Where and how do you set badger notifications for email and other apps. This is a must for me.
Use a 3rd party launcher that supports it. Badges are not possible on the stock launcher.

I like swype pad, and circle launcher for organizing my apps. Gives a clean look.
smooth calendar: customizable and has nice settings
beautiful widgets for weather and stuff, highly customizable
desktop visualizer: make anything an icon, very useful
missed it: see missed calls text, and emails
launch-x pro: allows you to have like 12+ apps in a 4x1 area, awesome for my quick contact buttons
I use some others but those are loaded onto every phone I get
When I got Apex Launcher Pro, I was under the impression that it would be able to add unread badges to all my apps using a toggle in the Accessibility menu, and that's not the case at all. Instead, developers must use Apex's built-in API for unread badges to appear. The problem is that there's no good way to find apps that support this API, so it might be nice to have a list of the apps that do. I'll start:
Messaging + GV
Aquamail
facebook would be nice (unread notifications badge)
Use Missed it! From the playstore for ALL your apps
Works perfectly amd also the dev has a thread here on xda

I have a drawer full of icons I never use, for example widgets that have a whole app just for settings I never touch, or the Photos app but I only use Gallery or Google settings etc, you get the point.
Is there a way to hide those apps like you can in Nova Launcher?

I'm looking for a launcher, app or something that can said me how many unread mail i have in stock email app without. Other option is find an email app with exchange account with this option.
I have tried Nova Launcher, Apex Launcher, dashclock with apex launcher and neither works correctly. They do not count the number of unread messages correctly.
Thanks!
You could place an email widget. Dashclock extension should work though.

I think it is the ability of the launcher.
Nova Launcher prime has notification icons for missed notifications for apps.
I'm new to this group. And this is my first question here.
So I was using CM Launcher on my phone. But I prefer using other launchers. But the app drawer of CM launcher is very cool like in Windows phones. I want that app drawer as a standalone app.
