Just finished compiling Carbon ROM for LG-G2 phone. This is the first time I compiled any android ROM. I have done very little testing on my phone and it seems to be working fine. Please make a backup and check if it works for you.
I rooted my phone and installed TWRP by following the guides on LG-G2 forum. I have tested it on TWRP.

About Carbon
CarbonRom is an aftermarket firmware based on the Android Open Source Project. We are dedicated to fast, stable, and feature-filled roms, honesty and communication with our users, and openness with our code. We like frequent builds, with the very latest and greatest hardware support and fixes. We strive to not only provide you with the best rom we can build, but also to give back to the Android community and our fellow developers. For us, this is about creating something we can be proud of and hope you will enjoy.
Please feel free to look at, build, and use our code on CarbonDev GitHub.
We would like to thank CyanogenMod for their device trees, framework/settings mods and their code that was incorporated into this project. We also extend our gratitude to the devs whose code that we have incorporated. Proper authorship has been maintained and can be viewed on our repository.
Special thanks also go to Slim Rom for some of their features, PA, AOKP, and anyone else we may have borrowed commits from that hasn't been mentioned here. If you feel you have been unfairly left out, please - let us know.
While we make every effort to test these builds as much as possible, we are not responsible for anything that may happen to your device, family, pets, or perception of reality. We ask that you do your part to know your device and know how to recover from problems before you flash! If you have questions, ask your fellow users or ask us in #teamcarbon on freenode IRC.
Features
Simply stated, we can't really list features here. There are too many and they change too frequently, and we now support a truly insane number of devices. Chances are, if you like a feature, we have it already. Seriously.

Download Carbon
All Carbon downloads and further information such as features, changelog, and FAQ can be found on our goo.im page.
Both nightly and release builds are available. Please note that nightlies are for development purposes. This means that they may not work properly, may not flash, may not build for days at a time, and will probably eat your cat. If you flash these, know what you're doing, have backups, and don't complain when something happens. It's on you!

Support
We spend an astonishing amount of time developing this software. We can't spend much time on XDA as a result, so if you need support, please try the following:
1) Search. Search, search, search. Yes, you. I don't care how unique or important your question is, it's very likely someone has adressed it already. Especially if you're even close to new at this.
2) Read our FAQ, which can be found on our goo.im page linked above. It's new, but expanding fast. Just like us!
3) Ask a question in your device forum. Someone will no doubt try to help you. Warning: this help may come in the form of telling you it's a dumb question that has been asked before. See step 1 - such are the perils of asking questions when you haven't done the research yourself. Android is about helping yourself.
4) Join our G+ Community: http://community.carbon-rom.com This is where we spend the bulk of our time and the best way to reach us and other community members. We update and frequent this community far more than XDA, simply due to time constraints and the convenience of G+.
5) Ask a question on our IRC channel. Connect to #teamcarbon on irc.freenode.net or click here. You'll find several other Carbon fans and usually one or more devs as well. Please be polite.

Remember, every penny you send to us goes right back into the rom. It's used for hardware, server costs, etc - all the things that help us make Carbon better with every release. Your support means the world to us! If you've enjoyed Carbon, please consider a donation toward this goal. Thank you, and we hope you continue to enjoy Carbon!

Wouldn't CM7 fill that void, and this just be a skinned version of it? You should probably give credit where credit is due, and in this case that would be a LOT to the Cyanogenmod team, since all you're doing is putting a skin on it (and there are already a few skins available for CM7 alpha).
I haven't released the rom yet so no credit has to be given at this time. So thanks for the heads up.

Paint me skeptical -- and if I'm wrong, and my skepticism is unfair and unjust, then I do certainly apologize beforehand -- but you have like 2 posts, you claim you don't own a Thunderbolt, yet you've made a CM7 build that is "skinned." You're extremely vague in your post, there are no screenshots, no additional information, nothing. I wouldn't dare flash your ROM without some credit given and some credibility.
That's good news for you because its not a ready rom yet. Hense no screenshots. And yes I'm very vague because I've only started this project. So keep your panties out of a bunch and hold tight.

Work around for proper signal bars.
EpicRIL extends SamsungRIL and just transforms some incoming data fro\m the modem so AOSP signal strength can portray it correctly. See commit by Uberpinguin here

So... Are these builds continuously building on the official release - fixing or adding to that build? I ask because the official release is working so good but these builds might make it even better!
TIA,

As devs add code to git hub it is automatically built into the nightly by a build server with no interaction from the devs. We as users of the nightlys help make it better by reporting bugs as they happen. Bugs will happen as the code added is often untested because it is so new. If you don't want any new bugs, use CM7 stable.

And another one four hours later!!
These are official codefireX JellyBean Nightlies brought to you by Synergy(e) and TeamCodefire. These use official CM device repos and are built from source nightly. THIS MEANS IT HAS ANY BUGS THE CM10 NIGHTLIES HAVE.
codefireX is a CM10 spinoff with the goal of providing additional power-user features (contained in the codefireX settings panel) while still maintaining full upstream CM compatibility for automated CM merges daily for the nightlies. This means the nightlies are fully up to date with the CM10 nightlies, however you get additional features as well! The codefireX settings panel will become more populated with features as this project progresses, and more device nightlies will also be added.
The codefireX github is HERE. Changelogs are not available, however you may use github (always current). The maintainer for this will not respond to questions on this thread, so please help your fellow android user out or visit twitter/IRC

Awesome more ROM's! I was going to flash a sense ROM for fun tonight, but I'll flash this tonight instead. I'm going to try a dirty flash from CM10 nightly since they're based off the same thing. I'll report back with bugs! Thanks a lot.
RESULTS:
Booted up perfectly, no stutters ROM is running great. The DPI changer that's built in fixes the off center lockscreen which in my opinion is worth the whole ROM flashing itself. Other cool tweaks are quite nice like a kill all apps button when you bring up recent apps. All in all it's the great CM10 we all know and love, with some neat little tweaks to make it even better. Great job.
OMG I just took a bath using bath salt. I'm feeling excited now.

Just flashed and now reboot. Time to play

First off, allow me to explain All-Star Developers. We're pretty well known around the fourms for android development. That doesnt mean our members HAVE to make ROM's. Anything will work. Themes, kernels, mods, hacks, etc... If you can contribute ANYTHING to the community, you can join All-Star Devs. We are not loking for RD's or RC's. you can be a senior member and apply. If you ar ean RC or and RD, you can join and we would be happy to accept you.
Benefits of Joining
Why should you join All-Star Devs?
- If you're releasing a ROM in a new section with new people, people will be skeptical to try your work at times. Letting them know you're part of ASD will take that away. I can almost guarantee you that someone will come along and say, "Oh, All-Star Devs? You were awesome on my other device".
- Help. When we make a Rom, kernel, theme, etc... we are all going to need help at some point. If you're in ASD, just ask your question in the group. Someone will definitely know the answer. You can also share things between each other. Whether it be mods, files, .apks', anything at all.
Requirements
Want to join? Be sure to meet these criteria before submitting your application.
1. You have ALREADY contributed something to the community (whether it be a ROM, Kernel, Theme, etc...)
2. You are very active on XDA
3. Willing to help other Users
4. You have at LEAST 200 thanks
How to Join
You want to join all-Star Devs? You meet the requirements above? Follow these steps to join.

You will find that most top notch developers are loners and come together when needed but stay to themselves for the most part.

True, but we aren't looking for top notch developers. Just someone who has knowledge on developing and wants to give more and develop more.

Joining would be a good way to start developing, but once you learn his to develop good products than you don't need to be known because once someone tries it and realizes how awesome it is you will be recognized good what you do. I would join, but I'm not a good developer yet and when I do I plan on "trying" to join deviant development, which is where what I can say is the best developer on this forum ptmr3. Greatest developer because he doesn't only put out great stuff, but he helps everyone that asks for it. I very you without him you guys wouldn't even be where you are today. If I get better I'll try to get in, unless you guys are willing to help me get better. I would really appreciate if you would be willing to help me, I do nothing else =p

What I would like to do for you guys is theme, I have done knowledge on it but not much. (Don't have any work because I am messing with the files to see what I can do.) I can make boot animations also. (Don't have any work because I don't feel the need to post them.)

I see your name too as a top notch developer name, I think it has something to do with the fact you are labeling yourself for a specific device which gives us the impression that you are strictly for the s2 t989.

"All-star Developers" implies that you're only looking for top-notch talent. An "All-star" team.

Not really, it's just a name like the Toronto Raptors (first team to come to mind). They aren't really raptors.

So, I have been working on a custom rom for the skyrocket. Its starting with the base of aokp and I am going to add my own tweaks and additions. Looking for options or ideas of what to add into the rom as well.
Name of the rom is Android Arrow
Toyes

I'm not really into kernel editing yet. I have plans to build with carvsdrivers marla kernel. I haven't asked him yet but I'm sure he would be cool with it.
Would anyone be willing to make a bootanimation for me?? It would just be a clean and simple animation. I think I have a name ready for the rom but am open to more suggestions.

aokp unofficial?
Is this going to be in place of the unofficial aokp port you did for our skyrocket? The aokp Rom you put up is by far the best I have used. If this will use aokp as the base I'll be a tester. Lastly will this be a slimmer Rom or a feature filled one? Keep up the great work you give noobs like me a reason to try harder.
Whichever way he goes, you can guarantee it will be a DD. Love all that you have brought to us Toyes. As well as all the other great devs and helpful members we have here. Thanks for making my rocket the envy.

Mind reader....
Seriously Toyes, if you keep readin my mind as to what i would put in my own rom i think i'm going to start to get worried. Honestly i am getting into making/tweaking roms because of this community. I honestly know nothing about writing code or anything like it but i am trying my best to learn. I have not or will not ask any stupid noob questions, i understand what the internet is really for (not porn) but it's pursuits like this that make me want to join the fray! Thank you Toyes keep up the epic work! :good:
Thought about troubling you to add some audio goodies, but it looks like you already have it covered l haven't been this excited about an upcoming ROM in a long time!

I can't post on the dev thread so I'll ask here, is there ribbons on this Rom? I used to never use them but now I'm addicted to using them. Thanks in advance. I'm downloading asap.

I had a weird thought, you need a custom battery icon. Like an arrow inside a circle pointing at the current percentile. That would quite frankly be epic. So far no problems on the ROM. Have yet to test calls, needing phone right now so the Sim is on my captivate while I am on call. I will try stuff and see what happens. You rock toyes
