modaco: switch for galaxy s4..what are your thoughts please share!!!

Great news, was envious when I seen this on the HTC One, it will be great to change so easily between vanilla and touchwiz on the S4.

something like that , motorola (droid maxx) have it from a long time , it's time also for samsung to bring this feature to all of as
GO Samsung !!!!!!!!!!

On their funding page they only mention the i9505.

I don't think so. I think it's only for phones with Google Edition versions because you have the same kernel for tw and ge rom.

Of course it will, just a matter of time. The Google edition s4 has already received the update and so the standard version will follow, it just takes longer for Samsung to update the Touchwiz framework. There may be an additional delay if your s4 is a carrier/network branded version.

on the modaco forum it says the ROM is only for the GSM version.
So does that mean it will or won't work on the i9505?

It has been built for the i9505, in the forum soneone asked about cdma and Paul responded with the below:
'A CDMA version isn't planned, what IS planned however is making Switch available to all ROM devs.'

Why is it unbelievable? KitKat is so outdated. I say so proudly as I run Android 23.7.12 Pastry On my Galaxy S18. And thats the Latest Version. :laugh::laugh::laugh:

it is compatible to our device I tested the cyanogenmod in jhaivab but its BETA but it works . I like the works of DEV promised they make their way just to have better Cyanogenmod 11 to our device so be patient pls. :good: :good: :good: :good: :fingers-crossed: :fingers-crossed: :fingers-crossed:

PA is working on several devices, but you must get one made for your phone, if one is available.
you can NOT take PA made for nexus and put it on your phone.
