If your device boots into cwm so you are not in a hard brick, you can flash any other version of cwm like 5.5.0.4 or 6.0.1.2

To install CWM or other custom recovery your device need to be rooted and maybe bootloader unlocked(not sure about bootloader unlocked required or not). so, first thing first. First device should be rooted....
i don't know about deleting "install-recovery.sh" file.
While installing custom recovery u should remove the battery at the time of system restart when odin shows PASS message.. :good:

How did you flash cwm? With a computer or with an app on your phone like recovery tools?
First in cwm try a factory reset, if that doesn't work, factory reset and then re flash the ROM you were running.
Also please post your galaxy core specs including which android version your on, thank you.
