Hey everyone. I just ordered my Nexus 5 around 3:30 yesterday (November 23, 2013). It says that it will Leave the Warehouse BY December 3rd. That means it could leave earlier than December 3rd right????? I got the 32 GB Black Nexus 5 so when do you guys think it will be here?
Possibly, mine left earlier than the latest ship date

Ok if you don't mind me asking, when did you order yours, and when did it arrive at your house. Also when did it leave Google's warehouse

Nov 1. The ship by date was Nov 22. I got it a week ago. Black 32 just like you. Edit, it left on Fri and I got it last Mon.

Ok so my ship date is December 3rd which is a noticeably shorter time than yours. So I really hope I get it early! Also I know this question is off-topic but how are you finding the battery life on your Nexus 5

The battery is not the greatest but it's good enough for me. I'm always close to a charger. I've also have been doing a lot of flashing and some benchmarking so I'm eating through it pretty quickly.

It's a great device. You'll be happy with it. I'm coming from a s2 skyrocket which had great dev support and this device is even better. If your into messing with the phone it's a dream.

Tomorrow is the 19th.
Should we be expecting the big update...
Any idea's on what it will include in addition to flash ?
I have a feeling it's going to come and go. An their will be no updates.
Most likely they are going to wait a few days and then release a state-
ment that they are working on a major update and as soon as it's done
they will push it out.
I would say, second or third week of Jan. of 2011 for the next patch
from Viewsonic.
Looks like a wait and see ...

Viewsonic hasn't updated their Twitter in two days, and today is a Sunday. I will be very (happily) shocked if we see something today.
I have my device running stock right now (and FC'ing I might add) as I wait....and wait...and wait....

Poor Roebeet. I kinda feel like we should just buy you another tablet just to get these updates. Because running stock just sucks.

This awesome community already did. I just need SEARS to be kind enough to offer up an outlet device that I don't have to fly to, to pick up.
I keep hoping that someone offers a scratched up floor model on eBay, for a deep discount. That would be the perfect dev device for me.

Where in PA are you? I can drive to Freehold and get that one and drive it to you if you are close to me.
I just purchased the one from Novi, MI, purchased one a week ago, and they sent it back, so I couldnt purchase it. So this time I called them right after I ordered it and made sure I get the product, and I'll tell them if its actually broken or not...

There's a Freehold one?? I'm near Trenton. (checks site)
EDIT: Nothing. I've been scanning it on and off all morning. I actually saw a Freehold one about 2 weeks back, but I wasn't looking for an extra one at the time. Too bad, because Freehold is an hour away so definitely do-able.
If there is ANY truth to the Gtablet being pulled by Viewsonic, the CS line will be shut off anytime, within days and they will not bother with the FW release. All of this stuff costs money.

I have never had wireless or FC problems. I guess that is why I was never motivated to install a custom ROM. I just installed all the mods on the original UI.
On a related note. Since this update (supposedly) contains Flash for the g-tablet, should I remove the Flash hack first?

We already have those files (I did look at it) - I can tell by the HTC stuff and other files in there that it's the same Gapps we've been using for the last month.
Just wondering...what time did it hit? The last time i checked was 8:00 pm last night and was no joy.

This is a great little tablet, Viewsonic has to know they screwed up the software. The hardware doesn't seem to be the problem in my book.

It's ALWAYS been the stock fw that wasn't any good. When I first got mine, I had this crazy idea of staying stock, but the original fw would always Force Close in the news page, and then the update resulted in the weather app Force Closing on me, so I moved onto custom fw and settled on TnT lite.
I might even go back to trying stock fw if TnT ever get their act together...
Now, I understand from the 3316(IIRC) thread that flash is still not included, but their website is still claiming that flash support would be released yesterday. (Odd day, Sunday, to release a fw update...)
Hey guys,
I'm currently running CM12 nightly and the touchscreen issues are killing me. Has anybody tried both CM12 and the latest CM11S update? Is the touchscreen any better there? I just don't want to downgrade for nothing.
Thanks

Great! Do you know the Manufacture date?
I started the RMA process last Tuesday. By Wednesday the RMA was initiated, and on Friday TNT (their carrier) called me to schedule a pickup. Since they were using UPS, I opted for a drop off.
Printed all the required documents to export the phone back to Hong Kong, and then I dropped the package with UPS on Saturday morning.
I currently see an order under my OnePlus account, so I guess they'll send me a brand new unit. We'll see!

No where can I find it? Ill post it here when I do.
Also some more updates, the touch is still a bit finicky and its still not as responsive as my nexus 7 or moto G but it is definitely a GREAT improvement over my old phone. Typing works almost flawlessly although at times it lags a bit. I also noticed the Cyanogenmod logo on the back cover is gone

You can probably the touchscreen is fine on the new one. I figured the "lag" I am noticing is due to software issues such as when unlocking the phone. The hardware is much much better than it was before. These issues will probably get fixed in CM12.

It is a tiered rollout usually.. So some may start to get it before we do unfortunately, it has to come to our devices. Though no mention of it being released.

Although I'm usually wary of others claiming "inside contact" knowledge, in this case I'll remain optimistic. The T-Mobile variant is overdue for an update. Absolutely nothing has come through yet since I purchased the phone on Oct 30th. I'm stock and no root/locked bootloader. At this point there's a laundry list of issues that need to be fixed including but not limited to YouTube freezing at 1440p playback and fingerprint scanner w/case on. My phone is paid outright and if T-Mobile doesn't push an update by the time the LG G5 specs are confirmed and the phone is released, AND I'm impressed, I'll have no problem selling this phone for it.

I believe the point was to related to the V10 -- articles from several sites reported that Feb 7th would mark the date that LG phones would start to receive Marshmallow. These phones included our V10 as well as the G4. Not all were going to be getting the update starting on that date, but that's the start date per these sites.

I suppose I agree, however being in the software design "Biz," and recognizing that missing Android 6 should not keep people up at night (understatement), it is far more important that LG gets it right, than if they are perceived as late. This is especially true with a phone is as highly customized as the V10. Also, I think that. 5.1.1 on the V10 is quite stable and fast overall. The upgrade promise was within 6 months of release, which would imply May at the latest. I would be OK with that- again, provided it is bug free, stable and fast.
