I am trying to root/twrp/gapps my childs nabi 2 and my computer recognizes the device. Howerver each time any of the root tools being used restarts the device it freezes there. I have tried the 2 different types of device drivers, and If I go to device manager, I right click to update drivers and it gives me this error:

What nabi 2 do you have?
go in setting about tablet and get Model Number, Edition and Andoid version.
mine says
NABI2-NV7A
NABI2-NV7A-US
4.04
having the wrong gapps will cause errors

i've used this app to enter my number, so that some apps work: http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s3/themes-apps/app-sim-changer-change-registered-sim-t2106490
it will need the xposed framework
this is another alternative but i've never tested it: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gnufabio.simeditor
I installed 4.4.2 on on my N8000 and worked awesome. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O_bLwOBeVEM
That was until last night.
I thought I just reinstall it again but I can't get to the recovery menu of TWRP. It restarts it self a few seconds after it shows the start up screen :

I have done the following:
1. Used different computers
2. used difference USB cable
3. Upgraded ODIN
4. Tried overwriting TWRP by CWM with ODIN but ODIN seems not do do anything ( nevertheless ODIN seems to work well, take a look here:
5. Drained the Table battery and started again
I hope somebody can help.
Thanks!
Hi,
I have a samsung galaxy tab 7.7 that I installed a custom rom in it (can't remember wich one exactly but as far as i remember, this was lineage os one)
Yesterday, I asked for a hard reset to delete all settings and google account in it. The tablet can't restart anymore : it displays this for several seconds

"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
and then stops.
When I try to start with ON + volume down buttons, it's stuck in this screen without downloading anything.
Maybe because I have installed a custom roms, I can't make a factory reset.
Can anybody help me?
I received my Pixel 3 yesterday, and today got the opportunity to sit down with it and go through unlocking the bootloader and rooting the phone. After doing all this, it successfully booted up, I restored all my data, then went to download and install the newest monthly, as detailed at https://www.xda-developers.com/flash-monthly-security-update-google-pixel/ . When I did so, it went through most of the process, but then failed as shown in the attached picture, and now my phone will not even boot, though I can access TWRP. Any tips on how to fix this?

Update your android developer tools (fastboot/adb) and then try a different port/cable. I've had this happen in the past with certain versions of fastboot and ports on my PC.
Hi ! I have a OnePlus 8 IN2015 with bootloader unlocked but not rooted , I understand the official TWRP recently added support for this device (instant noodle)
My question is can I just hit download TWRP and follow the instructions and be done straight from the phone ? Do I need magisk first ?
Also when I click the drop down menu to search for a device it says failed to connect to the server ?

It's been quite a while since I've flash anything on my devices but none of this is new to me, I just been feeling the itch to start flashing stuff again, I just wanted to be completely sure before flashing.
