SGS4(i9500):SD Card Unexpectedly removed. - Galaxy S 4 General

I have a 32GB Ultra Class 10 SD Card from Sandisk installed in my SGS4 since the day I first bought and since then I had no issue with it until I last updated to Firmware v4.3(I9500XXUEMJ9). I have been receiving notification like, "SD Card Unexpectedly Removed" almost every time the phone wake up from sleep mode and then auto re-mount without any reason. To be clear, the SD Card works fine when used with my laptop or desktop. I dont know for sure as to what the reason is and I hope someone can share some light about my problem here.

SD Card Scanning...infinitely

Wanted to thank the moderators of the board for their time spent here. I've learned a lot. Using a Droid Incredible on VZW network that's rooted and flashed. It works beautifully fast compared to the stock rom, so thanks goes to chingy51o because the Incredibly Re-Enginnerred 2.3.2 works like a dream! Thanks man!
The problem I'm having is when I reboot the phone in normal mode and it starts back up, the notification "Preparing phone storage... Checking for errors..." and it's referring to the SD Card. It does not go away. I've waited for it for about an hour and it doesn't disappear. I can view the contents of the sd card with root explorer and also mount the sd card on my mac and read/write the contents.
The card is a Transcend 16gb class10 card. Brand new yesterday.
I have found a solution, but I'd have to do it every time the phone reboots.
If I go into Settings>SD & Phone Storage and Unmount SD Card then Mount SD Card, the notification goes away.
My question is how can I get the notification to go away w/o doing this every time the phone reboots?
Thanks.

[Q] SD card media scanning issues

I've had this Samsung Captivate since December and just noticed this issue with my SD card. It's a 16gb card that's been in it since I purchased the phone. Recently I looked at my gallery and found that one folder that used to have ~400 pic now has over 4000 pics. Most of these are duplicates. When I connect to the PC and view the folders there are the original 400 or so. No duplicates.
Today I unmounted the card, removed it and remounted it again. Now, in the notification screen it shows "Media scanning... 0 %" for an exceptionally long time trying to scan the media on it. For about 20 minutes. This happened earlier today but eventually came up after I shut the phone off. This time I powered it down and it did the same thing. Just sat there scanning. Then it came up with a red SD card icon stating that the card was full. I am now in the process of transferring everything I can onto my laptop. I guess it wouldn't hurt to reformat the card after that and see if it continues to happen.
After reformatting it, it still did the same thing. Luckily I had an extra 16gb card available. I installed it and transferred all the needed files. It works fine, for now. Don't know why this happened, except possibly that the SD card wore out (?).
Anyone else have a similar situation with either the captivate or SD cards in general?

[Q] MicroSD stopped working

Let me preface this by saying that I recently went a few weeks without using my tablet at all- it hasn't moved from my desk. Everything worked fine before, but I came back to it yesterday and I discovered that the system could no longer read the card. It is a 32 GB Polaroid Class 10 SDHC. When I insert the card, it was showing up in the the notification area, but reporting 0.00B of space, and if I pressed 'unmount' it did nothing, and when I use a file browser, the card doesn't show up at all. This has since progressed to the point where when I insert the card, the 'External storage inserted' notification pops up for half a second, then disappears, and the card doesn't show up at all. I don't have an SD adapter, so I have to wait until tomorrow to test the card in a buddy's phone and see if it can be read at all. Has anyone else had this problem, or know what the cause is?

Sd card corrupt on reboot

I have a class 10 SDHC microsd card from samsung in my galaxy s7. EVERY time I reboot, the card is shown as corrupted. I checked it with my card reader on my PC and not a single error was found.
Note: I noticed that when my device is even the slightest bit warm, this happens during reboot; however, if I turn off my device and let it cool under an air conditioner and then boot it on with the card, it's more likely to detect the microSD card and work as normal.
Anyone face any similar issue?

Either the SD Card is faulty, or you have a defective device... I am using an SD card and never faced such issues.
I have exactly the same problem as you do. Whenever I reboot my phone or unmount the SD-card, the card becomes corrupted. Wondering if buying a new SD-card might solve the problem. Any suggestions?

Have you tried reformatting the microSD card?
Yes, multiple times.

Phone working fine without SD card mounted but not with SD card inserted.

I have infocus m2 phone kitkat 4.4 which has a 16gb class 10 memory card installed. 2 days ago all the applications of my phone stopped responding, even the settings app, reporting it had to close down and all I could do was press ok. When I removed the sd card and rebooted the phone, the network came back and phone is working smoothly just like before though obviously the apps installed on the card aren't working. I have important data on my card and haven't tested it on a pc yet. I connected to free wifi that day when it happened, would that be a reason for this?
