Guys, i just got my nex 5 a day back.. Just checkd vdo recording now.. It doesnt initialise.. Every other part of the camera works fine.. Photosphere, panorama, still cam... Just the vdo recording doesnt seem to work.. It doesnt initialise on pressing the record button.. HELP...

Did anyone find a solution to this? I have TWO Nexus 5's, both are rooted but stock, and neither will record video. When you press the record button, nothing happens. What gives? I can't find anyone else really who is having the same problem, and yet I wind up with TWO that do the same thing??
I have the same issue. Stock 4.4.2 rom & kernel, rooted. Tried to fix it by wiping the camera app data but it didn't change anything.

Thanks for your video fix update so far the video issue is fixed and video is working fine.But as i told the some of the apps were not displayed in application drawer and widgets.
I have uninstalled those apps and restored it and then it is displayed in application drawer but after Rebooting(Because of installing the Videofix) those applications disappered.
Please Update a fix for this issue, i dont know whether this issue exist only for me or everyone.
If it is only for me means please guide me away from this issue and also the vibration while typing in the keyboard.:crying::crying::crying:

Hi Jigar,
Thank you for this wonderful ROM:good:. The touch is smoother and is really fast.
I thing I noticed and like to address is that I am not able to move my apps on SD card. Few I would like to name is Whats app, Flash Player, etc...
I tried using Gemini App manager and also try from System Settings but the option of moving to SD card is graded out.
I also install 360 launcher but all in vain.
Could you please throw some light and give your valuable advice.

chainfire 3d issue

Everything in the rom just works fine.. But when i tried to install the chainfire 3d drivers, many thing got pixelated like icons and some boxes in many apps.. is it a problem with my device or the rom is not compatible with chainfire?? i had installed it on the stock rom and it worked fine... The camera of my Micromax canvas HD has stopped working after i rooted the device and installed a custom Rom! :crying:
The camera just shows a black screen and never responds! It shows "Cant connect to camera" or "unfortunately gallery is not working" and the camera app crashes!
I installed several camera apps but still its not working!

you will need to take your Micromax phone to the service center and tell them that your camera stopped working suddenly
and while you are going to the service center,Be sure that you have flashed the stock ROM and unrooted the phone as well

The cam is working intermittently! Suddenly it starts working while at times ti remains dead! What to do? Is visiting the service center the only option? Heard they keep the phone for weeks without a proper resolution! :crying:

And what exactly is the problem with it, is the app not loading or its all black when the app loads or what,, could you please explain..
Take it to service centre they will repair or replace the handset

well according to me the camera working sometimes and sometimes not is definitely a software related problem so I advice you to go to micromax's official website where they must have uploaded the stock firmware and download it and flash the stock firmware
if this doesn't work out then I guess you must try out other ROMs for your phone and check which ROM gives no camera problems and then stick to that ROM.

well i've tried all the custom ROMs that are available online! Still its intermittent! No idea why! Unrooted and installed to stock ROM but issue persists! Android geniuses please guide this poor soul! I've heard horrifying tales about Micromax service centers and how they harass customers! So dont really want to visit it!

Did you disable or remove the only app that had samsung in its name? I think samsung accounts config or something like that, using titaniumbackup or similar? That's what caused the same problem for me. Restore it and you're good to go!

All the procedure went well and asked to reboot but
unfortunately it doesnt get past the
xolo logo screen. I know it takes around 3 to 5 mins for first boot but waited for more than two hours but nothing happens. Can anyone help me in this? I am using latest philz touch recovery.

And then charged back to 99 in just 9 mins

i havnt faced such issue yet, also not reported by anyone else.
I suggest u reflash the rom with all wipes - system/data/chache/delvic chache.
please report back.

I am using hny rom Legend v10 rom.
In this these is motion pre setting that changes song or starts song stops it when the phone is flipped.

What can u mention is that now i using a custom rom with some ported apps from note4 that is have no problem and the rom base is still stock android 5.0.1 for i9500
I dont know what apk or Something get changed or i changed something wrong and now any text i enter in messages app and whatsapp or similar app turn into link
For Example i want to type : "hi.ok" it turns into link "hi.ok"
But if i type "hi. Ok" its allright and no problem
This mean something handle this content is missy detect any sinple text as link.
Could you helppp me plzz devs how to fix this?

Hi, thank you for using XDA Assist. I don't why you're having that issue. It could be things you've modified or the app. I would return to stock and then install your apps and see if it's working correctly. Then do what ever mods you did. Tah'll narrow it down to an app issue or the mods you did.
