first of all: my english is poor, i hope that is the right category for my question. is it not so please move.
i have ordered a hdc galaxy s4 spark (fastcardtech.com/HDC-Galaxy-S4-Spark) with android 4.2.9 for my daughter one moth ago in china.:cyclops:
this week she tryed to install a font type manager. after this the mobile is rebooted and stopped at start screen at the samsung logo. that was all. i tryed to reboot new (with or without battery). all times the same result. the cell stopped at the samsung logo. :crying::crying::crying:
i can open the recovery (Android system recovery <3e>). here i have the point: update from sd-card. but from there it opens the internal sd-card (mobile-store) not the external sd-card. but how can i move a rom or update on this internal card? and i have a point with the name apply update from adb? when i open this i can see the mobile in Quick ADB Pusher v0.5. but when i open the mobile in Quick ADB Pusher v0.5, i can not copy files on the phone.
pls help me to give the mobile the live back
at finally: sorry for my poor english. it is possible that it is a solve in this forum. but the forum is too big and i can not translate all specific descriptions here.

you could try factory resetting it in the recovery, otherwise the website of the phone might have a stock ROM that you can rename update.zip and use it in recovery

but now we have solved the problem :laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh:
the rom s4 spark rom from needrom (http://www.needrom.com/mobile/hdc-galaxy-s4-spark/) was the problem.
i have installed this rom (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=47565024#post47565024) for my hdc s4 spark . and the first try was successfully. :good::good::good:

The truth is that I am a newby... I have only read about routing and custom roms. But I can't even start trying to root my device because I can't enter recovery mode... When I press Vol Up + Home + Power Button it takes snapshots of my screen... I have read other forums about our device but I found nothing else...

yes, you should start by rooting the cellphone. (but are you sure what rooting does and why to use it?)
hmm, your link is not what i had use, but if you are okay with it then go ahead.
about backup, find for CWM.zip, its a clockworkmod recovery skin. and you will find instructions in it. then you can backup/restore everything.
i suggest moving your backed up data to computer. then you can use ODIN too if you need...

i have given you a link that day.. or search google for rooting B5512, (wiping data is not at all necessary to root device)
and backup the data with the Clockwork mod recovery.. (google it, you will get many many info)
"Skin1980-GT-S5360+CWM" this is the file which u used.. let me check if i can upload..
i dont have enough posts i gues..

Hi thanks for the uploads but when loading the update.zip from the recovery utility, i get:
Code:
.zip
(Status 7)
Installation Aborted.
It did update succesfully though when i used this update.zip.
fyi i have the B5512 with PDA: B5512XXLF2 (i think Polish firmware)

Latest version is Android 2.3.6
Btw I would definitely recommend to install the custom kernel from Deadly: this thread

one more thing, anyone can help me?
I connect my phone to computer and it's shown as removable disc. But when i click on it, it show to insert card in the removable disc.

So, @smartxtreme, I can simply toggle the recovery mode and install the skin from zip, am I correct?

So now I am having a china tablet, it is Ployer MOMO5 (if you guys know) and after using for awhile, it has stop working and I decided to upgrade its firmware.
I used Micro SD and I dowloaded the firmware from Ployer website.
After upgrading, everything went smoothly but it stucks at the 'android' word screen, and it is forever!!!
Anyone here can guide me regarding this?

Any idea why it stopped working before you upgraded the firmware?
Not sure, maybe i did not use it for too long already.
Then when I on it initially, it showed all the RAM ROM and numbers (Not sure what it is called)

Then I decided to upgrade it by downloading the latest firmware, insert it into my micro SD and insert it into my china tablet to upgrade.
Everything worked fine.
But now I cant on it.
How did you install the firmware?Using a custom recovery or the pre-installed recovery of the tablet?And do you happen to have a backup of the working OS?

Not so sure what you are talking, but are you asking me whether i created the firmware myself, or download it from somewhere?
If yes, then I downloaded the firmware from the main website of it and I put into my micro sd

I downloaded the firmware and extracted them into the root directory of my micro sd. Then i hold the power button while inserting the micro sd card into me tablet. Then it update itself.
The tablet showed that the update is complete at the top left corner.
In that case,try flashing it again.

Try to reformat again your sd card. After that copy back the firmware and others suporting file to your sd card. Reboot. Hopefully it can be solve.

Is there clockworkmod available for this tab ? Not to keen on rooting without a clockwork backup.

Same here. Only the annoying "The Art Hi-Tech" logo on every try. I tried the update with the SD card too. I won't believe there's no solution...

I had the same issue with the bootloop with PMP3870C_DUO. I found the solution on a russian forum 4pda.ru, post #32 from user ogsstudio.
Here are all tools needed for flashing, and here is my HowToInstall not perfectly translated to english from russian with google translate.

Last month my phone got a bad soft break and i had to back it to stock rom(all just like first day) by a thread i found in this forum. About dead opo But Last week suddenly my one plus one going to power off and then goes to atuo reboot until I off it.
After a factory reset when I want to install any app it happens again (reboot)
Today I decided to change the ROM.after unlocking bootloader and rooting and installing TWRP3.1.1 when I want to install ANY ROM(I tried xenonhd and lineageos )I receive error7 .then I searched for solve this issue.and find some tips about midfielding the update script and ..(you know). But it didn't work and I got error 6 and nothing yet

I guess first thing to do is to flash an older cyanogen rom OR install tugapower twrp that can handle firmware flash. You can find both firmware and twrp at tugapower thread here on XDA, nougat and oreo one. Hope i helped

Flash this using twrp,wipe everything except internal storage,flash rom+gapps(optional),reboot and profit.
