Is this the moto g forum? I take it it is, but it looks so quiet!
I just got my moto g today 100 quid and I know the phone is very new on the market, but I thought it would have been a lot busier here. Not even the usual nice xda phone specs header on the main page?
Either I am very lucky in getting on of these phones quick or no one is buying them lol.

Today is the first day the Moto G is sold in germany officially, in other countries the same.

The Forum JUST opened which would be why it is so quiet. Also, it is just now being released in several countries. I am excited for when it finally hits the USA and I will probably pick one up!
Too bad the 16GB is not available yet. Btw: here in the Netherlands they ask 199 EUR for 8GB ...

This device has only just been released, you got to wait till January when the US get it available. The flood gates will open then.

Well, some threads already have <15k views. For the forum i cone from it's pretty much + the 16gb version isn't available yet, which is the fact because of I and I think many others are waiting till the availability of this version

Phones4u.. they are the only ones that I could find in the UK that have the phone in the shops...
The other shops just said Moto what? idiots lol.
Anyway because my partner had an orange sim pay as you go it reduced the price to 99,95!!! and free white cover (phone is black) looks gorgeous with the white back and black front
I was shocked it was the last shop I was going to try as there seemed no chance anyone would have it :/ and bingo, they had it.

The dual sim 16 GB is around U$350 on the Motorola website, but you can find it for U$300 in other stores.

If you are orange pay as you go and you have credit on your phone (not sure if it also has to be for a certain amount of time) 'Phones 4u' will upgrade you for 99.95 and gave me a free Moto white clip on case with it...
And it looks fantastic when you take the black back off and replace it with the white one. It looks totally classy! So good it would spoil it to put a cover or bumper on it so hopefully will not have to

Got mine from Tesco, 16gb was £120. Traded-in the old SE WT19i at CEX for a bit of cash as well. Not bad.

However the price difference between the two means it's cheaper to buy from Tesco and pay for an unlock code.

Wouldn't you depend on Tesco for system updates though? Yep, I know this is xda and it's not such a big deal if we can flash ROMs ourselves, but still...
Yeah, it mentions Tesco in the software version.
I'm sure that it wont be hard to replace with the 'unbranded' version though.

The G4 launched in India a month and a half after the US which was the beginning of June. That means mid december if there ever is to be a v10 Indian release. At what price ? 64GB note 5 has a mrp of 60k. So v10 is 50-60k and G4 will be around the 35k mark.
Wait three months for the price to come down, we're in March 2016. Just 3 months away from the G5. Devices with 820 cpu will already be out.

No question. I was also able to snag a $259.00 64 GB Nexus 6 on Amazon's Black Friday deal for my wife. Couldn't pass this MXPE deal even with no motomaker. Plenty of custom cases and wraps to pimp it out later ?

I bought mine on October 29 for 439€ but it was not custom made. Also it was a French import to Portugal in a Portuguese online store, they are selling it now for 455€.

Yeah, I don't think moto maker is worth $150, but I guess it depends on how much you like the custom design.
Bought mine via Amazon on 11/30 for $399 - chatted with them online and asked nicely and they gave me $42.50 refund - not quite the same price but close.

I'm on Straight Talk, using AT&T towers, and I'm unsure if all the XZ3 models support the same bands.

Same model number in the link you posted, but there it's showing 4 gigs of RAM, so I'm assuming the only difference in the ones on eBay is the amount of RAM? Everything else is the same?
Yes, that's correct. I'm on AT&T and have bought several Taiwan version Xperia phones and they all work on AT&T. I bought the XZ2 from Taiwan for the same reason, increased RAM. The ebay seller has also added pictures if the box and you can see the bands listed.

Seriously considering this phone, but if I'm going to be paying this much for one I want the best version I can get. My current OnePlus 3T has 6 gigs of RAM, so I didn't want to pay almost double to get less!
Just want to wait to see what they announce at the new Google Event next week in order to make my final decision. Oh, and I also really want the Bordeaux color if I do go for the Sony, which this seller currently shows as out of stock.
The Bordeaux color is at clove, and cheaper too. Hard choice. A XZ3 for ~750 usd is hard to beat

That is a pretty good price. Still, I can't wrap my head around the fact of paying more for my new phone than the one I'm currently using while the new phone has less RAM.
May wait until closer to the holidays anyway as my current phone isn't having any problems. Might be able to snag some sort of Black Friday/Cyber Monday deal which would make the price even more palatable!
