[Request] Notification Toggles? - Nexus 5 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Wondering if there is a way to get toggles on notifications screen. Tried power toggles, notification toggles, etc and they all make me add an icon on the status bar otherwise it won't pin the toggles on the notification window.
If anyone has made a mod for this, let me know!
Cheers!

What's the exact requirement? What about quick tiles?

With power toggles you can add a transparent icon. That's what I use.

Go reinstall Notification Toggle, go to Settings /Notification Priority , select 1. And you're done, no more persistent icon in your status bar.

Yea it's just that I didn't like the fact that every notification coming through would push my toggles down.
I should've been more clear about what I was looking for.
No status bar icon + toggles pinned (preferably a mod for this would be awesome)

I use Widgetsoid on my (rooted) N5 to display toogles in the notification bar. Per default there is an icon displayed in the status bar, but you can switch it off without any negative effects in the options. Works well for me.

I've used this app in the past as well, works great. Haven't used it on the n5 though.

If I understand the OP's question, then MoreQuicklyPanel seems to exactly fit the bill.

To confirm. Do you just run the installer in the apk and go from there?

So the link provided in the OP says that this MOD works if you have the FRAMEWORK installed....I don't want to install any framework. I just want my stock look....for now, lol.

Yes..its posted in the instructions in the link I gave you.
Its pretty cool because now you can customize everything from change the carrier name on the lock screen to removing the am/pm in the status bar with the press of a button..

Really..all u have to do is download the app..open it..press install/update and reboot and thats it..the customizations are for stock. It doesn't change the look..just adds and remove certain features. If you don't like then dont change it.
Thanks. Doesn't look like it works on Free Rom.
Followed the directions and the changes don't stick after rebooting.
Never mind. It works. I forgot to enable the mod.

You should have installed 2 apps "xposed installer" & "nottach xposed". Open the "exposed install" app..hit "install/update" under the Frameworks side..on the top right side you should see "Modules"..enable "Nottach exposed". Then reboot. Now open the Nottach Exposed app and start customizing.
Its cool that things are starting to work across different variants and carriers. Hopefully ROMs and kernel won't be far behind.
I guess i was trying to make too many changes but nottach crashed on me. i had to clear app cache and data then clear framework and reinstalled and make changes again. just fyi if it happened when i had changed the color on status bar, changed the notification window colors. Then i tried changing to notification bar color and thats when it rebooted with default colors
thanks for this! This solved so many things I found annoying about this phone. The 100% charge notification??? Ugh!!! And more! here's my modded drop-down notification drawer. I changed the colors and transparency. I think it looks great!
The one thing I did notice was that the Circle Battery mod didn't work after a reboot.

Thanks, but wait. What's Viper ROM? I've never heard of such a ROM for our device.

Where is battery percentage??

I can't find the setting in settings. Anyone?

Are you talking about having the battery percentage with the icon on the status bar? Stock Android (and in this case mostly stock) doesn't have that option. You can use what I use, power toggles, to have it pinned on the left side of the status bar. Not the greatest set up but for now it's all we got. Another reason why I really hope we see an unlocked boot loader so we can get some roms that will have this feature. :good:
Or you can two finger swipe down on the notification bar and it will show your percentage
Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk 2
Yes, that's what I was talking about... I added power toggles and put up top. Thanks

Looking for a ROM with these features

I'd donate a few bucks to the first ROM I can find that have ALL of these features.
I'm stuck between one or antoher because one ROM will have some, and the other has the other few.
Kitkat 4.4.2
Clear all Recents button
- Option to select which side
Status bar that when can be pulled down, can be swipe from quick settings to notifications
Navbar Ring Shortcuts with working longpress
- Torch as one of the options
Option for volume buttons to control media instead of sound.
If anyone knows of a ROM that has all of these, please let me know.
Would greatly appreciate any developer who could include all of these options.
Thanks
Try the Xposed Framework w/ the GravityBox Module (for KK).
If you are rooted then you can install the xposed module and then Gravity box to enable all these features on stock
+agree, just go Gravity Box route. You won't be disappointed. .
I downloaded it but Gravity box doesn't have any feature for changing navigation bar ring shortcuts, the ability to swipe the status bar left or right to change it, or to use the volume keys to change media sound instead of ringer.
So, that didn't work out so well.
I'm gonna try gravity box

It doesn't do swipe notifications / quick tiles whichvis a shame. You could always request it in gravity box thread. I miss this feature. However, I am making do with quick pull down.

[Q] Toggle button for quick toggles?

I have Gravitybox and Xperia Flip Settings installed, which is great, but if I already have the notification bar pulled down I can't change between the notifications and the toggles.
So basically I'd like to know if I can have this button on Xperia L: http://imgur.com/330kKaT
It doesn't have to be this button, but something that makes it possible to change between the toggles and notifications just like what that button would do.
Yeah the Last option in statusbar >Quick seeting, u can chose side (left or rigth) to pull noti bar or the Quick seetings.

Maybe you can try pulling down from left side or right side to get the toggles!!

I have that option enabled, but I often forgot that I wanted to pull down the quick toggles, and when I've already pulled down the notifications I can't change it to the toggles, so I have to swipe the notifitacions back and pull down again from the right side of the screen.
It's not really a time-consuming task, but it's kinda annoying since it happens to me so often.

For that you can use Antek quick settings it will allow you to save a few seconds as u can pull quick settings over the notification!!

Status/Notification Bar Disappears and reappears often....

My status bar keeps disappearing and reappearing for some strange reason. It's a rolling motion. Anyone know why this happens?
I have xposed installed and nova launcher.
Thanks

Nova Settings / Look & feel / Notification Bar - make sure that Show Notification Bar is toggled to on. If that doesn't resolve the issue I would say check any of your exposed modules that might effect your status bar. Hope that helps.
