One bug found
When setting widget opacity (background) to 0 % then you cannot see colour of the day background colour at all. To fix it is simple: just colour the day number instead of the current day background grid. Why setting background to 0 %? I hate all apps with white background. My phone have AM OLED display and only light pixels suck my battery - black background is the best.

Full screen on a tablet (rooted Transformer), this calendar (month and day view) is beautiful. Good job. Unfortunately, it FC's when I try to sync Google calendar, but I imagine you'll fix that eventually.

There are many Android time tracking applications on Google Play and we have tried and evaluated many for our own in-house use. Lack of features, idiosyncrasies, instabilities and insufficient compatibility with our way of doing business prevented us from settling down on a single application. Very nice start! This is very promising! I like how you are handling the article listings, with the large thumbnails behind the headline.
A few changes I would make:
* Include an option to group together articles under a single source header. The source headers take a lot of real estate and are very visually distracting due to their brightness.
* make the source headers a outlet more subdued visually, dim the background and the text.
A couple of things I would need to make it a daily driver:
* A dark mode
* A widget
I went ahead and bought the ad free IAP to show my support. Good luck and thank you for sharing your app!

The app gets stuck on the "Initializing" screen on first run. This is with a Nexus 5 and a Galaxy S5 with two different Gmail accounts. Both devices have the same issues, even though TTS is enabled on both (US English).
But when I back out of the app and head back in, it goes into the Accounts Setup screen finally.

Thanks for the idea. But AFAIK the Tasker developer needs to add support for the app. Anyway, I like the idea and will re-check.
EDIT
So I checked - it is possible, there is an open API, meaning this can be done. So, this is a hot candidate for a new feature for the nearest future.

Great idea! What languages are supported?
Hi, the app's language is yet only English. The reading voice language depends on the Settings of your TTS (those are also accessible from the main menu of the app - TTS Settings).

Unfortunately, the app was removed by Google from Play store
I am doing everything to get it back, and here you will find any updates and infos (also here: reader-for-gmail.blogspot.com )
