Hi, I'm in South America with a relay 4g running teamapexq 1017 CM10.2 nightly. When losing signal with Tmobile in the US inside a building, the relay would reconnect when in range again. I'm in Argentina which is famous for its bad and overstretched cell network. When disconnected (after entering the subway, etc.) the relay does not reconnect. This didn't happen with stock. Any advice?
Thanks~!

Okay recently my phone has had some really bad signal issues in parts that I always had the best signal. Now it roams and sometimes has no signal at all. I have the Heinz Rom loaded on my phone. One thing is though I live about 40-50 miles away from Joplin where the tornado recently hit. Well in Joplin was the main central hub for U.S. Cellular in southwest Missouri. Is it a chance that the loss of that building in the tornado could have effected the signals around Joplin areas.
Yes it could be that. I had a similar issue in are area when there where floods n high storms the tower cells were damaged and noticed low bars
Well i just got word that the reason why signal is messed up. The joplin US Cellular store was the main hub for the connections of the towers where I live. So when it got hit the towers are only working partially now till they find a fix for it :/
Hi guys,
I have bought a (new) refurbished HTC One S from china at a very good price but it has a problem:
When I enable 3g, the network signal drops to zero and the phone turns off immediately.
I went to another city (bigger) and there it worked with 3g enabled, but with bad signal. When I left the city, signal dropped to zero and phone turned off.
In my town I've never had signal issues with other phones, with 3g.
In "only gsm" mode, it works perfectly, with signal between -63 and -90 db.
I tried all European RUU's and many custom roms, the problem remains the same.
What do you think? Hardware problem at final amplifier? (3g consumption is bigger I think).
I've tried also with elementalX with extra voltage or overclock. No results.
Hello,
My girlfriend and I are on Koodo network (a Telus MVNO) and we have issue with signal reception in our house. Both phones were getting good signal with others carriers (Rogers and Videotron). According to the coverage map at the Koodo store, we should get strong LTE/HSPA signal in our neighborhood, which is the case, but unfortunately when we are inside our house, the signal drop to -110dBm (0-1 bar) and even no signal at all in some areas of the house. We get descent signal reception right outside our house (around -80dBm 3-4 bars).
What I would like to do is to take that signal from the outside and bring it inside the house so we can use our cell phones at home and get rid of our land line. I need your help to determine which repeater/booster I should use. We don't really care having LTE data inside the house because we already have high-speed internet trough a wifi router, only being able to make/receive calls would be fine.
I'm looking for something priced below 200$-250$. I can do the installation myself without any problem (i.e installing an antenna on the roof if required). I found that one: http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=8950334&CatId=4977
not sure if it suited for our needs. Afaik, Koodo use 800/1900 MHz for HSPA and 1700/2100 for LTE
Any suggestions/personal experience/advices would be appreciated. Changing carrier is not an option atm.
Yep,just install a booster,it'll help.

I picked my phone up from my local Samsung Repair Centre last weekend and my phone signal has been very poor since. Is it possible something else could have been disturbed during a camera repair? I'm having trouble just sending texts, let alone browse the web, the majority of times I look at my phone it's either 'Emergency Calls Only', or no network at all.
I had my SIM card in a Nexus 4 whilst waiting for the S6 to come back, could poor signal be on the Network side due to this switch? Is there any way to test possible causes, any useful apps for troubleshooting?
Hi,
When i got my S6 i had very poor reception. The solution for me was to switch from 4g to 3g. Settings-Mobile Networks-Network Mode-switch to 3G/2G (auto connect). Now i don't have 4g but i have full signal. I hope this helps.

Having an issue with my phone constatnly loosing connection, looks like it looses LTE connection, and then connects to 3G after 10-15sec of looking for a signal, then back to LTE in a bit.
It's very often, driving through city it will do that few times in 1 hour.
I can leave phone laying on table at home, and it will do that once in a while, while not even moving the phone.
I tried setting my preffered network to 3G, but it still went to LTE first for some reason.
The same problem
Is there any solution?
