I am going to buy an unlocked phone, perhaps something like S G Note II, haven't decided yet. problem is I don't know where to buy, so far my best choice is Amazon.ca.
I've never bought anything this expensive from Amazon, I'm buying this as a gift for a friend and I like to give it to her in holidays. I am not sure what is Amazon Canada's return policy for unlocked cellphones, is it 30 days? or less? can I even return an unlocked phone since they have no warranty?
I like to hear your experiences about shopping from Amazon.ca, do you trust Amazon.ca for such products?

Ebay
Use ebay. Because if you go through paypal you can dispute a claim if it ends up being a bad sale.
Expansys-Usa or Negri or New Egg. If you shop around and wait and look up coupon codes, you can find great deals. For instance you can get a new unlocked canadian nexus off of negri right now for $565 shipped. Overseas customers make Ebay ridiculously expensive. Unlocked Iphones sell for more on Ebay than they do directly from Apple...I don't see how that makes any sense...
Hi guys, I am from Bulgaria and I want to buy HTC 7 Pro. Here this phone is quite expensive so I want to find it somewhere cheaper. Please tell me some resplectable online resellers that have cheap offers for this phone and, of course, they deliver to Bulgaria.
Thanks.
P.S. The device must be new, unused, with warranty of course.
Is there anywhere a MediaMarkt in the near of you, i bought mine in Germany for 229€ in MM. and that's a really good price.
Try Amazon. They must have some stock that they're trying to get rid of or sth cause I got mine for £219 two weeks ago. I couldn't find a better deal even on eBay!
They are back up to around £400 at most places
I'm asking for advise on where to find the most competitive pricing to buy an unlocked Samsung Galaxy S4 (going to be on T-Mobile for bring your own device).
1. I'm currently thinking about Amazon or Amazon wireless (no sales tax for Nevada, US). I'm a bit hesitant because it looks like Amazon itself doesn't sell the cell phone, but their resellers will. Will Samsung still offer their warranty, even if I buy the phone from a reseller on Amazon?
2. Is there any other websites that doesn't have tax for California and/or Nevada for unlocked Samsung Galaxy S4 with competitive prices?
---
On a side note, I'm curious on why the S3 is currently being sold for $669 on Amazon Wireless. The price is a bit steep, no?

Amazon would probably be the best, followed by eBay. You're going to pay a good chunk for it, though, because it's new, and it will be hot, so there will be the whole supply and demand thing to deal with.
You will see the prices of the S3 start to drop the closer to launch of the S4.

Do you know if Samsung will offer their warranty if I purchase the phone through eBay or Amazon resellers?
How's everybody doing?
I'm looking to order an unlocked Z1 Compact either tonight or tomorrow and am wondering the best and most reliable sites to purchase from?
Also, I imagine I lose the Sony warranty with an unlocked Compact because it's not available in the US market right?
Is it a wise idea to buy a SquareSoft 2 year warranty from Ebay or Amazon? I've been trying to research them and am getting mixed results including a lot of complaints of them scamming and semi-scamming on claim attempts, but often the bad reviews and experiences are the loudest and most glaring.
Anybody have experience with any of the following re-sellers?
Negri Electronics
Wireless Everything(through Amazon)
Cells4U
Techno Trading House(through Ebay)
Never-MSRP(through Ebay)
Open to other suggestions of well of course, but I really need to get this in by say Monday, so not looking for any super long wait international shippers unless the price and reliability of the seller was superb, but even then any issues probably mean international return shipping on my dime so I'm a little sketchy on those options.
Sony won't sell them direct to US customers...
Thanks in advance guys, really excited to get this phone!
I'm thinking of buying a Galaxy S6 on eBay to save some money from the T-Mobile pricing. I'd root the phone, fwiw. Is there any reason not to buy a phone from a highly rated seller on eBay? For use in the US, would getting the dual sim version bring potential risks with compatibility of ROMs, including the stock Samsung one?
I see that Amazon has the same international unlocked phones for similar prices. Same situation as those on eBay?
Ultimately, I have no interest in Touch Wiz. I prefer to run a more vanilla Android interface with whatever launcher.
Buy from legit sources. There is a predominance of fake S6 being sold online. Its not worth the few pennies you will save.
Also, beware it is now the 'peak season' for S6 returns. So you're chances of getting a brand new phone are lower. I don't know if the Samsung US site has refurbs but that might be a good choice for a cheap S6. Buying from a carrier has advantages -- easy returns, warranty, etc. If you buy from T-Mobile you opt out of your plan after 2 mos. and they'll unlock the phone in case you didn't know.
Thanks for the input. Sound thinking. I won't go down the needlessly risky road. T-Mobile tells me that they'll unlock the phone after 40 days.
