Uhm not sure. I just used the Allshare app I believe
I can stream from my minidlna ubuntu server to my allshare app without any problems. The only annoying thing is that they removed the'folder'view. On my p7500 that made life much easier...

Ever seen the latency on those things?
OP, not going to happen unless microsoft include the hardware and software to support the same streaming tech the shield will be using on PC, and thats a definite no as the xbox one will be using AMD tech not NVidia.

when and/or if microsoft allows streaming thru Smartglass, boom.
I know my note 2 and HTC one had this built into the gallery but is it possible on the nexus 5? Is there an app that can do it?
