OMX Source Code Available. Hardware Encoders/Decoders can be fixed now.

Hello there folks, On Xperia U's Android Development Thread named "[ROM] [NIGHTLY] [TeamCanjica][UB] Unofficial CyanogenMod 10.1", @XperianPro posted a zip file containing sources for OMX.
Now I don't know whether that is legit or not, I had a look at it but to me it was nothing different than reading Chinese. Please Developers, have a look at the file, download it here: http://www.mediafire.com/download/hzg68480ecjozpy/vendor.zip
Just trying to get the word out. If the OMX gets fixed, it will be a huge Yay for all of us. Thanks to @Sh0m1 for pointing it out.
@diego-ch
I hope it will help the devs in fixing cm10.1 bugs
Special thanks to @XperianPro for finding that

Yeah, that OMX issue is the only thing that drives me away from using that ROM as daily driver. Other issues, Magnetometer, Tether, Hotspot, I don't have any problem with them.
Let's hope team Canjila releases a new nightly soon with these issues fixed.:good:
Well, lets wait for devs to see this
Had a quick look. Seems like its just the bellagio part. Mostly the ste additions must be present. Should work. Not sure though!

So it should help in fixing recording/playing videos?

Yes
What about gaming performance? Will it improve as well with OMX fixed?
And what about the RAM usage? Will it go down as well? The MIUI Thread says:
· Due OMX not working yet, you can face some excessive RAM usage and little UI freezes (no glitches)

Gaming performance is already alot better on cm than on stock, it is the UI glitching that is making it look laggy. And about MIUI, i guess so, but lets not get our hopes too high until the devs confirm it.

Let's see what happens.
You're right about keeping hopes low, high expectations = disappointment.
Yeah.
We'll see what this brings! Thanks for pointing this out O. P. =)

can i use it for PAC 23.0.X ?
If those are omx sources they are usable for all custom roms

CyanogenMod 11 build coming soon!!! (uberlaggydarwin's work)

I am going to upload a CM11 build soon , I have built it using the Build Guide from Brinly Taylor a.k.a @uberlaggydarwin , all credits go to him . I am just following steps and building.
Basically this week you can expect me to upload the build. I'll see if its going to be a flashable .zip or just .IMG files.
Xperia L owners will get the taste of full fixed , ORIGINAL work.
I'll keep this thread updated
Sent from my C2105 using Tapatalk
When you're ready with a build just upload it. One such thread created by @uberlaggydarwin is already locked because announcement threads aren't really allowed on Xda.
good work, and take your time
if you can't make a flashable zip, please make a recovery backup of the rom ..... because lots of guys are complaining about the many steps of installing cm11 .... specially those who don't have an available pc right now like me
No Need To Show Off , Do It and Upload

Btw. I'm only saying truth so don't report me and good luck in compiling

That's what I was talking about, the last news from Varun about true work.
Let's hope the person that created the thread will make that CM for us and upload it this week.

might be just post some screenshots from yours? and screenshot such as bluetooth, storage, gps etc
Although I'm not a big fan of the announcing a release for 'tomorrow' and never see it happen... You can't deny that there was some activity on his github (until 19 hours ago)
https://github.com/uberlaggydarwin?tab=activity
FXP supported CM 11 is coming to Xperia L in two weeks according to Varun...
