Help find official firmware for P3113 - Galaxy Tab 2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi, I been searching and having trouble finding the stock official firmware for the P3113 samsung tab 2. It keeps pointing me to the hotfile site that is not longer available. I even went to the samupdates and it keeps getting me file not found. Can anyone help point to a link to get this or can someone share it if they have one. Thank you.

Any luck? I need this by tomorrow!

nope nothing,

The only official stock I have is 4.1.1 for XAR region (P3113UECLK7_P3113XARCLK7_XAR). If you need this one, here is the link. Not sure if there are traffic limits for download, so, first come, first served. Sorry, I can't upload to other mirrors right now...

[Q] Where to find old firmware

Hi all,
I wonder if there is a repository of old firwmare to do a downgrade. In fact, from the ASUS website, just the latest firmware is available.
In particular, I'm searching for firmware Version V8.2.3.9(WW).
Thanks in advance.
Best regards,
P.

If you use IRC go to the #asus-transformer channel and ask there. At least a few days ago multiple people had old firmware.
Good Luck
i think i have the zip for the .9 at home but its the US SKU
Somehow my copy got corrupted so I too am looking for the 8.2.3.9 WW version if anyone could share it please.
Edit: Found them here if anyone else needs them:

Where can I get stock Firmware

Looking to start from scratch with my Note 10.1(N8013) but can't seem to find any active links to stock firmware. I am currently running Cyanogenmod so I don't believe I need to worry about the bootloader issues. I think dirty flashing has caught up to me and given me some instability and would like to start from fresh and get back to some CM goodness. Anybody got any links or care to host a stock firmware file and a .pit if there is one?
N8013 only has up to 4.1.2 official. You can find it on sammobile.com
Let me try downloading from their again the link was dead when i tried. Got the Android 4.1.2 file. Only concern is that is it for Cellular South any issues for a US one or no?

No that is the US version. I used it myself on my 8013. Must be a generic "carrier" since its wifi only tablet.
Awesome will proceed to flash then thank you for the clarification
I didn't like the sammobile site myself.. the downloads were unreliable.
I found this thread -- http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1849994http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1849994
5th line down he had a link to an image that I was able to use to restore my n8013 after a bootloop issue.
please someone advise which region code on summobile is for uk or ireland?

SAMMOBILE doesn't have US Firmware?

Hi folks,
I've been having lots of problems with my GT-P5113 (Tab2 10.1 wifi, US version). After several custom ROMs didn't solve my issues I figured I would return it to absolute stock via ODIN. I'm reasonably experienced with ODIN and other tools, but not an expert.
To get the stock firmware, I went to the SAMMOBILE site and made an account. However, when I enter my model number (p5113 or variants on this theme), all I get are firmwares for Slovakia or Canada or Macedonia and the like. No sign of US firmware.
Am I doing something wrong?
Please help me get a stock US version firmware I can ODIN. For me moment I'm using the RIPPER ROM but I'd like to get full stock for a trial. I've tried using Kies, but... well it sucks. It's asking me for the serial number, and the rom doesn't show it. the rom actually thinks it is a 5110...
Any help appreciated!
They usually do for most devices but for some reason neither they nor Samsung updates have it for the 5113. The Canadian one shouldn't hurt but no guarantees there.

How annoying!
I eventually got my serial number via Phone Info SAMSUNG app. I put on Ripper ROM, got it up and running, and it seems to be mostly doing OK for my kids games. Eventually looked up serial number in there. For now I'll stick with it. It thinks I'm a 5110, though... I guess I should edit the buildprop.
Marc
PS: If anyone has a link to a site with the stock 5113 US firmware, I'd appreciate it!
Sigh. I thought I found a link, from this page:
http://androidromupdate.com/2013/12...sung-galaxy-tab-2-10-1-gt-p5113-p5113ueucmk3/
But the link they give is dead... takes to "rapid gator" and says file not found, do I want to pay for an account...

Yep, all ROMs for the 5110 will work on the 5113 with no problems. Same for 3110/3113. They stopped making 5113 and 3113 ROMs a while ago.

Also,
Samsung rolled out the firmware for the following countries. The firmware which are unbranded or not locked to any carrier, no matter of which country or region, can be flashed on any Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 GT-P5113 model.

This page says that the files are universal, so you should use the Cellular South file. I've seen the same thing on multiple pages. If for some reason you cannot download the file from sammobile, here is a link to download the file. http://terafile.co/353308769276/XAR-P5113UEUCMK3-20131209190549.zip. It is from the same page that has the link to RapidGator (samsung-updates.com)
The ONLY difference is with the IR Blaster. Thats all Ffffffolks!
Thanks JRC2! Good info there.
Another kind XDA user sent me a private link to the files, and it's good to see a public link for Terafile. For some reason I can never get that Terafile link to work... The page loads, I click to download, nothing happens other than it shows me paid options. It says a free, slow download is available but I was never able to get it to start downloading. Perhaps something about the way I've got my browser configured...
Anyway, I'm good to go and hopefully future readers can get the terafile link to work for them, or download from SAMMOBILE now that which one to use is cleared up. Thanks to this wonderful community.
:good:

Did you ever get this fixed? What kind of bootloop were you in? Did it say "Android is starting... Optimizing app XX of XX."?

No, not yet. And when i start up the phone, and all it does is show a black screen with a samsung logo and stays that way.
Try entering recovery (Vol up+Home+Power), see if it says there on the bottom something like DM Verity failed.
If it does and the phone was rooted before (Knox something else than 00 in DL mode), just flash CF autoroot for your model, or some other kernel for your model, you can find it here or google it.
If it does and phone is stock (Knox 00), I would try Authorised Samsung repair shop, and ask them to fix it in warranty.
Thank you I have recently fix my phone. Thanks for everyone's help.

Download this file it's kinda big because it's a stock firmware. https://1drv.ms/u/s!AtUOJHO1Ks7cgTeMnlD2_XOPr1xT and there should be 4 files in it and you put these files into Odin. And in the beginning of the file names should be like AP,BL,CP and CSC. Once you put the right files in the right place click start and it should fix the problem.

Are any of these ROMs UK or EU versions? I flashed the last one and Samsung pay doesn't work in the UK for me.
@shenery Samsung Pay unfortunately doesn't work in the UK full stop.
Can someone tell me where is the tread that explains how i chose the correct firmware version and how i flash it? This is the first time I'm interested in the forum of the Gear S2 and it looks interesting. Thanks!

its never too late to try to help someone out irrespective of the outcome. That being said, Sammy rolled out an update that fixed the issue. Watch has been back in business for a few months now. Super happy kiddo! He was so let down when it started effing up. Thanks for responding man, sincerely.

Thank you bbsc much appreciated this isn't in the list. Mine isn't updating automatically via the android app. So I'm assuming there's no fix for this other than using Odin as I've found no other mention.
I'll try to find the latest is this the 6mb one that updates battery life.
As i think I'll need to go through all the others to get to the latest version, if Odin is the way to go.
Thanks for the help.
