Asus Prime Roms

Just purchased my Asus transformer pad today and I LOVE it. Question is I'm most likely going to root it and I'm wondering if transformer prime roms will work? Not going to do anything till I know its okay.

no they will definetly brick it haha

Although the hardware it similar I would say no.
And because we still have a locked bootloader there is no chance.
You'd end up bricking your device!

Tun.ko ?

Trying to tether dinc2 and tf300
Both rooted, i need tun.ko?
Sent from my ASUS Transformer Pad TF300T using Tapatalk 2
No idea. I doubt it. My Evo 4G with MIUI tethers with the TF300 out of the box with no problem. I guess that doesn't mean your phone is the same, but I don't think HTC would change anything about the tethering.
I am not using "stock" tether, i was using barnacle.
The 300 can see it but will not connect...

A dumb question

What's the difference between the tf700 and the tf700t......just curious
Sent from my DROID BIONIC using xda app-developers app
There is none. Might be a typo, but essentially a TF700 is the same as a TF700T.

T700T have a keyboard dock in the package...

TF700 is basically the umbrella model number for the TF700T (wifi), TF700KL (LTE) and TF700TG (3g).

that explains a lot actually. A lot more sense than thinking it was just a North American model kind of thing, and why there isn't the slot for 3G on the TF700T that I have.

New tapatalk HD Beta

Just letting everyone know that the new tablet version is out it looks amazing on our infinities! The layout make using xda so much better.

Do you know if this fixes the funky cursor behavior in the Reply window? That was an aspect of Tapatalk (and by extension the XDA app) that always aggravated me. What the h***, I'm going to give it a whirl.

Its a completely different app and so far for me its amazing. Im not sure what kind of problem you are talking about.

NICE! Thanks for the tip!

I think it's free for now until the full release in Jan 2013 when the beta version will be disabled somehow. But I think they'll offer a big discount for those that have the beta version.
I'm going to buy it when it goes non Beta.
Nice layout and the new dark mode is way better than XDA premium.
You actually see the text with this HD version.

I've tested it, and the weird keep-getting-back-to-the-first-position-in-the-textbox is gone. Furthermore, I must admit I like the interface, so I'll test this one as long as it last, and I may even fall from my beliefs regarding visiting forums in actual web browsers and buy this one. Thanks again for reporting in.

Is anyone here know how to delete forum "participate" in xda app? When I first setup, I added 4 participate forum to my setup, now I would like to remove 2, how I'm about doing that?

I believe that the Participated section lists forums that you have actually posted in. That will not change b/c it is always getting that info from the XDA servers. It's the same as if you went to the web site and use your username shortcut to find all you posts....
Favorite sections are the ones where you can subscribe to threads and forums. Is that what you meant?

Contrary to all of you, i'm not fond of that beta version and i prefer xda app. It's simpler, easier, faster. Only layout is better in tapatalk hd beta in my opinion.

To each his own. But i use multiple forums so this is amazing to me, The regular xda app is very buggy
and never gets updated

I only use xda forums, that's why i don't need a more powerfull (and complex) app like tapatalk, you are right.

I just downloaded tapatalk after reading this post and my initial impression is that this is a very nice app. I love how you can organize various forums and create shortcuts and the layout reading forums is very clean. I can't believe I haven't tried this before; this is awesome!

With the other threads listed alongside the thread you're reading, its great!
Personally that's my favorite feature

I was using my web browser (Firefox) with the full XDA forum pages on my Infinity, because I preferred the full site over the XDA app. Till last night, when I loaded up Tapatalk HD Beta and I like this better than even the XDA site its self in a browser . The way you can select a thread and the other topics all shift to the left is very nice. I have a much easier time navigating the forum threads with this app.
I'll have no problem supporting their work by buying this once it goes out of Beta.
(I do use the XDA app on my phone.)

This is a very nice app, been using it for many weeks now, here and on a few other forums... The first beta was out a few weeks back and was very unstable and not looking as great, but even then it was a lot better than the html site (or the non HD Tapatalk). The only thing I miss is to be able to view the whole thread while replying. This is not a deal breaker, but it is somewhat annoying...
In some posts I'm finding that any place I use a capital d "D" becomes a .
Didn't happen in this post though
Sent from my ASUS Transformer Pad TF700T using Tapatalk HD
BTW, it's now released and .99 cents for today only...

There are still a few bugs, but it's a very nice app for the price. Grab it while you can!

I believe that the stock TF700 *will* use 1700 when in 'single-core' mode, but is limited to 1600 when in multi-core mode.

If you can provide a screen shot with 4 core running at 1700, then I believe you, like the previous user stated, single core can hit up to 1700, but not all core can run at 1700 at the same time.
