You really do need to do a lot of reading and research. But to give you a clue, the first thing you need to do is update your radio, modem, baseband, call it what you want. You have a clue in your other post what to look for.

You want him to run a GS2 rom on captivate?
He wanted a GS2 style rom, not a GS2 rom
I know he can't run a GS2 ROM on the Cappy, I was letting him know that it wasn't a GS2 ROM, guess I misread my b.
Any chance of getting this to work on vzw s3 ? Sorry if this is in wrong place!

I've been following multi window since the note 2 was released and everything I've read says its to heavily integrated into touchwiz for it to be portable, we will most likely not see multi window until we get a 4.1.2 touchwiz leak

If we ever get the OTA it will have this.
After looking through the code/mods for the SGS2 mutliwindow mod, its not really portable to I535VRBLK3. The smali code mods/deletions arent there in 4.1.1 TW builds. And it looks like the Window Manager smali code would have to be completely re-written.
It might be possible to write a multiwindow mod from scratch for 4.1.1 TW, but you'd have to really know alot about smali code.
So, while it may be possible, its not probable that it will happen in 4.1.1 TW builds.

ok i'm confused lol the I9300 is a galaxy s3 not s2 right? The link I posted in op is for the I9300? But it did say 4.1.2 and our leaks are 4.1.1 so my belief would be it would work if we had 4.1.2 so I guess my question would be how different is the framework between 4.1.1 and 4.1.2 or between the I9300 and the I575 ? still learning so any help would be very much appreciated.

The really big difference beteween the intl (I9300) and the I535 is the architecture. Intl S3 has a quad core proc, so any build would be totally incompatible between the two.
The posted mod for the S2 seemed more viable to me, but the 4.1.2 TW build has some hidden stuff in it that just isn't in 4.1.1 TW builds.
In short, a 4.1.2 TW build with multiwindow pretty much already there (like the build that the S2 got) is what we need. Also, don't forget, this is part of TouchWiz, not android, so the code isn't freely available anywhere. We get to rely on VZW/Samsung for scraps from the table.
Hope that helps,
ALQI
Helps a lot thanks!

If say sprint gets a 4.1.2 leak, could the leak be ported to the vzw s3 and then someone add the multi view window feature from a note 2?

If sprint gets 4.1.2 its probably already gonna have it, but until 4.1.2 I don't see this happening, I been trying for weeks now but as I said before maybe a more talented dev can get it working but I wouldn't count on it.

Over in the sprint s3 section there is a 4.1.1 touchwiz rom with multi view somewhat working

If you want aosp/aokp then go to Verizon galaxy s3 original android development and compare the many roms. If it's touch wiz you want then go to Verizon galaxy s3 android development and compare the many roms in that thread. They are all a little different and it depends on what your looking for. The links to flash are right there on the 1st page of the op. To ask someone for best rom and link sounds a little lazy to me. What if someone sent you wrong link and you ended up bricking your phone. Wouldn't you like to do a little research and make sure your getting the right zip? Just my opinion but what do I know.

Back in my early S3 days when I was on ATT, there was a Rom called Wicked for the ATT S3 variant.I was hoping that someone may take a shot at porting it to the i535 for Verizon. (With the devs permission of course) I know its an older Rom but it was pretty decent as I recall.I appreciate it in advance.

you have to go to the at&t section to see what he is talking about. The last time I checked it is still based on 4.1.1 as of version 10 . The team has moved to the galaxy s4.
