[Firmware/OTA/Recovery] [Updated Links!!!] Firmware 3.63.707.4 -JB4.3- Indian HTC One - One (M7) Android Development

UPDATE:New Links Updated!!!. Thanks to @crushalot . We have a working link for 4.3 OTA . Also looking at the comments , i have also posted the RUU link that is needed to restore to stock.
Hi All,
Out of an urge to test everything stock 4.3 , i went the RUU way and got some goodies as well. Its a rarity to find OTA/Firmware/Radio for Indian HTC One with CID : HTC__038 . Below i would be listing the Firmware , Radio and OTA files for both 4.2.2 and 4.3 versions of OTA for our phones.
Disclaimer: If you are downloading the below files , then you know what you are doing. If you do not know how to flash firmware/Radio/OTA . Please use the MAGIC of a tool known as "Search" as i will not post steps on how to flash them. If you by any chance brick your phone. Again please use search on how to recover it. This post is only meant for people like me , who have spent torturous hours finding stock files for our phone. I have gone through the pain and i want other not to go through the same. Finally , guys like me have something to fallback on. ENJOY!!
Important : this firmware also works with HTC__044. International version users , you will loose LTE if you flash this as our phones dont support it.

What he would need is a system dump once the OTA has been applied to the previous rom version.

i can provide that but i have to upload a full nandroid then. This might take time (only cause of the huge size it would be)

i can help. send me a nandroidbackup of your rom and i will make it....
best and easiest way is to use nandroidbackup link
from playstore for it. then backup your rom with "yaffs2" activated. and send me the file/zip.....

To Extract the OTA files , this is what i did :
Stock ROM was loaded
Downloaded the large OTA file
dont click install, instead go to bootloader
flash a custom recovery (since fastboot boot recovery doesnt work since 1.54 hboot)
take a nandroid backup
Copy nandroid to PC and "Make a Copy of it"
In the copy , rename the data.ext4.tar.a to just "data.ext4.tar"
open the tar file in 7-zip
look for the OTA in the below location:
/data/data/com.android.provider.downloads/cache/
copy the OTA file
PROFIT!!!

Firstly thanks for the firmware.
I have a question, will this firmware erase the internal memory?
I am so happy, finally we'll have Indian radio.
One more thing can you please provide MD5 for the files?

This will not wipe anything as this is the official OTA , those are test firmware files that erase data. You can readily flash this firmware if you follow proper steps like locking your bootloader first.

maybe the D and L refer to just LTE and Non LTE radio
u can flash the firmware in this post if u are S-Off , Cid set to 1s in Ruu mode
u need to remove the hboot files and few others to preserve yr recovery
but again in the op its stated u will lose LTE if u are not on HTC_044 ( Southeast asia)?

Thank u . This is the SEA singapore/malaysia rom Version
Does the rom contain the firmware or have u removed it?
I have corrected the links for u with clickable ones.. As above.
Those who want to download , just click on the quote above
NOTE: that the firmware file in Original post is a full version, not a custom one . Flashing the firmware will result in loss of root
Here are 2 files, Choose one to flash , not both
If u flash this
2.24.707.1-custom firmware.zip
yr S-off , custom recovery and still Hboot 1.44 intact, u can use revone
on this. If u are already S-off , rooted and want to just upgrade the firmware flash this
If u flash this :
2.24.707.1-Unmodified firmware.zip
Yr S-off may be gone but u cannot use revone commands anymore . Hboot will be upgraded to 1.54 , custom recovery will be removed and potential problems later one . Flash this if u want just like the Stock OTA upgrade
---------- Post added at 05:07 AM ---------- Previous post was at 05:00 AM ----------
Explanation for the above: Generally U need to remove 3 things if u want to flash firmware on S-off phone
Boot.img - Kernel ( this is stock kernel ) remove if u are on custom rom
recovery.img ( HTC recovery) remove if u ant yr TWRP or CWM intact
Hboot ( remove if u want to keep yr phone Unlocking bootloader ability )

recovery.img ( HTC recovery) remove if u want yr TWRP or CWM intact

Thanks for fixing the links. No the firmware is not included in the ROM. It only has boot.img, /system and /data/preload. The firmware will need to be flashed separately using fastboot oem rebootRUU. The firmware can be extracted from the OTA firmware.zip or the link above. I'd remove hboot from the firmware as well. 1.54 hboot is a problem. Haha.

yes , thats what i meant. The rom should not contain recovery or Hboot or any firmware files
BTW if yr recovery is already TWRP, after flashing this rom , TWRP will automatically install the root access for u
Anyway this rom is supposed to be GSM/LTE. Cause phones with 707 region are LTE phones
So try changing the title

No . This firmware is the full version. I stated earlier ... It will result in loss of root .. u need to remove the boot.omg, recovery.ing and hbootbya.img before flashing
I have posted a custom version of this firmware in #2 post of this thread
updated my 2nd post.....
just to confirm, if i'm currently on CWM touch and ARHD and would like to get back to stock recovery and stock ROM
i just need to download the 2 files quoted by Magpir and flash them using the following instructions?
Download stock odexed version of most recent firmware and recovery.img
Move recovery.img to c:\mini-sdk location
Boot your device in recovery mode (power off the device and turn it on using power + vol down buttons and select "RECOVERY")
In main menu, select "install zip from sdcard" and "choose zip from sdcard".
Navigate to the location of stock ROM (zip) package and confirm flashing procedure.
After flashing process is complete, reboot the device in bootloader mode.
Connect your device to the PC
Boot your device in fastboot mode (like you did during unlocking bootloader - power off the device and turn it on using power + vol down buttons and select "FASTBOOT")
Open up command prompt ( Start > Run > type cmd and hit enter ). The window that appears is called Command Prompt. <click here to see the image>
Navigate to where you unzipped "mini-sdk" package (type in Command Prompt: cd c:\mini-sdk). Note: make sure the path is not c:\mini-sdk\mini-sdk
In the Command Prompt type following command: fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
You have now stock boot, system and recovery partitions. Time to relock your bootloader.
In the Command Prompt type following command: fastboot oem lock.

Flash/ Install the calculator.zip from recovery and install the flashlight app. (See attached items).
You're unable to uninstall those app because of S-On. You can't make changes in your system. You've to flash a boot image that doesn't s-off your phone but it'll give you permission to write on system. Here's link- http://www.mediafire.com/?71jx66s6rz17waj
Download it and flash it via adb. (Fastboot flash boot boot.img)

After flashing boot image you can uninstall it permanently. Without any error

Do not try to flash this rom if u are S-ON with european model... doesn't work..
Good work mate
Waitin for european rom
You planning to make a flashable ROM from this?
Please make flashable ROMS because the steps that you described are very similar to the steps you provided before from the 6.0 to 6.0.1 update and it was a big mess.
I want to believe that this works, but because of the issues I went through before I'm going to hold off on trying these steps until someone can confirm that it works.
Are you still uploading TWRP backup? waiting for it dude. Thank you for work!
Also waiting for upload! Appreciate your work buddy
1.55.617.4 TWRP Backup is here . https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=24385658843824552
I have included German Language Files but it is working for you, too. But i think S-off is needed because i have put in the Language Files. If you have S-Off it is no Problem for the American User to use this TWRP Backup.
AntikerTa, Thank you! It's working on my phone now, i did root after. Nice job!
Guys sorry for the delay,,, happen problem,,, eta for link 1 hour
@lefteris Fragiadakis (Frago)
Can you explain me how do you make a flashable Rom from a TWRP-Backup, please.? Perhaps in an extra Thread.

So if understand well, European models (2GB RAM) can flash this version with S-ON?

No. S-Off is needed because with European Models you have to change the MID and CID.

Oh golden days of M8 and M9 when the same custom rom was just simply flashable on any unbranded model.
Can we manually change the MID and CID in the flashable ZIP?
Sorry for my noob questions

I will try it after Work. Thank you.
Is there any way to dirty flash the update from 1.55.217.1? Thanks!
EDIT: Yes. Follow instructions in first post but don't wipe data. Worked for me, and it left /data intact. Don't have any issues on boot. Just had to re-flash Xposed framework (or any other .zips you've flashed)
Looking to upgrade, but must have tethering enabled. Is native Hotspot unlocked?

Extracted them from the B383 update.
But im wondering why there are 2 Recovery files, both are the same size but they give back different md5hash sum, that mean that there is something different about them.
But here you are:

I got an issue with an P9 [EVA l_09] after upgrading from latest Marshmallow C432 single SIM to Nougat via SD Card update.app and restart. I did similar updates on 5-10 different devices w/o an issue.
Fist part went fine, but with the second [HW_init] it went into this:
http://www.derjackistweg.de/img_20170601_142722_resized_20170601_022749113
I was not able to flash ANY different update.app after that via SD card [weather Marshmallow 1rst or later version]
The device is stock - NO change in Bootloader
I do not have any recovery from before or whatever.
I do want to use this device in whatever Firmware!
PS: I cannot post by myself. Though my account is 11 (!) years old - I am not experienced enough Back in the day I had more posts of course, XDA made changes over the years.

An older version of RUU or a nandroid backup of the system, boot&recovery partitions is perfectly fine as long as it's able to get the device to boot successfully. Will flashing system_image.emmc.win (from twrp backup) to the system partition resolve the issue?
Unbricked without using stock twrp backup or the correct RUU

Found two post that helped me to fix my bricked device that was on 1.24.401.12 and CID__J15 (middle east) without a stock twrp backup or the original RUU.
1)Follow this guide to change the version of your device to that of the RUU you downloaded.(I changed it from 1.24.401.12 to 1.24.400.2).
Note: I also changed the text TC__J15(representing the original CID) found in the sde1 file to TC__060(CID supported by RUU that was available.(Not sure if this step is needed)
2)Follow this guide to change the CID of your device to that supported by any RUU that you download and also to flash RUU.
Note: Ensure that you change only HTC__XXX while you edit the sdf1.img file using the HxD image editor(In my case it was HTC__J15(followed by IMEI) which i changed to HTC__060(followed by the same IMEI). This changed my CID from middle east to india), else you could mess up the IMEI (which follows immediately). So always keep a backup before editing sdf1.img
Note: If adb says device unauthorised, simply run the commands from terminal found under the advanced tab in Twrp and transfer the files to PC using MTP while in TWRP recovery mode.
