i have not tested this methods on Gionee CTRL V4/primo g3. i have only tested it on Noir A500.Flash on Gionee G4/primo g3/Polytron W7451 on your own risk.If you got bootloop after flashing rom replace boot.img with stock one.....

Works greatly in my PRIMO G3........( just need to replace the boot.img in the zip with the stock 4.2.1 boot.img, other wise it will not bootup in PRIMO G3 )...........THANKS AGAIN....:good:

Hello guys, Allview(Romania) released a new phone under their brand Allview: Allview H2 QUBO (Android Phone) and I searched some forums and you can really see Gionee CTRL V4 is the same with H2 QUBO Allview but the only diference is the RAM Memory because Gionee has 2 GB and H2 QUBO has only 512 MB.
I want to root my phone also increase my memory RAM with an an application from here but first of all I need to root so I am askin you friends if i follow the same tutorial for Gionee CTRL V4 ? I'm not sure if I can do this without breaking my phone can you friends tell me what to do ? :highfive:

First thing Ctrl v4 have 512 mb ram
Second thing to root follow MTK method because its universal just install driver from your manufacturer website.........
third after you install recovery throuh mtk tools make backup and then try install any rom from here and if it bootloops try replacing boot.img with stock one.
if roms work let me know i will add this phone to this thread

I got it working using the advanced restore option in CWM, using the 'restore boot' option and restored my stock boot. But your method is more convenient. Thanks man.

Just wanna make sure that the touch version of CWM works ok in Walton Primo G3. Most of the ROMs except Lewa OS work as well. I tested Gamerz, Lewa, S4, Xperia, MIUI and Stock(deodexed). Only bug I found so far was a bit of graphics glitch in the Gamerz ROM and Xperia ROM (only in the dialer in xperia and both in dialer and lockscreen in Gamerz). All :good: thanks and thumbs up to the author. You did an splendid job.

Touch cwm will work but may not work 100%.
Make sure to install it through mtk droid root and tools {pc version}.

sir, your phone is same as Micromax Unite 2 A106 just the ram in unite 2 is 1 GB....i tried to root using framaroot , it showed 3 options namely barahir, boromir and farahir but none of them worked....selecting any of the three showed error. btw still thanks for the response to my post.

ah now its confirmed that its not really the same maybe because of unite2 is running 4.4 KK

Sir, i forgot to back-up my vold.fstab file. If ever kung gusto ko mag unswap sa SD at internal storage ko, kaya lang na rewrite na yung file. May paraan paba para, maka kuha akung ng ganun na file?

Update: Sir just look for the vold.fstab.bak on my gdrive folder and just repeat the instructions above to regain your default SD setup

myphone agua rio fun
Hai to all.. I bougth myphone agua rio fun 2 weeks ago. So far I'm satisfied by its performance. But theres one think.. 145 mb lang ang storage ko taz 300+ lang ang ram. Ok lang kung d ako mag lalaro. I really want to play nfs mostwanted in my phone.. I searched the net for ways on how to increase its internal and ram storage so that the phone can meet the standard requirements such as 2gb internal and 1gb ram. It only requires 1ghz of cpu frequenzy and I have 1.3ghz so think its ok.. Nitong naka lipas na araw palahe nalang may message na nag popromt sa screen saying "internal memory full. Delete some apps". Pokemon lang naman at TC HAWx ang game ko dati at dmga dictionary.
Sa tingin ko memory swap talaga kailangan ko..
Questions.
1. How can I backup my stock rom so that in case of bootloop, I can just flash it to my phone??
2. I've seen technoclast rooting Myphone Agua Rio. Quadcore po yun. Dual core lang sa akin.
Pareha lang po ba sila ng process sa pag root ng agua rio at ng agua rio fun?
3. Does memory swap hasten my memory card life? I have sandisk 8gb sd card with a write speed of 5.8
4. What will happened if my memorycard will corrupt after a month (memory swap done) ? Does it affect system? Will it break?
It would be better if i will saw a video. Thinks po . sana matulongan niyo ako..supernewbei ako sa android. Symbian kase ako before

3. Yes memory swap hasten my memory card life, better use greenify (pls google it).
4. No, it will not directly affect the system. But you should backup before trying anything.
Note: better use tricks made for MTK 6572 processor based phones.

Lava iris x1 and xolo q600s has same specification
I wish if anyone could port this lollipop ROM for xolo q600s

Can U send me 5 Files in your Stock Backup
In Google drive
1.System/etc/Firmware (Firmware folder)
2.System/lib (lib folder)
3.System/usr/keylayout (Keylayout folder)
4.boot.img
5.System/built.prop
5 files copy one folder and zip this folder
Can u upload 5 files In Google drive..........
I will port Custom rom for ur device

Follow the same procedure as for stock ROM installation but without rooting:
procedure this with clean unrooted stock rom installation
select firmware upgrade instead of download option from dropdown list in main window of SP flash tools as shown in stock rom installation procedure
after completing upgrade check the build number MMX_Q380_SW_V8.0.8_HW_V1.0_080615_DCC

Micromax canvas spark q380
Hello sir I installed custom ROM in my micromax canvas spark q380 but after installed custom ROM everything working fine except accelerator and proximity sensor in my phone. I tried to installed other ROM also but everytime I stuck in splash screen and after splash screen phone is rebooting non stop. I tried 4 custom ROM but each ROM stuck after splash screen and rebooting contionusuly. Please help me
I also did wipe cache and device cache and system, data and factory reset after installed custom ROM but no working

Vibration intensity
Mr phonesvibration got drastically decreased after installing custom rom. Dont suggest apps likevibe or vibration intensity adjuster i hav tried them n ended in vaim. So is there a way toget vibration as in stock rom??

I am using your recovery on Nexian NV-45 ( SPRD7731 Spreadtrum processor ) , and of all the recoveries i tried only this one seems to pass the logo screen but hangs later on a grey background. Is there a way to modify the recovery to work on my device. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
