KitKat stock keyboard emoticon skins - Nexus 5 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Any way to download and install new skins for the emoticons on the stock KitKat keyboard. Maybe like the same skins the iPhone uses. I cannot tell what half of the blobs are supposed to be doing. Thanks

if you are rooted, and have a custom recovery, you can try the xperia s keyboard here on the apps section
its a flashable zip and looks exactly like iphone, responsive, has own dictionary and comma/full stop buttons (which iOS doenst )
i would recommend it, and it works on any ROM

One alternative, is to install the new Kii keyboard Google Play Link, it has the numbers on the top, support swype and a lot of tweaks.
I use it for a few days now, and I like it

(REQUEST) Themes for Swiftkey /SwiftKey Flow!!

So Swiftkey flow is hands down the best keyboard out there! But man the themes are awful, has anyone made themes ti make it look more like the stock Android keyboard or just to make it look different? Is there any way to theme it? Would be awesome! Thanks

Swiftkey doesn't have a theme engine. The only way is to decompile the apk and modify the pngs. Now it could be made but after Swiftkey Flow gets out of beta, modifying the apk would be illegal. So we better hope that they will develop a theme engine.

[Q] TouchWiz 5 JB?

Hello.
I was wondering if there is a TouchWiz 5 ROM available for the Nexus S. No themes or launchers, but a full on ROM. I saw one but it had no wifi, and I need wifi. Are there any scattered about the web? Thanks.
None that I know of. TW5 is badly enough optimised for the device it was made for, I doubt you'd find a good version for the old nexus s

Dark/inverted ui on stock

Is there any way to get a dark system wide ui on stock nexus 5 rom? I know there is team black out but that's app by app. I know there is slim kat too but I'm wondering if there is a theme or any way to do something like that on stock.
Thanks
Don't think so. Did you check themes and apps section?
