I have a Touch cruise belgian FR bought on 17/01/2008 with ROM 1.25.406.1 FRE from 12/12/07 and radio version : 1.58.21.23, protocol version: 25.65.30.04H
I don't know if I should upgrade my radio version to v 1.58.25.14 to solve my problem or if I upgrade to this radio maybe I will have more problems ?
In fact, what is and what brings 'radio ROM' ? Is it independant from the ROM language ?
My problem is that everything is working perfectly for a while, and suddenly (even after resetting it with the stylus), it does not propose me anymore to enter my SIM PIN CODE,no GSM network, I can,not open my contacts (I have roughly 3000), nor the agenda (with more than 1000 events)
And also if I try to re-syncronize it with Outlook on my PC via Activesync, it is"syncronization failure" but I can though explore my mobile device in the folders...If I try to solve the error via Activesync help it puts me "Imposible to obtain an IP adress for the device"
Apart of that, eveything else is working...so I have to do a hard reset complet and reinstall everything, I've done it already a few times.
At the beginning I thought it was my Tom Tom and changed it to Mio Map, but it seems to be the same.
Can somebody help me?

Moi, mon problème est que tout fonctionne parfaitement pendant un temps, puis soudain (meme apres reset), il ne me propose plus de rentrer le pin de ma SIM, le réseau GSM ne s'affiche plus, et ni mes 3000 contacts ni mon calendrier (avec plus de 1000 éléments) ne veulent s'ouvrir ! Et si j'essaye de le re-synchroniser avec Outlook sur mon PC via Activesync, il me met "échec de synchronisation", je peux cependant explorer mon appareil...Quand on essaye de résoudre l'erreur via dépannage pour Activesync, il me met "impossible d'obtenir une adresse IP pour l'appareil"
Et je dois faire un reset hard complet et tout réinstaller...j'ai déjà du le faire plusieurs fois.
A part ça tout le reste fonctionne...
Quelqu'un a-t-il une idée?

Well I have a sync problem and to solve it this way:
- save outlook data before.
- remove activesync
- Restart computer
- I have disabled windows firewall f'rom control pannel
- I have stoped Virus scan
- and then repare outlook (via new installation)
- reinstall activesync
And then synchronisation works
Dont forget to reactive F/W virusscan and

Before, I syncronized many times and it was ok to make a search, to call with the cube, now, my contacts in the cube disapeared as well and when I click on contacts or calendar nothing happens, it DOES NOT EVEN OPEN !!

I bought a Kaiser today in Orange version and I wanted to put the Roma official HTC.
I did not quite follow the tutorial to put into super Cid and I shut down before the end of the first stage, therefore, I did not make the last transfer!
So I am stuck on the bootloader (serial), and I can do nothing! None Rom does!
I can not take up the proceedings of the super Cid? I can not with the memory card (hermimg)
Je ne comprends pas bien ton souci, tu as branché ton pda a ton pc, tu l'as syncro, tu as lancé la procédure et il a reboot. Mais si tu n'as pas lancé l'utilitaire d'update il devrait encore être sur le bootloader d'origine.
Pourrais-tu être plus précis ?
Et faire des manipulations comme ça sans lire les instructions c'est très mal !
I do not fully understand your concern, you plugged your pda a ton pc, you have syncro, you have started the procedure and he reboot. But if you do not launched update utility should still be on the original bootloader.
Could you be more specific?
And can manipulate like this without reading the instructions is very bad!

Alors a bien compris ledébut j'ai fait la parti *superCid mais pas complete je n'ai pas fait la parti d'update dutout petit fichier et voila mon erreur. Et j'ai ensuite mi la rom HTC FR et elle a été jusqu'a 16% pui blocage et erreur!
Impossible de remettre ni la Rom offricielle, ni celle d'orange, ni de finir le super CID

So has understood the beginning I made the device * superCid not complete but I did not make the device update dutout small file and voila my mistake. And then I did rom FR HTC, and was up 16% - blocking and error!

Ok so, i don't think i'm enough skilled in flashing htc's for helping him, so here is the point :
He tried to HardSPL his device but he interrupted the installation before the RUU and never did the update. He then tried to flash an official HTC rom, the flash stuck at 16% he interrupted it again and now his device seems to be stuck on the bootloader.
Any ideas ?
PS : i already told him it was really really bad to not read the HowTo

This has happened to me several times in the past. Tell him 1st not to worry or panic. I would imagine there may be several situations that can cause this, so this may not be the only answer. In my case, I noticed that before this happened, activesync would connect and disconnect seemingly for no reason. So, I surmized that they could be related and persisted by flashing when it seemed this situation settled down. I'm still not 100% sure why this happens to USB/activesync, but I should follow up on it... someday.

Pour se faire sur laisse appuyé sur les deux soft key (calendrier et contact) tout en effectuant un soft reset.

I am not totally sure to be honest, the likes of GSLeon3 or jocky would be more apt at helping in this situation. I guess you could try HERE, but like I said, I am not really sure. I have never interrupted a flash for fear of thinkgs like this. I guess you could also go to the rom section and download an untouched rom in .exe format and give that a shot as well, which is HERE. You could also try the section for Hardspl will not install White screen solved which is HERE. Like I said already though, I am not totally sure but I guess they are worth a shot.
I'm back, the main problem of this guy is the French Orange TyTN II has it's own rom and orange, as far as i know, never released the original rom on the internet.
So for him it's like if a tilt owner tried to flash an HTC stock rom without having installed the HardSPL at all, i think the solution is around MTTY but since i never used this tool i'm not really sure about that fact... ^^

Vérifies que ton kaiser est bien branché en USB (ouais je sais, mais bon) éssayes de débrancher et rebrancher, vérifies aussi que ton firewall laisses passer la connection du téléphone.
En fait vérifies que tout laisses passer la connection, au besoin désactive le firewall le temps de manipuler le téléphone.
Ensure your Kaiser is connected (USB connection tone). Unplug and replug if necessary, also verified that your firewall lets the phone pass through.
If necessary disable the firewall.

Comment peut on le savoir? ou se trouve les ROM sur le site HTC car je suis bien inscrit? Et les mise a jour officielle?

i wanted to upgrade my qtek win mobile 5 to win mobile 6.
I updated ROM and then I started update for mobile6 with WM6.1_netDrg_V3.5F_UP1.exe.
Update started and then my telephone shut down by itself and then nothing. Absolutely nothing. no light. I cant start it and no hard reset. when I plug it with charger no light of charging either. I think I deleted the ROM by mistake.
Does anybody have an idea ? What can I do?

j'ai aucun lumière rien. je peux plus allumer. quand je branche avec le chargeur y a rien. pas de petit lumiere vert / orange qui dit qu il se charge, rien.

2. Where did you get the WM6.1 file from ??

My telephone is QTEK 9100. I downloaded WM6.1 file from a web site that i don't remember. I did upgrade ROM and I arrived to menu
U. Unlock
L. Lock
C. CID Unlock (SuperCID)
Q. Quit
and I did "U" + restart + "C" + restart, so I did unlock.
And I just learned that I should charge my phone to more than 50% before upgrade. I didn't know that.
My charge was stg like 40%. I don't know if I just killed the battery or phone.
I still need help.

If you do this on a g4 device you kill your phone.
check the spl version and post here for us.
I can not turn on my phone so I can not get any information from it.
So I dont know how i can find SPL version? But i think at the very beginning it was 1.7stg but then I upgraded it to stg( I followed the tutorial that I found from this site).
You need to try and find a way to get the phone turned on
Try pulling the battery out of the phone - wait a bit, and then put the battery back - do not try and turn it on right away, but plug it into the wall with the charger.
Not the usb cable to the computer - but the actual wall plug.
Does the light come on ?? Is it charging ??
If you cannot get power to the phone - it will be next to impossible to get any support or feedback.

It is not a wizard rom but a rom for a Trinity phone, if it hard slp'ed your phone no longer knows what it is.
Anybody have any fix for this?

C'est clair, c'est mort. T'as flashé une Rom de Trinity sur un Wizard, donc il y a fort à parier qu'il n'y ait rien à faire.
Bien mal t'en a pris de ne pas avoir lu les post-it et autres stickies correctement...

Je suis actuellement un heureux possesseur d'Acer S200 modifié avec la ROM d'OCMAN qui me convient parfaitement.
J'ai installé différentes choses en fonction de mes besoins (GPS, émulateur PSP etc...) cependant un seule chose me blocque : Deezer.
J'ai essayé de le faire tourner avec Opéra (la version incluse dans la Rom OCMan comprends le flash) mais cela est très rébarbatif, j'essaie avec Skyfire cependant celui ci n'arrive pas à se connecter et donc impossible de charger la page Deezer.
Quand bien même j'ai réussi à la charger une fois je ne peux m'enregistrer et donc accéder à mes playlists.
Je sais que Deezer est accessible sous Win7 / Android et en java pour les téléphones Symbian.
Je pense que cette dernière application devrait marcher sous nos Win 6.5 seulement impossible de la récupérer.
Aussi est ce que quelqu'un aurait une réponse viable que je puisse accéder enfin à Deezer sur mon téléphone de facon agréable.

I'm install a lot of things like GPS ou FPSCE but it still something miss med : Deezer.
I've tried to launch with Opera (flash inside mine) but enable to login and read my playslists, also tried Skyfire but it's enable to connect to Skyfire server so unable to launch (don't really know why)
I know that Deezer is enable for Win 7 / android and for some phone in Java (like Samsung or Sony)
So i think it's possible to use Java version but i can't found this version.
So if somebody can give me a link to download Deezer in Java or other solution to have Deezer on my mobile...

nope. it's not for Windows Mobile.
This page gives all the blackberry JAVA-versions (JAD-files). The links go to versions for different screen sizes.
Upon clicking on e.g. 9800 Torch a JAD file will be downloaded (I've included the one for the 360x480 display o/t 9800 Torch). Rename the extension from .txt to .jad. Perhaps this JAD file works with JavaFX.
Give it a try and let us know.

I've download the .Jad for Blackberry Torch and JavaSX.
I've succed to launch .Jad and have the started but it ask me where ton install but like in Blackberry : Root / Game / Application after i crash : connection Lost.
First report : JavaSx made possible launched .JAD for Acer S200 and/or Windows Mobile.
Now need to find a version which worked properly.
Im gonna to try to launch it in different folder in my phone for seeing the consequence and in same time tried different versions if i can.

I highly recommend this device if you're on a budget as this is ALOT of value for $158 USD. The build quality is quite impressive, as I'd expect from Foxconn (the company behind iPhone construction) and I haven't had any issues with it.
Now as a power user I wanted to root it ofcourse and there is a way to root it but theres notreally an explanation on how to root it so I figured I'd post the steps, but the original thread is located at: http://www.needrom.com/download/infocus-m512 and I'd like to thank [email protected] for making the root image
Now to the rooting.
When you first get your M512 you'll need to upgrade its firmware.
Go to settings > About Device > Software update > Update. There should be an update, let it do its thing. It will reboot and the firmware will be updated.
If this doesn't work for you, you can do it the manual way from the official website - http://www.infocusphone.com/m512updates.html. Download 1080_0_15CN, use google translate to help you navigate. It should be about 800MB. Now boot your phone into Download Mode by pressing the Power + Volume Up button and then selecting the zip you just downloaded and flashing it. Now for me I couldn't get my phone to boot into download mode this way so I had to boot it into download mode by fastbooting with my computer.
Once you've updated to the latest firmware now you can go along and Flash the ROM from http://www.needrom.com/download/infocus-m512 which will Root your M512.
To do this you'll need to download the Android SDK and then navigate to sdk > platform-tools. Extract the rom you just downloaded into this folder. Now connect your device to the computer, make sure USB Debugging is on (in developer options) and let your computer install any usb drivers if necessary. Also make sure your device is connected as MTP.
Now there should be a file called: InFocus_M512_15CN_1_03A国际版.cmd, double click that and let it run, It should boot your device into download mode and when your device reboots its done!
Check to see if you have SuperSU installed - if you do, its worked and you're rooted
As of now there's no way to install a Custom Recovery or flash a custom ROM but maybe someone will develop one.

Hello friend, I bought this same phone in pandawill too. After doing all you did I had a proble, a pop up window asking me for an upgrade showed up suddenly and I click ok by mistake. The upgrade started but it stopped. Now the phone doesn't start. I want to know how to flash it into download mode or something like that in order to restore the phone.
Besides, I had 1,75gb of free room in internal memory and I found out how to install data in sd card. Actually I had many heavy games, Sygic with many maps...
If you can tell me what tools to use to try I will appreciate it.

Hey Migz71, I've used this technique to delete the Chinese bloatware off my phone and then linked my apps to the sdcard. But hopefully we'll be getting either a Miui or Stock ROM in the coming weeks (which will give us more internal space) ?

I have read in htcmania that one user use foldermount to solve the problem with the memory, because the phone has 4 GB but 2 GB it use like a emule sdcard, with that is not necessary use a external sdcard but you lost 2 GB. In my xiaomi Mi Pad 16GB I had the similiar problem and I solved with SDFix and for the bigger games I use Link2sD, but only with SDFix was enough.
The user in htcmania say that he solve with foldermount to link the folder from 2GB partition sdcard with the external folder to external sdcard. Here is one link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2192122,
Have anyone tried it ? or SDFix I think is easier .
Is a shame because the phone has a great hadware for this price but software and scene is rubbish.
I´m between this phone and xiaomi red 1s, I know that xiaomi has a good support and a nice room but luck 4g, and the battery is worst, really i don´t know what to do ... are you happy with this movil the gps and 4G works fine?
Thanks for that, it worked great! There's less space available on the internal memory on the phone since rooting it. I had about 1GB with the stock rom, now there's about 260MB. I've removed the unwanted app's etc., but I don't see what's taking up the space. Did you notice anything similar on your phone?

There should be a short four-character password listed with the ROM in parentheses to the left of the download button - currently it shows for me as "a2tb" for the full package. I don't know if that's set or if it changes, but take a look and see.
Update problem
Hello, I am french and not very good in english so sorry for my bad English.
I try to update my infocus to firmware 1080_0_15CN ... but it's imposible from my Infocus settings so I try to do that with the download mode, but when I try your magnipulation my phone switch on normally and even with ADB using the command " adb reboot download" it's the same results !
Please help me, thanks.

J'ai aussi le même problème: impossible de passer en mode Downlod par POwer+Volume haut
qu'est ce que ADB stp ?
Et de toute facon le téléchargement de ce firmware prend un temps fou et qui vient de ce planté à 64% ! grrrrr
Si tu as ce fichier un partage via DRIVE ou autre ? ce serait sympa

Bonsoir, alors ADB est un utilitaire à installer sur pc
Pour l'installer suis ce tuto: http ://ww w.phonandroi d.com/forum/installer-en-15-s econdes-adb-fastboot-les-drivers-de-votre-appareil-android-win-t8 4129.html ( je ne peux pas mettre de liens donc j'ai mis des espaces.)
Ensuite ADB et le reste de ces logiciels te servent à contrôler ou donner des ordres à ton téléphone via ton PC, alors tout d'abord active le mode debeugage USB de ton Infocus.
Ensuite installe les pilots, quand tu et que tu es en mode debeugage USB ton pc te propose d'installer quelque chose, ce sont les pilotes.
Quand tout ceci est fait, tu ouvres une invit de commande CMD et tu tapes ceci ( ton téléphone doit être connecter avec le debeug USB activer) "adb reboot download" et ton téléphone redémarre en mode download.
Voici que que j'ai appris à faire grâce à plusieurs tutos, mais moi mon infocus redémarre normalement, après si pour toi cela fonctionne c'est niquel
Je mettrais le fichier sur un hébergeur dès que je serai sur mon Pc, demain matin normalement !

Merci pour ces précisions.
Pour l'instant je galère avec le téléchargement du firmeware MC2... (603 mega)
Déjà un planté au 2/3 puis un autre quasiment vers la fin et ce matin temps estimé 2 à 3 jours...
Je désespère.
J'aurai un nouveau smartphone avant de pouvoir flasher celui là !!

Bonjour,
Pour obtenir ce mode faut être plus têtu que l'appareil!
Appui long sur la touche power : cliquer sur Eteindre
Appui long sur Vol+ et Power et maintenir : deux redémarrages consécutifs vont se produire
On garde son calme et les touches toujours enfoncées !
Il doit ensuite affiché (normalement) le mode download

Il semble nécessaire de faire cette manip cable USB branché et mode debug bien sur

Mais adb ne fait que redémarrer l'appareil - je ne vois pas l'intérêt de cet outil hormi l'instal des drivers...
Pour info j'ai enfin le fichier ZIP.
Je l'ai copié sur la carte microSD
J'ai lancé l'install via le mode download - En cours ..........
