That's how the phone is. I think that's how the dialer was on Jellybean as well. Is exiting the call and writing the number down elsewhere, such as in a text message an option?
Or you could open up a note app like Keep or a sms text and type it in?
NX5
thank u

No i have not heard of anything like that.... you could copy paste in threaded sms view (all into one sms) that may or not be a quicker may to do it.....
you want to send 10 different sms's to the same person at the same time?
why not send one after the other? or just... write a long one.. usually the provider divides the messages according to the agreed length.

I'm very sorry but I can't seem to understand what you want.
to send multiple SMS's you can just creates Drafts of the messages you'd like to send and send it again and again to the same person. you can do the same thing for the same message or for different messages.

Is there an easy way to add a new contact from a txt? What I mean is, say you get a txt from someone not in your contacts. Instead of their name, their number shows up. Is there a way to make a new contact with them without have to write the number down and adding it manually?

don't think so...you have to copy it and then paste into the dialer and then save to contacts
When your in the txt message, press menu key and then you'll get the option add to person, and then make a new contact with that number. That is how it works with mine so it should work on yours to.
short press on the message from the number that isn't in your contacts, then select add contact.
When I want to text a message, I get a list of frequent numbers. I have read from HTC these numbers belong in "frequent group". Most av these numbers that are shown when I start typing a number are not numbers I call frequently. Some I have called only once. Problem is there is no way to delete them or is there?

Hi
I found very annoying that you can t copy directly on the dialer when ou receive a number by sms.
For example when you copy a nimber and wants to call it you have to past it on the dialer . But when you open the dialer you have nowhere you can past it, so you have to write a number then you are able to past and then delete the first number you wrote.
Perhaps i m missing something...
Regards
Lol
All you have to do is to open the dialer and tap the "Menu" on the bottom right and "Paste" is the first option on the top
