Hey guys,
I installed the stock android browser on my nexus 5 (running stock 4.4). Normally on my N4 I would enable the quick thumbs feature to get the full screen effect. However on this phone the top 1" going down has a glitch-like effect. I was wondering if anyone knew a solution to this fix?
I've searched all over the internet including this site for a solution, so forgive me if this is a double post.
Thanks for your help

Hey there guys, Before you guys start bashing for me not searching, I have tried and sadly to no avail have found a fix. Based on my observations, it only happens in a certain area of the screen, before It had 3 invisible fingers locking to it, now its just 1 and different. I also noticed it only starts after using the Stock browser or Chrome, with the stock browser, it starts near the front cam part of the screen while with Chrome, its near the corner. I have taken a video with visual touch feedbacks enabled.
Anyone know how to fix it?

Hi there,
I searched for this but could not find anything, so my apology if I overlooked it somewhere.
Just bought my Galaxy SIII through Verizon, Android version 4.0.4 ICS. Everything is still stock except for changing the wallpapers on the homescreen and lock screen (both different). Here's my issue and it seems to be off and on. If I hit the home button, regardless of whatever app or screen I am on, the wallpaper will glitch and seem to "offset" itself for a brief moment. This results in some blurred/granular stuff on each side. So far I've turned off the animation and transitions in the developer option, and turned off S Voice wake up when hitting the home button twice. I also tried reverting my wallpapers back to the stock wallpaper. Nothing has seemed to fix this problem as of yet. It's not lagging the phone performance, but it's annoying and look like ****.
Anybodye give me some help on how to address/fix this issue? Thanks in advance for any help.
Tom
Anybody??
I recently purchased an Equiso from Walmart (GK802 not sold locally) and today I decided to connect it to a touchscreen monitor. Surprisingly not only did the audio over HDMI work but so did touch input!!!
My only problem is that when I touch the screen, a circle pops up and clicks can only be registered in that circle. I can drag the circle around to make clicks, but typing and normal android input functionality is wasted at that point. I've run throw settings looking for something unusual to turn on or off, but have found nothing.

I'm hoping that this maybe be a normal part of Android development and easily turned off in the build prop or removal/addition of some other file.
I know the Equiso isn't talked about in these forums very much, but any android based help would be appreciated.

I have been using the PIN login screen since I first received Nexus 5 running 4.4, and everything feels normal. With no roots or unlock or any modifications done to the phone (well except enabling the built-in encryption from the phone)
Right after I side loaded 4.4.1, rebooted the phone, allowed the phone to self-optimize, I noticed that when I try to type in my PIN at the login screen, there is this annoying and consistent slight delay between when my finger touch the number, and when the circular dot appears (along with the sound of touch clicking).
I can't quite put my finger on it though, because the regular keyboard usage works just as expected after I login, but the PIN login just seems a little chocked up under 4.4.1
Anyway, I searched online, and I can't seem to find any existing threads. Maybe I am the one person experiencing this issue. Does any one of you experience something similar?
I already tried rebooting the device (and even cold booting the device), same result.
I've used pin unlock since I got my N5 and I'm still on 4.4 not updated and it has the delay when typing on touch pad. So it's nothing to do with the update..
But yeah it is annoyingly slow

I have the same problem as above
Hello XDA-Community!
Im having some trouble with my new Nexus 5. The screen randomly starts to "shake" sometimes when im using it. I dont know if i can explain it well ^^', if you search "Nexus 5 screen shaking" on YouTube you find similar results. But my Problem is not so hard like the Problem of them. Actually my Nexus 5 shakes sometimes when I turn it into Landscape mode or use an emulator (DraStic). It also happened once while i was trying out Minecraft on the Nexus. Mostly it works perfectly but if it happens, it annoys me. I dont know if that happened on previous versions^^, cuz when I received my Nexus, i just "restored" all Apps with that function that u get when you first turn on you'r device after typing in your Google Account. Then i just updated and updated. First to Android 4.4.2 i think, then to 4.4.3, then to 4.4.4 and then finally to Android 5.0 Lollipop. After every Update my Apps were "optimized" for the new Version, guess that's good. I tried to clear the Cache but nothing Special happened. I just hope that thats a Software Problem and not a Hardware Problem, due that Lollipop has some bugs now.
Could you help me fixing it^^, hope you can ;D!
Regards,
Felix
