I notice a little change to my device.

What, exactly, does this app do to speed up the SD card? We're suspicious because you provide no details, only wild claims that defy physics.

What makes this app any different than the app posted in THIS THREAD ( see post #563/564 for app ) other than yours was released a day later and has a different app name?
Does it allow user to restore SD card cache to default settings (128kb)?

I'm also wondering if this does anything more than adjust the read_ahead_kb value... my guess is not

Well, this is just an app which works with read_ahead_kb value. No secrets.
I don't think i did wild claims. I just wrote what's been possible in the best case.

Yes, of course!
Well, i just found this idea and noticed there is only a shell script available. A app provides a better way for everybody (Not just for adb/Shell experts)

THere is no difference for me, the application works but i don't feel anything better neither worst.
I have a Samsung µSD Classe 2, 4 GB.

I consider that optimum value for a card 2 class - 3072

does it survive a reboot ?? it seems that all apps which does this dont survive after reboot you always have to re-set the app to your desired speed.

[APP] Internet Booster Hack any ROM to speed up the internet

Hi all , well i found i linux tweak long ago i use it and worked well im not sure why not many people use this tweak on every ROM, you have some improvements in your internet connection. so thats why i made this "tweak" available for all and no need "flash" the zip.
this work its based on a know linux tweak in fact it was discussed right here on XDA the code i use to base this app its here:

so this app will make a backup (just in case) and you can remove the patch if you want, ( you can do it using an editor tho) perhaps i think its easier in the app.
the non rooted button ATM only close the browser i found if you restart your browser you can have some improvement, but anyway the interesting in this its the patch.
THE PATCH its only FOR ROOT USERS!!!!!!!!!

Just did a quick test. Without patch 9.85Mbps down and 5.98 up. With patch 9.55 down and 2.76 up. I will try again later tonight when the network isn't being used as much (Atlanta).

Very well done! (5 Stars by me in Play Store)
runs fine on SGS i9000 - ICS 4.04 tab UI,
POV mobii TEGRA - VegaCream Beta2 Test2 and Nook Color - CM7.2;
both WiFi an 3g connections with Stock Browser seem to be much faster!
High Speed also in Google Play Store now!
Wow - Netflix is superfast now HD at first second!

Try it, for me works well, perhaps not to all depend of your ROM check the thread in the op reporting several guys working ;D it does not mess with your ROM so it's safe, no issues so far, and you can easy remove it

in the op there is a thread that discuss this,

in summary this is a Tweak based on linux, in fact if you search you can find this is a "know" linux tweak that can be used to accelerate speed transfer over tcp/ip
this its on a file in /system/etc/sysctl.conf
actually you can copy and paste the file from you PC to your phone but i made it easier. so just create this file to try accelerate data transfer

i tried with speed test and sometimes internet it's faster with the patch and sometimes is slower hahahah

hi all just started playing with app inventor and made this very simple app
please check it out and let me know what you think and some additions i could add.
Instructions:
1. Download
2. Place on SDcard
3. use file explorer to install (astro or es file explorer are good)

Tested on ZTE Blade. Works, but sometimes when surfing in the menu back and forth senselessly it will throw an error.

Hi,
I want to recommend you all on the Application that change my driving.
I use this app for 5 days and I already can't drive without this app and I can't understand how I mange before, without this amazing app.
My S3 screen is not locked while I drive, the app interfaces with the BlueTooth perfectly, I whistle to answer my incoming call (hands free) and most important I call my favorite contacts with just one click and the UI is just beautiful.
I feel my driving safety upgraded by far. I am not troubled or distracted by the phone and I use the phone while I drive just with one click.
The app skilled developer "Itayg" from this XDA Forums is always free to answer questions and support the users quickly.
