I have 4 phones on my account
2x sgs3 (unlimited data)
and 2 droid X's (unlimited data) all on the same plan
the 2 DX's are my parents. phones. I would like to upgrade them to a 4g phone.
I am planning to buy outright the new phones (new to them), so I can keep the unlimited plan
my question is how do i get the sim cards for the new phones? (like if i bought them used from someone)
since the dx didn't use sim cards.
do i just go to vzw and ask for 2 sim cards? will they charge me?

They won't charge you. You buy the phone and have them transfer it to the number you want, and they'll give you the needed sim card for free.

I planning to get this plan after my dad family plan is out in 2 month. I not very knowledge on t mobile plan about this 30 buck unlimited text and web( 4gb 4g plan), just seem to be true good.
I have few question to ask:
1) Does it so work if I just buy the sim card from amazon (hopefully) or t mobile? I have my own cell phone t mobile Samsung galaxy s and I cant afford the 400 buck prepaid phone that come with the sim plan. I am asking because all the research I been doing was from 2011 ( claim that it work only with sim) and now it 2012 with no new information if this so work. I planning to get it amazon(If it work) but I can go for t mobile (according to people in 2011 comment that you more likely to receive a broken sim card) for buying a new sim card.
2) if it does work, can I active right now without interfering my dad plan or my plan connecting to my dad plan ( I on a free ride with t mobile 2 month before he cut it off and switch to at&t), my dad internet plan is not unlimited and I dont want to go over it. I only have 1 phone and for some reason t mobile have an image of my phone information up on there site, so I dont know if my phone can only be use 1 time .
3) How easy is to active the plan? DO I need contact tmobile and what do I say or can it all be done online? Will it ask me for the EMI because I dont have a prepaid phone or the box come with my galaxy.
I think this is pretty much it. I may ask some more question if anything come up.
I have a Droid Charge and have an unlimited plan with verizon. If I buy another smartphone for example the Galaxy Nexus on ebay can I transfer my phone number to that phone and still keep my unlimited data plan?

Yes, it will work fine. You can registered your new phone and keep your unlimited plan.
I think the Nexus uses a micro-SIM instead of a regular, so you will need a new SIM provisioned, but they shouldn't give you any trouble about that. Just go into the store and they should give you one on the spot at no charge.
Hope this is the right place to post ..
I used their prepaid plan about three months ago to test out their service for a month but never saw that unlimited, 5 GB plan for $30. I signed on for the $50 plan. My contract with Verizon ends next month and I plan on switching.
I noticed it says new activations only, so I can't do that anymore?
I still have my sim card from them, I just haven't refilled it. Can I just deactivate my current account and buy another sim card from them? Or since my family are all deciding to switch, just give them my simcard + phone and buy a new one?

Yes, they all use an regular sim card( the biggest one)
Just an advice, they are a lot more better android phones than the Atirx 2 , you could get a LG Optimus G, Atrix HD, galaxy s3 for free right now if you renew your mom's contract
Hi xda Q&A! This is my first post and I'm ready for a lot of slaps, let's go.
So recently I have transitioned from a AT&T GoPhone Z222 to a Nexus 5. My plan for the GoPhone is the pay as you go, 10c plan. The GoPhone has the big SIM card while the Nexus 5 has the micro SIM card. I'm also worried that my Pay as You Go (10c) plan will get cut off when I switch phones because the Nexus 5 is a smartphone. Also, I only plan to use the text & call feature, no data plan for me, so I want to keep my plan.
I have some questions with my transition:
1. What is the best action to take to get a micro SIM card? Like, should I go to an AT&T store and get that changed or should I buy one of those cutters for the SIM card, in order to make a micro SIM card? Is there any other alternatives?
2. For my data plan, is there a way to keep my plan from changing? Will A&T& switch my phone plan from Pay as You Go to their smartphone prepaid service?
Thank you!
