I was trying to flash recovery via fastboot. Unfortunately, fastboot cannot be detected by Windows nor by Linux.
I've been searching but none of the tricks worked.
So, is there any way I can install/flash recovery via Odin?
Anyone has CWM or TWRP files Odin flashable for Crespo4G?
Thanks

ROM - AOKP 9/16 release
I'm sorry if this has already been asked and I overlooked it during my search. I tried to connect to adb while my device was in CWM recovery and windows see the device but can't find the drivers. I have no issues with adb once the rom is booted but can't connect to it while in CWM. Is there something I'm missing or is adb something that isn't supported on all CWM for all devices.
Anyone have an idea?

I am having this issues as well on the exact same device and CWM version. Any help as to why ADB doesn't detect the device in CWM recovery but does in stock recovery?
My one is stucked with bootloop, i have twrp 2.7.1.1 and mac, can i flash stock rooted 4.4.4/XNPH38R ROM with mac toolkit? It says to use factory image, can i unzip that rom? i don't have a usb otg to use
I had try to put a stock ROM(P5100XXDMD1_P5100OLBDMD1.zip) into external SD then boot to recovery mode but could not install.
I can go both download mode and recovery mode.
Tried Kies and Odin 3.10.7 but could not detect this device bcos of driver issue on Win8.1.
Please do advise. Thank you.
Do you have the last version is Samsung Kies? That program is necessary for the drivers of the device. Do you put the tab in to download mode? Is necessary to install a firmware in your tab from Odin. Do you unzip the file till have other file with .tar.md5 extension? This file go in to AP/PDA on Odin. You cannot install a Samsung firmware on recovery! Those aren't made for flash on recovery,nd reasonably with the stock recovery. You only can install FLASHEABLE zips with a custom recovery (like CWM or TWRP).

I hv latest ver of Kie but once connect to my laptop with win8.1. It could not detect this device. This is why can't flash by Odin yet.
"You only can install FLASHEABLE zips with a custom recovery (like CWM or TWRP)." Can I use Samsung recovery to flash CWM or TWRP for flash another ROM ?
No, you need Odin or heimdall to flash a Custom recovery.
Odin and KIES is not a good combination, might softbrick your device.
Uninstall KIES.
Reboot your PC.
Install Samsung driver: http://developer.samsung.com/technical-doc/view.do?v=T000000117
Now odin should detect your device while being in downloadmode.

Greetings and welcome to assist. As you have wiped your system the phone will not boot. If you are struggling with odin then you can either flash a rom like this
http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s6/development/mod-wanamlite-1-0-t3095155
through twrp or you could try kies emergency firmware recovery if you want to return to stock
Good Luck

Good Evening,
I own a Samsung Grand Neo Plus (GT-I9060i) and I was running a dotOS v1.2, rooted and bootloader unlocked. I recently downloaded an app called Rashr from Play Store to flash a TWRP recovery because i couldn't flash the stock rom in my CWM recovery, after flashing the TWRP img file the phone rebooted and nothing more happened, I tried to go into recovery mode but nothing happen, even doesn't boot into the System, and when i try to flash the stocke frimware and the TWRP recovery with odin the windows says that the USB not recenized even i am allready have all drivers installed and updated and in bootloader mode .. i have another I9060i it works with no problems with Odin and Windows
Now I don't have recovery to flash a Rom and the Windows USB Problem and no System
I just want to fix the USB Problem or just a idea to install any recovery to flash any Rom to get the phone to life again
If anyone can help me i will be very happy,
Thank You

Samsung has download mode, not bootloader mode(kinda the same but not exactly because download mode is not fastboot compatible but devices with bootloader mode are fastboot compatible).
As for the issues you're having, try this thread for troubleshooting a failed Odin flash.
