[INFO] Looking for smart help - General Questions and Answers

Hi guys, first of all thank you for your contribution to this technology which is fastly gaining a strong role in our time mostly thanks to you and due to the strong innovative process that it has as a main difference from the let's say the last "wheel".
For this reason I am looking for some help, I have got some ideas wich I would like to develop, but are quite difficult at least for me ( I study management and I know just a bit of c++) that's why I am asking to you. If someone is interested in a smart idea, which could be an interesting technical challange let me know.
You can contact me here, by pm or by email.
Thank you so much for your contribution in general.
I'm sorry with the mod if I had post in the wrong section

New site dedicated to helping Android noobs.

Seeing as this site can be a bit advanced at times, I've decided to launch a site dedicated to helping all the noobs out there, and really laying things out in layman's terms if necessary.
What I'm looking for is people who could possibly help in any way, be it a developer, themer, or just someone with some spare time.
PM me for more info.
I'm one of these noobs that would benefit greatly from something like this

appologies from Brudis1

Hey guys, brudis1 here. it has been brought to my attention by a good friend that I may have offended some or all of the members of this forum due to my choice of words when I asked about security in an earlier thread. I would like to appologize to anyone that I may have offended by my question... it was not my intention to offend, disrespect, and surely not to accuse anyone, I'm just a newb at all this stuff and really excited about my new evo and all the really cool things I would like to do with it...I really appreciate all the help that I've recieved thus far and only ment to ask the security question in a genaral sense... I know that there are tons of "Awesome" developers on this forum and I can only dream of learning how to do some of the things I've seen you guys do..So to all the developers that get a change to read this; I appologize with great humbleness for putting my foot in my mouth. I know all of you put in a great deal of work on helping folks out like who obviously don't a *#@%& thing about this type of community... so Flame me or whatever you guys call it (I deserve it man!) but I would still like to recieve whatever type of helpful pointers anyone would like to provide.
Well, the fact that you have posted this apology shows maturity and a good attitude, I applaud you for that.
I don't know the circumstances you talk of, but that doesn't matter. We all get excited and hyped up when we get a new "toy" and want to get to know as much about it as possible, so it's understandable.
XDA is a simply amazing place to learn about Windows Mobile or Android, or any common pda/smartphone. You'll find the more you participate in discussions and play with new roms and applications, the more you'll learn...but most importantly, make sure you have fun
Thanks
I appreciate the response, it is encouraging to see that someone understands where I'm coming from.. this is the first response I've had in around 7 different posts sinse I asked about the security of my phone after rooting it and trying new roms... Considering the fact that I use my phone for online banking sometimes, I realize I should have formed my question a little more tactfully instead of asking what's to keep a developer from creating some kind of back door in some of the developements to have access to other folks' information... After reading the rules and just observing the great respect and credibility among the members of this forum, I'm kind of ashamed to have even asked a question like but anyways that neither here or there...again, I do appreciate your response.
Thanks a bunch!

My little Tiff

All you developers or programmers I know are tired of the same old questions but you guys give answers as if we're all in developers school. You assume too much. When someones a noobie please be gentle and direct us or teach us. We're inspired by you so when you snap at us with comments, we take it or at least I take it as if your all conceided. You guys started as noobs too. We want to learn thats why we're all on this site because there are so many good programmers and good people on here. I love the stuff I see on here, all the ideas and the help that we do receive but once in a while I see chopped up advice that confuses me at least. I would love to be a programmer and developer and it wouldn't bother me to teach a noobie who is willing to learn.
Sorry but thats my little tiff. But its all true.

[Help) Can anyone point me in the right direction?

I am new to the world of android development since I have learned what rooting is, how it can be used, and the potential to help others is unlimited in the world of development. I am looking to start a career in the world of development, and Android development has me extremely interested in what I can possibly do with such a useful and necessary skill set. I know basically nothing at all, but I can read fairly well and follow basic instructions within a set of guidelines. I am sure most of the developers that post in xda forums are busy with actual careers and lives of their own, but if anyone is willing to teach me what I should know to become a developer, I would be extremely appreciative. I am looking to learn the basics of how android works, how devices communicate, how apps are made and interpreted by the operating systems that use them, and much more. Anything is helpful, even if someone can teach me which questions I should actually be asking. Needless to say that this is kind of embarrassing to be asking, but someone Please teach me if your time permits. Everyone has been extremely helpful and understanding. Help me work next to some great minds so I can hopefully reach the same level myself. Thanks to everyone reading this.
