Ligux 4.1 Rom - myTouch 4G General

I had to give credit to Coderz for this rom. It is by far one of the most stable and compatible roms I've tried since GB released for the glacier and faux123 hit the scene with his kernels. If anyone is interested in a fast stable and compatible rom. This is it. Cause I noticed (at least before the update. Root Explorer did not work on many of the JB roms. Any, thanks to Coderz and all the devs here. Ur work is appreciated.

Agreed. There is no one size fits all radio. For me, the stock radio is the best, for you it may be different.

Uh oh
so after i installed MIUI with the dual boot app, it asked me if I wanted to boot into it. I am now sitting am my boot screen and it's not budging. I pulled the battery out and tried the volume up and power button but it vibrated a few times and gave me a blinking amber light. I am rebooting and sitting at a boot screen again after pulling the battery. I have ext4 recovery installed as well and cant get to hboot and then recovery. What do i do now?
after trying volume down and power, im good.
Been awhile since I last had to do this
so, what's the deal with the boot issue I had with this app.. Anyone else?

Did you install using ext2? Also did you let it sit long enough? When I first installed a rom, it took around 7 minutes on the white htc screen and then it booted. Its using your sdcard so your first boot is way longer than usual

Yea. I think the big issue is the kernel. I know I've tried to flash LC's sense kernels before with no luck. His aosp ones work fine. It's a crappy time for us since we have no kernel devs anymore.

NextGen Rom, a stock gingerbread(2.3.5) based custom rom.. using it for about 4 months now(feedup on flashing roms again and again :silly:), gingerbread is simple to simplify, good battery life, stable, fast, no problems, it covers my necessity since i dont play games a lot, just calls, txt and internet, GB is enough for me.. but if you want cutting edge android versions as others stated, cm9 and cm10 is worth a try..

If you look how this thread went, you see why we don't allow those comparison threads. They quickly change into a trollfest with some guys promoting their own stuff and others bashing roms and whatever.
