Apps to sd

I rooted ma fit so I can move my apps to sd card....I downloaded app called apps2sd from market bt it won't transfer my apps to sd card....plz help me so that I can transfer app to my sd card....I have superuser installed...

Hey...use gemini app manager from play store it allows to move many apps to SD....

You should use some script like Darktremor..
It allows you to move the apps, data, n dalvik cache to the sd card...
But you should do the partitions on your sdcard first..

[Q] Htc Pico PAC ROM 4.2.2 storage problems

Hey Guyz I am facing a problem with my htc explorer
I am using PAC rom 4.2.2 with int2ext
i have an error storage space running out but i hav 700mb free out of1.8 gb
Please help
o have reflsahed rom but problem is still there and now i cant download even a single app from market thanks!!!

this may be due to some app, when do you get this message, when installing app? which one?
if you have installed this app before you need to remove apps danta compeletly

i dont no due to which game whenever my younger brother plays game it appears wht can i do any solution plz

well, try to wipe dalvik, maybe that can help, otherwise try to reflash your rom

/cache
/SD ext
/data

Because the script works like that. If you were more sensible then you would have made 1gb ext partition. Int2extv2+ doesn't move all contents of the app to SD card(every time).

Use your common sense and delete unused apps. Also reduce your SD ext space to around 750 mb.
While using int2ext, every 100mb internal memory = 500mb ext memory.

U dont help me at all.......!

use 40int2ext.zip found anywhere on xda
after download...
extract the zip
copy the file and place in etc/init.d using root explorer
rebo0t and enjoy
if n0t working then rebo0t into recovery fix permission and rebo0t again
now u can use your sd-ext mem0ry:thumbup:

I have already a file like this in there?

Repartition your SD Card.
As I said, repartition your SD Card, in "powers" of two preferably. Then, install the script before you boot the device for the first time. And, do "superwipe" (includes Dalvik-cache) your phone before you install any ROM.

then there must be problem with your sd-ext partition.....

[Guide] How Use External Sd as Internel memory

HOW TO USE EXTERNAL SD CARD AS INTERNEL SD
Download and install external2internel from post 2
1] Open the app and grant permission
2] go to settings:
3]Tick 'send rescan'
4] Tick 'Use per default'
5]press original mounting point and change To 'storage/sdcard0'
And below tat chage to this storage/ExtSdCard
6]press Ext.sdcard device Access and change the value from 179:49 to 179:33 this is for galaxy core
7] press back button
8] Tick 'At Boot' box
9]Now press External>Internal*
10] wait for sometime
11] now check your internal storage
12] if needed Reboot
DON'T FORGET TO PRESS THANX BUTTON

If u have a 32gb memory card and internal memory of 8gb
After following all above stepz
Your internal memory will be 32Gb and memory card will be 8gb

I am new to this forum and expect lot of help from the experts....first of all give me the link of previous post to get external2internal...and to do all the steps u said ..should I root the phone or not? does it works for non rooted phone? and one imp thing...can I install my heavy games in sd card and keep and use for forever? thanks

Its only for galaxy core ??

I followed the instructions correctly but on my GT-i8260 shows both internal and external as 4.25GB.It doesnt swap it correctly.Do you know if i must change something else in order to work?

Mounts2sd not working!

I have flashed ICS rom on my htc xplorer.. Then i hav partitioned my 2gb sd card with 1024 mb to use it as internal storage! I have run some mounts2sd script cia cwm to make the 1024 mb as internal.. But its not working. can anyone help ?

Thanks for the reply bro.. I hav flashed cm9 based aokp ics rom... .. I have tried mounts2sd apk... The configuration menu doesnt pop up on start up...
I cant even click configuration
Also can u tell me which partition it has created on my sd card ? I hav partitioned it using CWM.. Ext2 or ext4 ?
I think i hav messed up.. And plz tell me if u can ... How to remove the partition i hav created using cwm?

partition is fine if you created thru cwm..you need to install busybox and int.d script before configuring mounts2sd..did you do it?

it shows that way in system settings..but if you view mounts2sd status it'll show internal & external memory usage..you got nothing to worry about, mark applications, data in configuration of mounts2sd..there will be no low memory problems no matter how many apps you install.

No you can't increase your ram by any app_its quite risky too
You can though increase your internal memory by link2sd or gl to sd

Convert memory to ram, no you cant but you can use an app called Ram Expander, what it does is create a swap file on your SD card and uses it as virtual memory, it will make you cell a little faster, hope that helps, thank me if my info was useful.

Well guys i already use link2sd but when i enable swap it doesn't increase any ram. That i meant when i said converting. I manage to free internal by odexing rom. But for ram i don't think i work it out. How swap file works ? Can anyone explain me any process ?

U can incrase ur RAM with Ramexpander, but this app needs rooted device... U can use ur sd card as ur ram with this app

First of all. Ram expander is not free. I can create swap file easily through my cwm recovery (6.x.x.x) version. But i can't moderate it to work as a virtual memory (RAM). Suggest me anything. I wll make my researche then. I wll try swapper and let you know .... Thank you guys.

Swapper no works to me. Just creating swap file. It doesn't merge ram. Like odex free space. It's not the same but you know what I mean.

Ur swap ram will not be displayed with ur system Ram... Use ROESOFT ram expander, u can see that what is happening with ur Swap ram
