[Q] Need rom for karbonn a1

Please can anyone provide me stock rom for a1 wit proper info about installin it.....i hope any of you ll help me

I could probably get my hand's on a stock rom from the a1.. Just wondering. Why do you need this rom?

I rooted it and ever since I rooted it I cant do a factory reset when I trey factory reset it reboots and a full of screen shows up and I have to remove the battery and put it back , then when I switch it on nothing happened :'(

I upload full flashing tool as soon as possible......

how to get in to recovery mod in karbonn a1(not from any sofwares) manually.
i tried all the circus with all buttons,but useless,how to get into it?

Stupid question by me . I flashed all the fonts by cwm so how to choose them from menu to use like in s3 they are present in display settings .

You can't choose fonts as there is no settings present. You have to flash one which u like. It always replaces the previous font.

hi.. it should work.. try fixing permmission after flashing.. if still not working then try rom toolbox

Hey m new here.. I am using Galaxy Pocket right now. M bored of Gingerbread OS.. want to install any custom rom in my phone. Can anyone give me a complete guidelines of installing? Please help.

[Q] Cyanogenmod porting

Is anyone working on such project.. I tried porting it and it just goes till bootlogo and does not proceed any further..
I ll share file if anyone wants to play with it..
P.S. I think we need a new kernal.. i may be wrong.!!

well i am not proceeding further as i am really busy with work..
I can give only weekends but not sure about that..
I am pretty sure some init.d tweaks and better kernal would help and that file i shared will work..
Till then i m pretty sure someone can contiue from here..

I would be really interested to see this but i m not sure if our current kernal version will support this

Xperia m gets cm11 (4.4 kitkat), so does tipo, ace, fit, dio... can't we also try?

There are app called framaroot and universal root on xda you can use them.

Put the zip he gives and place it in the sd card
power off your phone
Then to go into recovery press and hold Volume + and power buttons together till you get into recovery
Then select apply update from sd card option
SElect the zip
then you are done
then select reboot system

How to backup my existing rom without rooting it. I have micromax canvas hd a116
I am afraid that if my android get bricked anyhow by rooting then what will i do. There is no customer care of micromax near my city.

Now there are 2 ways of making a Nandroid backup(rom backup)
You can use a app called Online Nandroid on plays store (requires root)
Or through a custom recovery like twrp or cwm here is a guide to flash custom recovery http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2179097

No my friend
I didn't root my phone till now coz i am not fully sure whether my phone will root safely or not because if it get bricked anyhow then i don't have any other mode for internet.
So i am viewing for full info of rooting my phone. Rooting is not my first opinion but it is my need because i have to do battery caliberation. Thanx a lot

The issue I am
having is when I receive or send a call, my connection seems to pause. This also causes web pages to not load and the 3G or E icon
goes away from the Status bar at the top of the screen.
Does anyone know of a way for me to have the data connection continue when a cell call comes in?

Your device is canvas HD right then framaroot does work for you Use the Boromir, Faramir and Barahir exploits only
If that doesnt work then Option 2

Ya i am very very very very thankful to you. I rooted my phone and also cwm recovery.And i can't believe that the whole process took only 2-3 minutes. i mean i can't believe this.
Any way again thanx.
But my main problem for which i rooted my phone isnot solved till now. The problem is sudden battery drop. My battery directly goes 100 to 14 when reboot after full charge. i used battery caliberation app too. But it didn't help. Now i am feeling irritating because of all these i have to charge my phone 4-5 times a day.
Please help me.
