Hey guys i am having some trouble with making notification bar transparrent i have tried it by changing values in res>Values>drawables.xml and res>layout>super_status_bar.xml but still no effect .I have attached both stock and modded system ui in attachement .
Why don't you try a simpler way to make the statusbar transparent ?
How about just install Xposed Framework and then downloading Gravitybox Module to make the statusbar transparent

Im doing it, look the attached image. If you want transparent statusbar and white clock, use Tweakbox (Xposed Module)

On this part of the Tweakbox, this tweak works only after reboot, which I didn't do last time but tried now and finally have transparent status bar as well ... And for others, there is a perfect guide for that - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2158652 .
Use AllianceROM. You can set any clock and status bar icon color you like and also any color/transparency of the actual statusbar on the fly without having to flash new mods.

Dont need to reboot, A soft Reboot (or Hot Boot) will do the trick . Also, you will get a black statusbar when the phone finish reboot, just pull the notification bar down and it will became transparent (or the color you want). Sorry my bad english!
I've changed the greyish icons to S4 white ones, later i will upload it.

I am using CM11 for ROM and I wanted to keep my theme but change the icons on the Notification Bar.
also, I'm using a really nice theme for CM11 but the theme automaticaly changes the NAVBAR style that can't be changed through Softkeyz while using that theme, any suggestions on how to fix this ?

There was an Xposed module for it I think. The theme I'm using does it for me already.

You'll have to decompile the theme and remove the resources for the nav bar from it.

I'm not sure if Xposed or Theme Manager gets priority. You can try it.

What he meant was when the screen turns off and become the lockscreen, the status bar part does not become transparent. And yes it won't. U need to modify the androidpolicy.jar for the lock screen transparency
It is in fact this I mean ... how do you change the androidpolicy.jar for transparency lock screen?
I tried to install Tinted Status Bar, but nothing happened. The bar not transparent and not another color. How can I configure this Xposed plugin to make it work? Or is there a replacement of this plugin?
Sorry for my English

You need to install the Xposed framework before using any Xposed themes or mods.

I have installed and Xposed Framework, and Tinted Status Bar. Nothing else is installed
I have also installed tinted status bar beta. When i open any app it does not change the color of the status bar instantly but when i re- open the app after minimizing it i.e from the recent tasks then it changes the color of the status bar .
Please help.
hello,
I really do not like stock status bar icons.
I use the touchwiz and I'm fine, I do not want to change it, but just change the status bar.
I prefer ios or huawei style icons.
is there any working method (with nougat)?
Yes. Install Xposed and install "Flat Style Bar Indicators" module. Its amazing.

you can change status bar icons, and clock location(to center, like iOS) using substratum Theme engine.
