Hey! I just downloaded PA 4 by Mysterious.
I unlocked the bootloader of my n5 by command line
I installed twrp by command line.
Relocked my bootloader.
Flashed pa and no signal.
Unknown baseband version.
What's wrong?
I also compiled aosp from sources, following source.android tutorials. No problems while compiling with make otapackage -j5. same problem with signal and baseband version unknown...
With omni ROM, same procedure. All OK. What's wrong?

Possibly a corrupted EFS file, try reflashing the factory image to see if that solves your issue. Good luck bro.

I did it. But no success...same problem. But when I flashed the recovery I have to relock my BL or not?

Your BL had to be unlocked in order to flash a custom recovery also flashing a factory image requires a unlocked BL if that is what you mean. You might try flashing the latest official CWM recovery and then flash PA again if this solves the issue. Make sure to run `fastboot erase cache` in cmd after you flashed CWM. Only relock the BL for warranty/repair issues bro, for the rest leave it unlocked.
With pa, I still have this problem...

Do you have a backup of your EFS?

If he doesn't and reflashing stock rom doesn't work, what would?
Reflashed stock IMG. With it works all propely but with aospa still no signal

I'm beginning to think it's a ROM related problem...
Wiped data, cache and dalvik
Flashed AOSPA by @Mysterious-Rom
No signal. Baseband version unknown.
Rebooted into recovery. Wiped data, cache, dalvik. Flashed omnirom, all OK.

Boot to Recovery, Wipe ALL, flash your GB Custom ROM, reboot, Flash GB GApps if not included in ROM zip, Enjoy !!!!
PS. Backup your data before wiping all / make a Nandroid backup if you want to come back to the ICS ROM.
Thanks

another way you could do it is to flash stock gb with kdz
this is useful if you are sending your phone in for repairs and you don't want lg to see that you have rooted your phone
but otherwise it you could just flash anything. just remember to clear data before you flash
just flash any custom ginger.... any rom like usual... wiping data and cache and other things...
Since I can't reply to the thread directly due to my post count, I'm just going to ask it here.
the download link says p51xx, but the actual file says p5110, wondering if its safe to install that on p5100.
bump
It's almost certainly safe to install, but 3G may or may not work.

I'm on stock rooted 5.1.1 with locked bootloader and dualrecovery perfectly working. Is it possible to simply perform a full wipe and downgrade to a 4.4.4 kitkat rom just flashing it through recovery?

Are you intending to use a pre-rooted kitkat 4.4.4? If so then yes but do a complete wipe, cache. dalvik, data and system first then flash the kitkat rom. Be sure to do a backup first.
Yes, I'd always use a pre-rooted rom. I think I'll do a backup and give it a try, cause the mobile radio bug is bothering me too much lately.

I couldn't stand the battery drain either, so I went back to KitKat and couldn't be happier with the performance. My battery life nearly doubled vs lollipop.
