In my spare time I've mod systemui with this guide Transparent status bar.
This MOD base on CM10.2 build 24/10. I don't know if its work with other builds.
Backup before flashing.
1. Go to CWM
2. install zip
3. reboot
if you want to back to the black statusbar. just flash the attached file.
It work perfect with Xposed + Tinted Status bar. Give it a try.

It is not a bug. Its because the apps drawing white statbar. So that, transparent statbar become white.
Use xposed module + Tinted Status Bar. Will be so great.

Now you can install through CWM and it also installs AOSP Lockscreen(Tested on 4.1.2 EU).
To download - Remove the parentheses of the links and delete the spaces.
To install-Enter CWM,then go to install zip from (place where the file is),select it and choose yes.Wait for it to install (About 3 seconds) and reboot.

hitted thanks bro. however i got this issue where data indicator next to the signal bar does not indicate if ur on edge,3g or H. the arrow up/down (upload/download) next to the signal bar is not showing up do it would be hard to know if u are really connected to the net or if data is active.

The status bar will go back to its original state. Because stock framework was not modified.
I re-install Gimlo this morning. After that I Flash mod from Nathan, djejey and Ryan. But after that i don't see SmallApp anymore. Here's the picture
P/s: Before re-install Gimlo, SmallApp still work fine

Maybe the mod you flashed wrote over the status bar(SystemUI.apk) which is compatible with Small Apps.
Try to replace SystemUI.apk with the one provided by Gimlo(Extract it from GImlo's zip and put it into /system/app/),set right permissions and reboot.
I just wonder what status bar to install to make SmallAps working!? I've been using stock status bar+ power toggles, works perfectly, but task_switch is also stock . . .

1.To get S5 feel you need to edit your build prop or else your dropdown panel will look weird.
2. Use Wanam Xposed/theme and set the following colour codes.
Header background: ff006379

INSTRUCTION
1. Make sure you made a nandroid backup.
2. Copy systemui.apk to system/priv-app. Set permission. Reboot.
3. Make sure that you have STOCK ORIGINAL framework-res.apl installed. Download and flash the above zip via custom recovery.
