I am in a big trouble, my HTC One X AT&T Evita is not working and going into boot loop it stucks at the HTC screen which says quite brilliantly. To Give you the background of what has happened is basically i made a stupidity. I unlocked bootloader and rooted my phone and then i have tried installing the CyanogenMod ROM onto my phone. and since then it is in boot loop mod. yesterday i was able to go to recovery and was able to do load of thing but now even that is not possible. I now can only able to go to Fastboot.
my phone has HBOOT 1.14.0002
Evita S-ON
Radio-0-19as.32.09.11_2
please guy please someone help me i can't stay without my phone. and i am absolutely new to android because of which i made this stupidity. however could help me please explain me in brief.

In my limited experience, boot loops are often caused by problems with the boot.img. You could try to extract the boot.img from the CyanogenMod ROM and flash it with fastboot
Code:
fastboot flash boot boot.img

Hi
I flashed clockworksmod recovery on my rooted htc magic manually through terminal application. I restarted the phone to go into recovery so that i can back up my rom. Now it starts go to the rogers screen then it reboots and is stuck into boot loop. I cant get into safe mode. bootloader or anything it just does the same thing no matter what i do. I really need urgent HELP!!!!!

hello guys i have an htc chacha cellphone while i was updating of rooting i think i forget something to do there so my phone is fully died the phone stuck on htc logo
i tried to install cwm but when i press the power button on recovery the phone just stuck again on htc logo
now i can only enter the boot loader
no running system
cant install cwm
cant root
it is unlocked

:laugh: solving is so easy. you flashed system.img but you didnt flash boot.img file. you must flash "boot.img" via fastboot command
Hello!
I don't know what happened but when I booted in to fastboot mode my phone instead of Fastboot restarted itself and is now stuck on non-animated Moto M logo. It's constantly restarting. Even recovery is not loading.
Followed all the steps as provided in the sticky to flash back stock but still.
I tried to unlock bootloader in which I succeeded and flashed TWRP/Philz. Nothing!
Nothing works except fastboot.
Please help sir

I got Philz working, but flashing CM is also booting me back to Philz or any ROM for that matter even the stock.

Hey, my friend gave me a Htc One S to fix. When I try to power it the phone just blinks for a sec, when i charge it after couple minutes the charging batery appears and then i can get into a bootloader ( and only bootloader). Going into recovery boots into bootloader again, reboot results bootloop. I tried to fix it by RUU but an error appears (i dont remember what error). Any ideas ?

Progress ! Finally I got into the recovery (cwm), but every rom or kernel I flash causes only boot loop.
And still I can't turn on phone without any source of power.

Hi! I'm new in this forum and i have a big problem; my A9 i stuck in HTC boot logo and i can only access bootloader and recovery. I can't even power off it because restarts few seconds after; i have tried to flash CM 13 and other ROMS via recovery and also adb but in each case the phone restart and stay stuck... I think could be the boot but i don't know how to solve this... Help me please!!!! :crying::crying::crying::crying:

Run an RUU from HTC's website, then reinstall twrp and try to flash a custom ROM

The problem is that i found that my phone has vodafone uk branding and there is no RUU for 1.62.161.2 on the internet, I'm S-ON so I can't use an older version but either I can't use Sunshine because the phone doesn't boot... I have tried flashing the boot.img of CM13 and it successed but if I try then the ROM.zip same problem....
