Hope it's ok to post logcat and some observations here.
Running stock kernel with rom, 12.69a 60.29U_26.17.14.11M , no changes to CPU settings smartassv2,
inspire4g at&t, 4ext recovery, data is turned off testing on pay as you go sim.
1) First thing to pop-up, Unfortunately, the process android.process.media has stopped. Temp Solution: turned off "Media Storage" in your Apps list
2) You tube loaded after app restarted but will not play just makes popping sound.
3) No ringtone sound, tried making and assigning through setting wouldn't take. Temp solution turned on vibrate "very strong" !
4) Hangouts works flawlessly one of the first things I always use.
5) None of the Media players would load albums, guess due to media storage, not sure though ?
6) Voice recognition works for google search bar, however loads to black screen due to default browser issue.
7) Playstore works after restart in settings, tried permissions fix to see if it would work from recovery didn't work.
8) Maps worked right out of the gate, but graphical glitch/flashing while navigating,and attempting to use settings proved problematic,menu would appear over the map as a blank square or full menu would show up and disappear.
9) Connecting USB didn't work for me, used wifi explorer to transfer files for logcat. It kept unmounting SD and computer won't recognize.
Great work, and I hope my speel in some way is useful .
Move along, nothing to see in this post-old info was here. Will update when I have anything worth while to post.

Reboot
Be sure to Follow Through on Setup
Download jermaine's fix from the end of this post and place on root of sd
Boot into recovery
Wipe Cache, then Dalvik
Flash his fix
Reboot, and your set
Q: Why doesn't MMS work?
A: Due to a bad apn, stock messaging app still doesn't allow us to send a Multimedia Message, we do have a work around for the moment. Included in the rom is GO SMS, use it as your stock messaging app. This will allow you to send MMS messages, ten fold. Go to stock messaging app and turn off notifications, and setup up Go SMS to your likeings, and tada! Send your favorite picture to whoever now! ENjoy

Did you guys fix the bug where the phone freezes when you get a call while the phone is charging? That happened to me too many times so i had to switch till its fixed.

Virtuous Unity has Panorama built in as an Effect in the Camera. I thought most of the cameras in use on the Inspire ROMs had this effect? Does this one offer something more?

For those who have problems getting this to work.
Try this .apk
It was posted on the same forum as mentioned above but it was aimed at those (like me) who couldn't get the application installed on the phone because of the .JAR file.
You don't even need to use the scripts to get this app installed. (After a failed attempt, I restored nandroid and installed just this .apk without flashing anything else and it worked).
Thanks to jimbo77 and droidrx for posting and tweaking the installer.
For those who can't install the jar file, I integrated the jar code into this APK. Non-rooted devices can install it as long as they have sideloading enabled

Seems ok. Big difference I notice right away is the settings menu is reduced drastically. Also the flash doesn't automatically remove the old camera so you have two cameras and two galleries.

thank you for this great mod - there ist just a major problem for me:
everytime I finish the sphere (when my phone renders it) it just states (after the progress bar reached its end) "gallerie has been terminated".
Sometimes a "bad" panorama-pic (low resolution, bad quality (nothing in common with the "spheres" or the ultra-wide panoramas) resides in my gallery but nothing else.
So anyone has an appropriate solution for me?
I don't know if this is the exact term for the error-note, my rom-language is german
I'm currently using Kangs CM10.1 (4.2.1), on Kangs CM10 (4.1.2) same error.

Hello.
Do you find improvement from previous camera stock?
For anyone getting the "Application not installed" message everytime they try to install this via the normal way, this is how I managed to get past it -
I deleted the Gallery2.apk using SlimSizer, (so I'd say you just have to go to /system/app and delete it from there if you're not on Slim) and THEN installed the APK after.
I'd make a backup of the original apk in case you don't like the camera. (which I forgot to do..) Layout is nice once you know how to go to different levels of settings and Photosphere works for me. You'll have a surprise change waiting after you take your first picture - I'm bewildered as to why it wasn't there before. The only bad thing I can see atm is that I haven't found an option to save to External.

Tried sky high does work but for some reason after sky high is installed vr keeps saying it needs to update but then won't connect to update. Says connection error.
Thanks for a great rom i put it to a test and discover issues with screen shot and air commands please help i really use that feature...and private mode wont work
