[Q] Start up Wizard skipping? - General Questions and Answers

Hi,
at first i thought this is my problem http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2518562 got no answer to it though
but later i remembered that I had recently rooted the phone to remove all unwanted pre-loaded apps. I have removed Samsung Apps by mistake. When I factory resetted my phone since it had some bug, I get Startup wizard blank screen after resetting.
Is there a way to bypass this Start Up Wizard?
Please help. Its urgent.

Pseudo Reset after boot loop on i9003 possible solution

hi everyone
Ive been getting Samsung boot loop and my phone semi resets (loose contacts, apn settings, market app crashes) once i take out the battery. I tried flashing many stock Roms but it was happening all over again.
I knew my problem app was Google maps.
My solution to the problem was:
1. i rooted the phone.
2. installed titanium backup
3. with titanium backup i deleted corrupted app (google maps)
4. Do not reinstall previously deleted corrupted app or boot loop will happen again
Hope this can solve you problem
Maurice

If you can boot into Recovery mode, then just try Cf-ROOT by Amit Bagaria.

[Q] Samsung Galaxy S CWM Application Question

Hello everyone,
I searched the forums for awhile but could not find a satifying answer for my question. So i am hoping you guys will have an answer for me.
First of all i would like to point out that i am not looking for an answer for how to unbrick the phone. There are several guides and hopefully when i get home i will be able to fix the problem. *Fingers crossed*
I did not have my Galaxy S for long. After getting it and installing KIES and updating my firmware the battery life what terrible so I rooted the phone and then installed Gingerbread 2.3.6 JVU. it worked like a charm.
Yesterday when I was playing with the CWM application, I decided that i was going to back up the phone and backed it up using the application. This morning one of my programs was acting weird and I decided to restore the backup I have done yesterday.
Upon going into applications and CWM, I chose the restore option and started the process. Everything was going smoothly, the phone was plugged in to the charger as well.
When the phone rebooted after the initial process I am stuck at logo screen. i can go into download mode (That is why I am hoping that I will be able to unbrick it) however that is as far as the phone goes. When I try to go into CWM Recovery mode, I am once again welcomed by the phone getting stuck at logo screen.
Does anyone have any idea as to why this might have happened? To avoid future problems is there any extra steps I should have taken before using the CWM restore function?
Thanks for the help.

Maybe your backup was corrupted somehow. You could have tried wiping the dalvik cache after restoring your backup (before rebooting), but its too late now. Since you can get into download mode, you can easily fix the problem (your device is just soft bricked - nothing to worry too much about).

The phone rebooted automatically. Did not give me the chance to do anything beforehand.
As you said the phone was soft bricked so when i got home that day i just fixed it. No problem. However I am really really into getting to find out how a 1 day old back up can get corrupted.

URGENT HELP NEEDED -- "com.android.systemui has stopped" bootloop -- Verizon LG G3

URGENT HELP NEEDED -- "com.android.systemui has stopped" bootloop -- Verizon LG G3
I apologize in advance if this is posted in the wrong section, but I need some urgent help with my phone. I posted in this section hoping to get some quick responses.
I have a LG G3 with rooted stock 4.4.2 rom running xposed.
So I pulled my phone out of my pocket today only to see the Verizon boot logo in effect. I was thinking "that's weird, guess my phone needed to reboot? Strange." But the only problem is it never stopped. It will only boot up to the lock screen and occasionally it will display an error message telling me the systemui has stopped. Then about 10 seconds later, it reboots itself. It continues this process until I pull the battery.
I've tried booting into safe mode, no luck. It doesn't even actually boot into safe mode (it doesn't say safe mode in the bottom left corner.) Then it just reboots again,
I tried wiping the cache, no luck.
I don't want to just do a factory reset because that hasn't seemed to help anyone else with this issue as far as I've seen. I have not found any helpful information on how to fix this problem.
And no, I haven't changed anything lately that could have messed it up. A couple days ago I cut off some wakeup paths for Google Play Services via Greenify, but I don't think that's the cause of the problem.
My question is, what do I do? I feel lost on this subject. Normally I've always been able to diagnose problems on my own, but not in this situation.
I have all my apps and data backed up to Titanium Backup on my SD card if that's of any relevance.
Any suggestions?
If you can go to CWM just flash abother ROM like android L
Sent from LG L3 via XDA App / Wyslane z LG L3 przez aplikacje XDA

How would I go about doing that with a device that won't boot up?
I'm not familiar with flashing ROMS and things like that.
Ideally, I'd like to be able to fix it and keep the phone the way it was. I understand that may not be possible though

Access Data when stuck in Boot Loop

Hi Guys,
Firstly I'm a Noob and just about rooted my phone been working fine for a year but all of a sudden got stuck in boot loop yesterday. It's a Samsung S4, GT-19505.
Hadn't flashed any new stuff to it was just restarting with xposed framework to log into snapchat which I've done 1000 times before.
I can get into CWM based recovery mode but otherwise can't get phone to boot past Samsung screen.
I will just do a factory reset but there are files on the device I really need so was wondering is there any way of accessing these through the recovery mode or something? Or a way of doing a reset so all system files etc are reset but I don't lose my images, audio files etc?
Any help greatly appreciated. Sorry if some of that doesn't make sense or this post is in wrong section! I looked for older threads with an answer first but couldn't find any.
Thanks,
HB

1) doing a factory reset clears data(excluding internal storage),cache, dalvik so it's highly unlikely you would lose any if your files.
2)you can connect your phone to pc via USB ,then enable mtp mode/mount storage in settings and can access your data through PC .

When connected to Wifi apps download and install automatically

I have a Sprint Samsung Galaxy SPH-P500 Android ver. 4.1.2 Build JZO54K.P500VPBMB3 Kernel 3.0.31-929664.
It was never activated. I tried to have Ting and Sprint activate but both were unable to. One day it started downloading an upgrade. Since then every time I connect to Wifi it downloads and installs dozens of apps. I have uninstalled them and have done a factory reset 3 times. I have installed Malwarebytes but it doesn't find any malware. Nothing I do seems to stop the downloads. So many apps are downloaded it makes it hard to use the tablet and it slows it down. This tablet was rooted before trying to activate and I thought that may be the reason we couldn't so I unrooted it. I have tried to root it again but it won't root. I have tried to boot into safe mode but it doesn't work by holding the power and volume down buttons. When Ting was troubleshooting, they had me use the calculator to boot into the safe mode but I forgot how we did it. I think I may need to flash the factory rom but I not quite sure where to start. Please help!! I am just learning where things are on the tablet even though I have had it for a couple of years so please don't use too technical terms.
Thanks

Thanks for your reply. Is this Google Play Store that does this? Sorry to be a noob but how do I get to parameters to disable this.
Thanks for your patience.
start google play (not wifi connected)
choose parameters option
regards
I have rooted the tablet with Kingroot and have uninstalled or disabled almost everything, but still have the issue. Everytime I connect to wifi, apps are downloaded and installed automatically. Does anyone have any suggestions? If I should install the factory rom, please direct me to where I can get the file and the directions to install. Thanks
OK
Thanks for all the suggestions. Nothing is working. Now when I turn off Wifi, after a second of two, it comes back on so I can't stop all the apps from downloading and installing. The apps use all my memory so if I try to do anything the tablet is slow and there is always some screen popping up. If I install the factory rom, will that get rid of everything and put it back to original? Doing a factory reset doesn't help.
