Hello. I want to design my own back cover case for my i9000 and i have spoken to a company who can help me build one from start with my own material but they need a drawing of the Battery cover with measurements and 3d pictures so the computer can scan it into the machine. Someone know where can i found one?
There must be some sketch out there, when there are many different custom shell on the web.
I have email Samsung support but they didnt sound so happy so I do not expect to get an answer from them.
Anyone know where to find a drawing? thx ..
May be this website comes handy.. http://www.the3dstudio.com/product_details.aspx?id_product=355348
I'm also interested in this so if this works out can you let me know if i can get one too?
I can't find a good replacement beside official Samsung which cost way too much for a piece of plastic
Maybe you can make a mold of your batterycover and give it to them?
site: mold-making . com
custom battery cover
im also very interested in this, what kind of company would do this sort of stuff? and where would i find someone who can do it?
im also very interested in this, hope to hear more about it
any updates?
Hi Everyone, I'm sure there are a lot of us out there that feel that ifixit skimped on explaining exactly what went into removing the Nexus S Bezel...So anyone who knows what to do get it off...please explain in the finest detail possible please!!!
Google search ns teardown
Editt
nvr mind u did
U remove back screws then pull on the left and right part of side bezel and once they separate/unlock you can pull the back (with little force)that's as far S i got because I only had to reseat speaker cable.
Maybe ifitit will become easier to understand after that....think u have yo pretty much dissemble the whole phone to remove it
Also try searching YouTube might be a tutorial

Will try to take some photos. I already have it, bought it from our local shop . Phone is heavier and a bit thicker. I could take some separately photos of back cover and battery. Don't have any camera to take photos then battery is in the phone.
edit: yeah this is legit, my previous suspicions are cleared now
I believe as is genuine product, it will remain same way as standard cover, handtec.co.uk have them in due: http://www.handtec.co.uk/samsung-galaxy-s5-extended-battery-kit-eb-eg900bbegww.html, looks very promising as 3500 mAh was my ideal size battery for good 2 days use.

It doesn't say on the webpage, but does anybody know if that back cover still gives water and dust resistance?
I also can't seem to find this Genuine Battery kit on any other website, is this absolutely confirmed to be genuine?
I actually feel very suspicious about it because I can't seem to find Samsung making an announcement about this accessory either.
They made announcements about previous new battery packs.

Just find this seller on ebay: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/201132887569?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649
and it saying: Waterproof feature retained, and is genuine Samsung product: EB-EG900BBEGWW, looks very promising.

OK. Found my work iPhone and took some pictures. Here is how it's look on the phone and some back cover photos. It's easier to give link to my dropbox gallery. Here it is LINK
Good morning, thanks for photos, looks exactly I was hoping for and not too bulky, I ordering mine from amazon.de as is only £24, in uk is £35 , and still will be send to me from amazon.uk as I done with few items before
Nice, i paid £31
I don't know if it's my eyes messing with me, but it doesn't look that much thicker.
It's not very thick. But if you look at photo there is camera, you will see that camera isn't popped up anymore as it is in original back cover. With this battery cover camera is hidden in cover. Don't know if anyone understood what i said . Just compare camera area between original back cover with photo from my gallery.

I am glad some people find this battery useful as for me is good compromise between standard and brick battery zero lemon or similar, I just hope I could find rugged case this phone with this battery fit in, as I really like tech21 impact case - but no chance will fit in, but for outdoor I am using NewTrent rugged case and I finding one of best case available: http://www.amazon.com/New-Trent-Ultra-thin-Shockproof-Compatible/dp/B00KB9AWEE, and reviews from over 500 people saying same thing, only I hope I can somehow manage to accommodate S5 with small extended battery in to this case too
YES! Was waiting for the OEM Extended Battery with all the features retained. As someone in the States, get the hell on bringing this over Samsung!
FYI, just because it says Samsung doesn't mean its legit. Samsung doesn't have it listed, and if you call they have no idea about it.

I agree with you. However, it should still be close to the listed capacity since you can tell it is definitely larger than the OEM one. Now, that doesn't necessarily speak to its quality. But typically the fakes like to list capacities much higher than the actually produce.

I believe is genuine as is attached on Handtec website original OEM number from Samsung, customer service-support many times don't know about product manufacture offer, and could be is only for limited regions.
Hey guys,
Today I noticed Zerolemon had a new case listed:
http://zerolemon.com/product/zerole...00mah-tricell-extended-battery-nfc-belt-clip/ It looks like it is supposed to come with that new case and a new battery. It appears slightly slimmer. There's also a opening for the speaker on the back, which i think is cool. I'm not sure if there's any other improvements.
However, when you click the link to order it on Amazon, it takes you to an incorrect page for this case: http://zerolemon.com/product/zerolemon-samsung-galaxy-s5-tricell-8500mah-extended-battery/
In fact, the link to order it on amazon for both lead here: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00LMJJOD2 This is the incorrect case, it is referring to their "older" model case. You can tell because it doesn't feature that new speaker opening.
Does anyone know where to find this new case/battery? For the life of me, I can't find it. I would contact Zerolemon on this issue, but it appears they require you provide an order ID. I obviously don't have one because I can't order the product that is listed. Or am I having some sort of misunderstanding?
It looks like its the same size. I kind of has to be to fit the 8500 mah battery in there. Neat that it has an opening for the speaker on the back though. Not neat enough to toss the one I have now and buy one. Unless I could just get the case... then maybe.
I've come up with the idea of two battery smartphone that eliminates the use and hassle of phone chargers. I couldn't submit it anywhere so If any of you have a chance to submit it anywhere feel free to forward it. Just don't forget to mention my name. You can download the project PDF file from the attachments . And feel free to make suggestions and ask questions! Hope you guys like it and excuse my English.
I don't like the idea. If you keep removing your battery, there will be a problem with you back cover and also battery. I think it is better to use one battery rather than two.

If you read project well, you could see that device will have slot rather than back cover which is making battery replacement process faster and safer. And if you give me reasons for one battery advantages or why you like that way, I'd like to comment on that too.
