OK guys so here is my dilemma I have the nexus 5 with the signal issue ( keeps dropping me off the network ) so I have a replacement device on the way. Today I got a offer to trade for a brand new Sony xperia z1. I love the nexus 5 but I don't know what to do the build quality of the z1 is second to none. What would you do? Also the Sony is a locked boot loader so I won't be flashing many ROMS

I have tried both phones, and as you can see, I am using Sony Xperia S. SGS3 does have slightly better performance, but in my opinion Sony's model is better. At least I can say that it works better for me. As for the screen, Sony Xperia S has a much better screen.

Hello everybody, I'm a bit confused to choose the best phone on my price range.
So in your opinion which mobile should be the best from my list if we compare, processor, ram, sd mini card availability, screen quality, battery life and so on. Maybe I should take some different phone with similar specifications ?
I got couple of them:
*LG E610 Optimus L5
*Sony ST25i Xperia U
*Sony Ericsson Xperia Ray ST18
*Sony ST23i Xperia Miro
*LG P700 Optimus L7

What is your budget ? Are you buying off-contract or carrier-subsidised ?
There are a few good web-sites where you can compare phones side-by-side, I used them myself when I was shopping around.

Not bad. Do you tried to find something used?
When I was first looking, my budget was similar (then I decided to spend a little extra). I would definitely check out used phones. I think I'd been considering a Galaxy S II at that price point, but don't know if you could do better, I think the Galaxy Nexus was a bit more - but I'd check and see if the prices have come down since the Nexus 4's now come out.

Go for the Xperia u you can find it for 150euro but I don't suggest you an android phone for the budget instead go for a wp7.5 / 8 , like the Lumia 620 because wp is much more lighter and fluid on budget phones.

If only i could use a sense based rom on xperia Z, well that would be my next phone.. timescape UI (if i'm not mistaken with the name) don't have that premium and professional look. But hardware wise, xperia Z would be it..

HTC One X+ purely because there are a lot of things out there for HTC.
Then again Xperia Z has 2 Gig of RAM and same thing with Nexus 4.
What ever has top hardware when my 2 years are up lol.
Xperia z looks good and i'd flash roms on it to make it like a nexus
Padfone2, only because of the hybrid tablet/phone. I think its an awesome feature.
