Hi i just bought a Samsung Galaxy Core and i also want to root it. i saw that you successfully rooted yours. can you please tell with which framaroot version and the instructions? thank you!

I have rooted the device using the Framaroot-v1.4.2, Try both explode if the 1st one do not work. I rooted the device using the second explode, can't remember the name of the explode.

How to swap ed exd card?

I tried framaroot 1.4.1/1.4.2 and 1.6 but none of them worked for me. Am i doing something wrong? I have "uknown sources" enabled and usb debuging ON. Tried both aragorn and gandalf exploits but it failed.

I have downloaded Framaroot version 1.6.0 buth this a zip file, no apk.
When i unzipped it wat to do next?

Ok, i found the apk file its rooted now

Used Aragorn exploit
Thanks!!! Rooted my friend's mobile by selecting the Aragorn exploit option. Gandalf exploit did not work.

I used Framaroot 1.9 and yes it worked. Search on the web (in your phone): "FRAMAROOT DOWNLOAD" and just look for a website that you can download an apk of it (usually in file hosting websites like 4shared, 2shared, Zippyshare, etc...)??

Need help on rooting apps for Galaxy core
Hey All,
I had rooted my galaxy core I8262 one year back n now unrooted the phone to upgrade my firmware,
Now im unable to root back my phone using Framaroot or Towelroot apk, it shows that phone not supported.
Any1 got with the solution.

I am unable to root my galaxy core via framaroot (tried all of its versions). It crashes every time i select Gandalf exploit and generates an error on selecting Aragorn exploit. Please tell me another way to root galaxy core as framaroot seems to fail every time

I also had the same problem after the update, but now I managed to root my galaxy core.
Use Baidu root and it will root your galaxy core.
1)Extract the zip
2)Install the apk
3)click on root from your device (ignore some Chinese language) and enjoy
After that install SuperSU and give it superuser rights and delete the superuser application installed by baidu root.
Note- Framaroot, towelroot, vroot and kingo etc dont work anymore after the update, only baidu root does!

ZTE Grand SII (S251) Rooting Guide!!!! (Indian 3G Version)

Hello Everyone!!!!
This is a rooting guide for ZTE Grand SII (S251) which was released in india in the past week.... after trying a number of tools i was successfully able to root the phone, so this is a guide for those who would like to root their phone.... i am not a developer just a power user
1) Connect ur phone to ur pc first time in "Install driver mode" and install the adb drivers first... (Or else you can run setup from the attached file below for installing the drivers for your phone)
2) Once drivers are installed enable "developers Option" in settings and enable "USB debugging"
3) Then download root genius from the attachment below
4) Connect your phone to the pc and select "connect to pc Software" and let the drivers install
5) fire up root genius with administers privileges (you should have internet connection for this)
6) if you have done everything as described above then u should see connected on bottom left of your screen, click i accept agreement and click root and wait....
7) It should take 2 to 3 mins to root using all the possible exploits (internet connection is required for this) and then it should say that you have successfully rooted your phone
8) Once it tells you its successfully rooted close the program disconnect your phone from pc and restart
9) you should see a new program called KingUser in your app drawer (which is like superUser)
10) and Voila!!! your phone is rooted!!!! to confirm this download any free root checker from playstore and check your root privileges.....
NB:
1) You can replace kinguser with super user just by downloading it from the store and installing and updating its binary...... i have taken a backup of kinguser in titanium backup before installing superuser and replacing it as a system app.....
2) You can follow this guide cautiously cause if you brick your phone then i am not responsible..... this has worked for me and hence wanted to share it with the community which has helped me countless times in the past.....
3) if you root your phone your warranty would also void and i am not responsible for the same.....
4) any help or suggestion would definitely help with that

Thx bro... Just trying to help.... Nope a developer needs to port the ROM for our device then only we might get a custom ROM...
The Antutu score is 39554 on v5.1

As of now its not available for our device and frankly have not tried it too, since there is no modder who is ready to work on our device..... have gifted this phone to wife for this sole reason and moved over to OnePlus One....

Guys can you confirm the model number is S251 for the Indian version of ZTE Grand S2. Also did anyone come across stock official firmware for ZTE Grand S2? I was a kernel developer for Xperia ZL previously and I can try porting recovery for our device if anyone could point me to any stock firmware for this device so that I can recover my device incase I brick it.

Yep the Indian Grand s2 model number is S251 and it's only 3g with CDMA unlike the international variant which is 4g lte variant ..... And i have yet to come across a stock firmware and recovery for this device hence am skeptical to flash anything else... Wish u could help us out with a working custom recovery....

I've already received my device and started working on CWM. I was thinking of making a unification thread for all the ZTE Grand S II devices. I'll try doing that but if anyone's willing to do that post the link to that thread here to redirect users. Also I found the stock firmware files for our device so we can always go back to working stock firmware in case anything goes wrong. I'll post link to stock firmware later

Wow... Would really appreciate that.... Just be sure which thread u would be merging because the international variant is completely different (snapdragon 801 whereas ours is 800) would really luv to see the links to stock firmware and recovery...

I downloaded it, but it didnt install. On going through the details on the site it states that it works only on Kitkat devices. Can you confirm how you installed this on your device

Check the official website where you can find a general procedure to root the blackview v3.
this is the link. (can't post the link since is one of my first posts in here.. it's blackviewcellphones blogspot it website, try to find..)
I did it with Kingo Root.
Actually not sure about what i did because it's something automatic and still not sure about what happened to my device since almost nothing changed.
After the procedure i found installed the superuser app and the kingo root agent.
actually nothing changed in terms of usability and performances.
Still a noob about android and rooting, did this procedure because i was trying to enlarge the primary partition memory size because 1gb to install apps is kind of ridiculous. Still trying to do that since i am afraid to brick my phone with the ebr1 and 2 procedure, figuring out how to do it safe.
If you have any idea, please share!

Rooting can always be risky as every method may fail for some reason. I'm pretty sure that iROOT will do a good job, but i can't guarantee for it. Rooting YOUR phone will always be YOUR risk.

you can use unlockroot tool or flash cwm and then try installing a flashable superuser file, rooting is under your risk and follow the steps given.

while in my case , i've root infinix hot note 2 with kingoroot.... its simple app and can root your phone automatically , no PC needed.... just internet needed while rooting..
if it doesn't work.. then try king root , iroot , farmaroot etc...
these apps if cant succeed , will not harm your phone.....

They also have pc versions... like king root , iroot have pc versions also.. so you can try to root with PC.. if can't succeed then head to official/unofficial way to root by searching google...
