Great, thanks! Flashed cm and kexec kernel, all works good but WiFi isn't working?
Flashed kernel without kexec and Wi-Fi is working.

I'm curious as to why there's talk of a kexec kernel when that's been primarily for safe strap users due to locked boot loaders?

Ah, could you link me to that one?
Please take discussion of third party kernels to those threads. They are off topic here.
I saw another thread which contained a script for CM ROMs. It stated that one of the features it added was support for dual mic. So my question is do the CM ROMs for the Inspire not support the dual mic/noise cancellation out of the box? Are there other features not supported, such as SRS? I checked the change log and did not see any mention of either feature so I'm not sure.
Thanks for any help.
I'm cautiously considering CM7 again, but how is the GPS? The only ROM I've ever gotten it to work on is Revolution.
GPS works fine on my inspire 4g. Locks in seconds.

This is the support thread for CM10 on the Samsung Epic 4G. It's a major work in progress. It may cause all the things in the disclaimer to happen, or steal your girlfriend while you are busy flashing ROMs.
WARNING: If you are not already on an official CM10 build, this will wipe your data due to a resizing of the mtd partitions. If you wish to go back to another ROM, you will need to ODIN back to stock.
Recommended steps before you install:
1. Install AppBak from Market, run it and save a list of all your apps.
2. Install SMS Backup and Restore from Market, run it and backup your SMS history.
3. Install Call Logs Backup and Restore from Market, run it and backup your call log history.
4. Boot into CWM recovery. Make a full Backup. You will need this backup later if you decide to go back to your previous ROM and data.
Additional Disclaimer:
Any bug reports coming from an Unofficial cm10 build, or a modified/patched Official cm10 build (modem patch, kernels, etc.) should be directed to the originating thread. It is hard enough to provide bug support for the official releases without having to worry about bugs that may have been introduced by outside means. Bug reports are very welcome if you can reproduce them after flashing back to an official, stock build. We do want to be able to fix all the things. Thank you.
Nightly Install Instructions (starting from 20120904):
1. Download from get.cm. Pay attention to the filenames. Don't grab a CM9 build by mistake!
2. Reboot into recovery and install.
Nightly Changelog: http://changelog.bbqdroid.org/#epicmtd/cm10/next
Preview Install instructions:
1. Download cm-10-20120901-PREVIEW-epicmtd.zip [Mirror 1] [Mirror 2] md5: 73fd0294a9cd9e18938a3347cc01f09e
2. Reboot into recovery and install.
**Google Apps are not included in these ROMs. You'll need to find those yourself if you want them.
Known Bugs:
- Fixed in nightly 0911 DO NOT adjust the Maximum CPU frequency. (Preview build only)
- Fixed in nightly 0911 Headset mic is not working.
- Wired headset buttons don't do anything.
- Phone may enter deep sleep while on a wall charger (not USB).
- Occassional reboot possibility is present, but it could be days between them, if it happens at all.
First because I had a premonition this would happen five minutes ago.
Welcome
Bugs I am aware of
Before you flash make sure you have the correct modem!!!
If you flash CM10 with non epic modem you will have issues!!!
Flashing CM10 from any other Rom will wipe data!!!
To flash FROM CM10 > TO any other rom will require Odin to repartition!!
Use FC09
Currently the head set Mic does not work.
There are some occasional random reboots.
There is also an issue with how the phone sleeps while on charge.
SWEET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Any known bugs?

Thanks for the amazing works
Specially for bring crespo modem to epic it's a miracle!
One nice feature (although still under review and not yet merged):
Go to Settings -> Performance, and check the option for High end graphics effects. It will give you the cool dimming effect when you pull down the notification screen. It may or may not require a reboot to take effect, I forget.
EDIT: The screen already dims, but this will make the notification pulldown semi-transparent. And yes, requires a reboot to take effect.

I'd recommend you make nandroid and flash it clean. There's still alot of activity happening upstream. For instance I can't seem to get Superuser to grant apps root access and the code review shows Koush made some changes to that just a few hours ago. You'll want the backup just in case you need to go back.
Good joob! i wait.

CM 10.2 builds
CM 11.0 builds
Don't forget to flash gapps:
CM 10.2: CyanogenMod
CM 11.0: Banks Gapps - take the minimal and install the rest from the play store.
(alternatively, you can try CyanogenMod Gapps, but the zip is too big to fit in /system with the ROM)
For CM 11.0 you will also need an SELinux enabled recovery. The following recoveries work:
4Ext Touch Recovery
TeamWin Recovery Project (compiled by yours truly)
Source repo can be found at GitHub.
Prior to installing this ROM, make a nandroid backup and wipe wipe wipe! - generally recommended to wipe all except your SD card.
As a rule you don't need to wipe if you're flashing an update from CM10.2 to CM10.2 or CM11.0 to CM11.0, but if you're encountering issues, it's still recommended.
Please do not mirror!
Also, don't contact me over PM for support - I don't answer questions that way.

Nowhere in this Thread before your post is CM10.1 mentioned, isn´t it?
It says CM10.2, so it is CM10.2
PS: I will try it, ASAP, maybe tomorrow (free day here in germany), because this is a reason for a clean install :victory:
Its android 4.3 - gonna check it out.

Have the Google Maps flickering issues been fixed in this rom? If so, I am going to flash it!

no... still there, I think we have to flood the google maps team with in-app feedbacks about this bad issue
flickering behaviour is really unstable, sometimes it doesn't happen, anyway sadly I saw gmaps flickering with this rom.
audio playing is not distorted... :good:
display not rotating, please confirm.
darn, may not be able to make it until I get off work .. and may not be able to flash it home without hearing "Are you playing with the phone again?!" I'll let you know the impressions
Anyhow, has somebody tried to restore apps via TB on 10.2? Any issues?
Thank you
Restoring via TB - no problem, but dont freeze/delete to many apps atm via TB o.e.
None bugging issues except touckeys not working for me,
/edit fullwipe solved my touchkey problem edit \
those other issues reprted in here are marginal to me or untested.

Hm, no issue with the rotation. Have you checked everywhere that it's enabled? In the ROM and your launcher?
