Anyone know of any Application/addon that will let you do a quick reply to a text that is incoming via Google Voice App? Here is a screen example

I'm not looking for screen popup like 8sms, just the option in the notification bar so I don't have to load Google voice application and select the message every time I want to reply...

The only option I know of is to use Sliding Messaging Pro because it provides a reply option in the notification bar.

That was suggested to me in another thread for Voice SMS integration, but there is no free version to test, so I have not tried it yet. I think all apps should have a free version (even if limited).

Okay... Issue is really starting to annoy me.
I'm using Handcent and have standard messaging app notifications turned off. Whenever I get a text message, I get my Handcent notification icon + the icon pointed out below. The icon pictured below doesn't go away when I read the message either, I have to manually clear it.
Any ideas where this icon is coming from so I can turn it off?

when you get a notification, don't just clear it, click on it and see where it takes you. That's where it's coming from and where it should be disabled if you don't want it.
Nevermind... Found out it is Beautiful Widgets Pack 2 that created that notification... unistalled that and it's gone now!

I had already tried that, but when I clicked it, it just took me to the default messaging app... Handcent; I then changed default back to stock messaging and it took me there, that's why I was pretty sure that neither of those apps were creating the notification.

I got bored of the sms popup as when i was playing games popups were pausing my game and I was loosing the game momentum..
SO I tried to develop a app which will show sms toast message but on background..
This Advanced Sms Toast is app which shows sms toast when you get a new sms and it does not halt your current work while showing sms.
If you feel the message is from some one important then go back and respond to the sms.
I have added some customization to this app as users choice to add Senders photo, Change color and position of the toast message.
There are 9 positions user can choose for where to place the Toast message on screen and 12 color options to choose from for toast message.

Any ideas what app that "3 unread messages" notification could be linked to and how to remove it? I have tried marking all emails as read, and marking all SMS as read, with no luck. Its a very odd error and quite annoying as I like the custom lock screen.
By any chance you don't have 2 sms apps installed, like go sms and stock? If so, you'd have to clear them from both apps, and then disable the one you don't use.
That was it, thanks very much! Had to re enable stock messaging and clear its SMS.

No problem, figured that's what it was. I normally just delete the stock sms apk, personally.

Do you have any app that does not stop to post notifications in the statusbar and you do not know how to remove it?
Do you want to add recurring alerts for messages from any of your friends on WhatsApp, Facebook or GMail?
Now you can do both very easily!
You just have to select which application publishes the notification you want to delete and/or for which you want to add a recurring alert and we take care of everything else.
