I don't know anybody experienced it or not so giving you a trick
If you unlock your BL for the first time via flashtool, your data is wiped, so to avoid factory reset, here we go
1. Click BLU button on flashtool
2. Connect you phone in flashmode
3. Enter the unlock key
4. Click Unlock button on flashtool
5. Disconnect your device and reconnect it to flashmode (I know you are asked to connect in fastboot but trust me and connect it to flashmode only). Now you BL unlock will be cancelled as you havn't connected in the mode asked by flashtool
6. Again click on BLU
7. Connect your device in flashmode when asked
8.Click on unlock button
Now your device gets unlocked without loss of user data

HELP!
I followed every instruction, enabled usb debugging, backed up TA, then used flashtool to unlock the bootloader (after entering the unlock code flashtool showed OKAY, then the device rebooted). now I'm stuck in the bootloop. when I try to connect the device with flashtool to flash the stock ftf, it says usb debugging is turned off! how can I flash the device now? Is there any way I can turn on usb debugging again?

I have unlocked my bootloader and want to relock it but have not yet made any TA backup....so can i make a TA backup of another xperia-L device and flash that in my Xperia-L?
I, recently tried to unlock my bootloader via flash tool, but for some reason, my rooting status (my bootloader) is unknown (before was unlockable. I relocked and unlocked it again but still no luck. Then I flashed the firmware with flashtool.. but my bootloader's status is still unknown. I think the error is due to some file named x10flasher in the flash tool. What i must to do for have back bootloader unlockable?
Please someone Help me
cant bl
Hi, I wanted to ask if anyone knows why flastool says my Xperia L cant be unlocked but my phone says unlock is allowed? I dont know what to do anymore.
Hello, I have problem with my softbricked Nexus 5.
phone is full stock
bootloader is locked
USB debugging is not enabled
Android 6.0.1
all buttons are working
USB socket is fine
Factory reset from recovery mode is not working - still bootlooping
My purpose is to bring it to live, but I am stuck. Due to locked bootloader I have to use LG Flash Tool. Some time ago I used it with my other Nexus 5 and it was fine - worked excellent. Now I want to do it again with other phone but I am stuck on start: Can't enter download mode (volume up+usb cable). When I am trying to enter to download mode, charging battery icon appears and after few seconds my phone is being recognized as MTP USB device in device manager. I thought it is a problem with the phone, but tried with another working Nexus and there is no difference - it looks like problem with phone-pc connection to me. I tried few cables (original samsung and nokia) and two pc's - no difference. Tried all USB ports etc. Clean reinstall (with registry keys delete) doesn't help, updated version 4.2 neither. Do you have any ideas how to fix it?
Download mode? Never heard of that on the Nexus 5. There is a fastboot mode for flashing stock ROMs and to unlock the bootloader.
I recommend unlocking the bootloader and using NRT to flash a stock ROM.

I have NRT but problem is that to unlock bootloader I have to enable USB debugging - I can't do it with bootlooping phone.
Bootloader can be unlocked without enabling debugging as you are not running adb commands, you need to run fastboot commands.

Thanks! Can I do it with NRT also?
Easiest way to unlock the bootloader on a windows machine is to do this:
make sure that the necessary fast boot drivers are installed;
boot phone into fast boot mode by holding down volume up, volume down, and power;
connect the phone to the computer;
type "fastboot oem unlock" without the quotation marks and press enter key.
Unlocking will wipe the phone.
Once unlocked, you can flash a stock ROM using fastboot commands.

Ok I did it. Do I have to proceed "fastboot reboot" command? when I am doing it it reboots and still bootlooping. When I enter bootloader it is locked again
If the bootloader relocks itself when the phone is rebooted, the memory chip is damaged and will need a motherboard replacement.

So, in the end, I decided to flash the customized E6653 NOBA ROM for my Z5
Later, I was thinking... if I can go to the Flashmode & Fastboot mode, can I continue to unlock the bootloader, even though it says No?
Because to my knowledge, with Bootloader Unlock Allowed No, means that I can't access both Flashmode & Fastboot mode
Thanks lads, again

What a bummer... I may likely to RMA or sell this phone and go for XZ, the global version ofc
I did root my phone with fastboot commands when my bootloader was still locked.
That means I could still go to fastboot stuff.
Try the fastboot commands. It might works.
I have installed the drivers and got the unlock code and enable usb debugging and oem unlock when i wrote in adb commmand "adb reboot bootloader" the phone turns off and the led light turn into blue but nothing more, i can't communicate with the phone no more..
Is the reason i'm running on oreo?

Hello,
That is not how to unlock the bootloader. You need to follow the procedure described here
https://developer.sony.com/develop/...der/how-to-unlock-bootloader/#tutorial-step-3

Well that method is the correct method from Sony.
No, you do not need to downgrade, you only need to do that to back up your TA. You can unlock the bootloader on any version.
Have you checked if your phone allows the bootloader to be unlocked?
1. do u have unlock key from sony ? if yes
2. connect your device in fastboot mode
3. open FLASHTOOL
4. click the BLU button
5. enter that KEY
6. click OK
DONE
congratulations, the device is unlocked and you have just LOST YOUR DRM KEYS <3 ( i hope you have backed them up ) (using universalTAbackupv2 aka dirtycow script)

The flashtool method just uses the official method from Sony in a script, so if the official way does not work neither will the flashtool method
