Just a quick question, my S2 is running Android 4.1.2, if I backup all the apps+data using TB and restore it to N5 after copying the TB folder to it, will this work or I will have to install the apps again and will lose the data?
It will work.

Rooted, deodexed, stock ROM.
I know I can always add root back but be nice to have it baked in. Any rom out there like this?

Hi Guys,
I have bought a N5. I want to restore my TiB backup from my previous device (GSIII 4.3) to it (N5 4.4). I only restore apps + data of regular apps (not sysapps).
My doubt is that "Can I restore also the phone ID with TiB, or it isn't reccomended to do this operation?"
Thanx for the answer guys!
Have a good day.

I don't see how do it in that link
Then you haven't read it properly
All this PC software, example: Piriform recuva only works on a computer drive. In windows, imagine this is anything with a Drive Letter. C: drive etc. The only way to get a drive letter on your /sdcard is to use USB Mass Storage mode, which as previously discussed - is not possible on your Nexus 5.
With this I understand that I can't use any software for recover my deleted videos.

It's very difficult for me
Yeah it is and not guaranteed to work either.
In which case, they are gone. Have a look at my tips for prevention in the future

Is there a way to flash stock rom in TWRP? I saw the instructions using adb.
Rooted stock roms yes. Not returning to full stock though. See sticky in general for that

Hi everyone,
First of all, thanks for taking the time to read this. Long story short...I accidentally deleted all my photos from the gallery with a eBook reader app called Moon+ Reader...don't ask. I'm really upset now, as I've lost all my photos and am wondering if there is any hope of recovering the files? I don't have root access, but the image names/data shows up on my PC when I link the Nexus 5 to my computer. The only thing is that when I try to open the files on my PC, I get "The file can't be read. It may be damaged." I'm guessing if it's still displayed on my PC, the files must be store somewhere within the internal storage? Or is there something like a recycle bin where the internal storage files that are deleted are temporarily stored until the space they used to take is overwritten with new data? I just feel so stupid right now! Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!
P.S. I don't have root access. Would rooting my phone wipe my internal storage at this point?
There's no hope, sorry

I did this same thing once on my GNex. Only I was dumb enough to do it in the actual gallery app. I deleted ALL my pictures of my newborn son on my phone. Luckily, we used multiple cameras so I still had some pictures from other sources. This is why I use Dropbox (and Google+) to automagically backup my photos whenever I connect to wifi. That way, if it happens again, they're all backed up.
