guys, i understand that CF's autoroot is working again for the latest 4.3 stock firmwares. Mine KNOX status is 0x1 so yeah, i love root.
How about KNOX applications? Will those ignoring KNOX's notification keep popping up after root?

N8000DXBLL3 rom from sammobile website is official rom or rooted rom ????

All roms on Sammobile are official roms and none are rooted!!!!
No.
All the XBLL3 firmwares you can find on the Sammobile's Firmware section are leaked original Samsung. No rooted ROM there.

can i root this N8000DXBLL3 rom ?? becuase running out of memory space ??
You can root any rom the easiest way is by using the exynos exploit by download the apk from here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2050297
it will root your device instantly
Also if you are running out of space please remember it is not easy to use your memory card as default memory

Note 3 successfully rooted (unlocked bootloaders only)

Hi all,
just for your information: I just successfully rooted my N900:
1. Install CWM recovery for your device: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2454079
2. Download and install SuperSU 1.65 from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1538053 via CWM (the root option in CWM didn't work)
3. Voila
I did this with the N900 but it should also work for the other versions.
Cheers,
Justin
(Note 3 SM-N900)
Please change title to reflect that this method supports other versions such as SM-N9005

In Odin mode it says:
Current Binary: Custom
System Status: Custom
No Knox counter can be seen in Odin mode.
I bought the device in Thailand. The build number is JSS15J.N900XXUBMI5 (XX = Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Nordic, Spain, United Kingdom). The baseband version is N900DXUBMI1 (DX = Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Vietnam). Also there doesn't seem to be the infamous region lock enabled (at least there was no sticker on the package).

Any issues with Knox as in the software. On the S4 it had lots of issues with a rooted rom.
This will NOT work for all versions. Only ones with unlocked bootloaders. ATT and Verizon are out of luck.

Worked on my 9005 too!
Downloaded supersu cwm installable file to my phone and then flashed n9005-cwm-recovery-6.0 3.7-new-kernel(0925).tar via odin as pda (ap).
Then obviously installed supersu within cwm!
Confirmed full root with root explorer.

If you flash any kind of recovery besides stock, yes. Your Knox will be 0x1.
If you don't wish to trip it. Leave everything stock and just root it using Kingo, VRoot or Root De La Vega
Has anyone managed to flash modems with mobile odin?

You mean if I use mobil odin to flash stock rom it will not affect Knox satuts. I am asking because when opening mobile odin it say: using mobile odin on this device will void your warranty as the knox counter will be triggered.

No I mean if you flashed a recovery besides stock, it will trip your Knox counter
0x0 = not tripped
0x1 = tripped.
I could care less about a warranty, my Knox was tripped within 5 min of owning the phone. If I'm going to send it in for replacement. I'm going to brick the hell out of it where it won't even turn on for them to see a tripped knox counter.
Thanks

You should be made aware that king root sends your imei number to an ip address in China during the process.
Downgrade to 4.4 and user giefroot instead.
Just search for giefroot.

Downgrading is just flashing an official FTF. Its not a custom rom. Then you can root using giefroot, install a recovery for locked bootloader and then flash a pre-rooted rom. This pre-rooted rom is just an official FTF with root added. This is the solution you are looking for if you do not want to unlock the boot.

exactly. Kingroot does not support andoid 5.1.1 so if you want root do as the previous poster said. In the General Forum there is a topic on How to root for noobs. It's an excellent step tutorial with links. I suggest you follow it IF you want root. If you aren't happy then stay with stock
