Can anyone shed some light on some of the weirdness I find on my moto G
I bought two moto G.
One moto G , the white color on the screen is more pure white
the second moto G, the white color on the screen is more off white... it is very slight .I don't think I can capture the difference on camera. but when you see it. you can tell one is more white than the other.
second weird difference
on one of the moto G, google now hot word is "ok google"
on the second moto G, google now hot word is just "google"
I am puzzled about this..
any one know??
I compare the version of OS, kernel, and detail of the phone. both are the same.
This is the International Moto G , 8 GB
oh what do you know. I can capture the different with my playbook camera.. here it is

weird ... anyone know?
sorry double p ost
That is weird and seems like it's outside the range of normal production deviations. I don't think most people have their Moto Gs yet to compare, maybe it was one batch, or maybe it was an entire assembly line.
One has an outdated google now for sure. The one without the "ok google" has an outdated version. And contact google ASAP. They should replace the off-white version. Its a digitiser issue.

"OK Google" vanishes after a few uses.
Google do not sell the Moto G.
The digitizer has nothing to do with the colour of the screen.
Both screens can have differente manufacturers... we dont know.
But it can also be a defective one.

Mine is from UK store - just phone, no contract.

I've encountered this weird problem with the camera. The phone is brand new. When trying to take pictures, in the viewfinder and the pictures taken, it was blurry and ghostly, something exactly like this:

I have tried so many ways including hard-resetting, flashing to new ROMs and whatnot. Still none works. Any suggestions, please, I don't wanna send te phone all the way to HTC Turkey for repair, as HTC USA claims that my phone's serial number belong there. Thank you all.
I had a similar problem with my Fuze's camera. When I would take photos, it would look like static (meaning the image would not come out at all) but it would be colored exactly the way your photo is colored (the greens, purples, and oranges).
That phone also had a dead pixel on it, so I ended up returning it to an AT&T store, and they gave me a replacement. The problem did not exist on the new replacement phone, so i'm guessing its an issue with the camera.

Thank you for your confirmation, I guess I've gotta try to contact HTC then since I've got my TouchPro on E-Bay.

my step dad had this problem on his iphone and he did a hard reset and it fixed the problem but i would say normally if this happens it is a problem with the ccd so i would try hard reset and dont' load any apps if it still does not work then RMA it
Strange quirk this. I have two identical Nexus 5 phones. My girlfriend's phone shows 'Say "Ok Google"' always next to the mic icon.

On my phone, hotword Detection WORKS but why does my phone not display 'Say "Ok Google"' like hers?
I know it's silly, but I'd kinda like it to!

Mine said it originally... but then I installed Open Mic+ and it disappeared. I uninstalled Open Mic+ but it never came back...

On opening the quick settings, we all know that the first (Top - Left is "ME" or the android user's profile pic) is your profile pic.
But ever since i bought Moto G, my name will appear somewhere in between the pic, most of the phones have the name displayed at the bottom of the pic, but that's not the case with me.
Can Moto G users please confirm if they have same problem of name appearing on the pic rather than at bottom ?
A screen shot of your quick setting will be helpful.
OMG! I only noticed it now!!
Seems strange.

Name doesn't show in the middle on my Nexus 7, so it still might be a bug…

Yes, I am totally aware that name is usually at bottom for almost all other phones.
I had a Htc One V and it displayed the name at bottom too.
I guess Moto tried to be different but it's a completely illogical change, it's annoying to see the name cover up your face

Awesome news! Wifi support, drawing emoji's, et cetera! I'm excited!
I'm curious. Does the moto 360 have a wifi antannae? Also every article I've read gave a different date of release. Some said Friday, others said in next few weeks, while a few said today
I suppose the link you provided is likely the more reliable one. But still I want it now
The Moto 360 will support wifi! Motorola blogged about it somewhere. Just as all the others except for the G watch
Why not the G Watch with the same Snapdragon 400 as the other watches? (except the moto)
I found it in a thread somewhere, that was the only difference. The chip supports it, but the hardware antenna isn't there. Unfortunately I can't seem to find the thread again
They can tell us the phone and watch do not necessarily need to be tethered by bluetooth, they will enable WiFi.
They will allow stand alone apps.
Two questions when ?
Next month or in 6 months ?
And
How will it effect battery life.
No Android Wear Smart Watch I seen, it that great with battery life.

Can you post pictures of the WiFi settings?? Also, you have the G watch R? I though the LG Urbane was suppose to get it first.
Sent from my SM-N910V using XDA Free mobile app
Here you go:
In English:
''Enable synchronization with cloud to synchronize data from phone and watch through Wifi"
It's only app on phone update. Like google said LG Urbane will get firmware update first.
But keep in mind that Urbane have the same harware as G Watch R so maybe delay will be very short
Now If only we could get support for google voice call notifications and sending sms through a google voice #
I've got great information for polish users of Android Wear - new update will give us a polish language firmware for our watches, at last! Look at the very begining of this video: https://youtu.be/uKlvl6Wrch4
My video jerks while taping on phone body also if i recieve a call while taking a video it jerk basically a small vibration in my phone jerk my video... Am attaching a video. Which i took while getting a call(am in vibration mode).. ond one while tapping on my phone to make a vibration...Is it a common thing?
As per my service provider while send for repair, they are saying it is common fault in all pixel 3 phone and they cannot repair....
Please help.. unable to attach as a new user
I had exact fault on my Pixel 3, which seemed to appear after I was filming video while driving through rough tarmac with the phone sitting inside windscreen mount. Got in touch with Google, sent the phone to them and received a replacement...

Hello, the same issue in videos have a look at sample, as well I noticed blurry pictures always left side, definitely some issue with autofocusing. https://youtu.be/dKvitEYGcF0

I currently have the same issue. Really disappointing - i dont think google will replace due to me having a small crack on my screen.
Loads of peoiple reporting the same issue on the google support forums.

No, new phone they've sent me doesn't have this issue. My previous one also only developed the fault after sitting in a windscreen mount in my van and going through rough roads while recording video.
Finally mine was replaced by Google, received completely new unit.
