Problem with incoming calls (Xperia E dual) - Sony Xperia Miro, Tipo (Dual), J, E

Hi,
I have a weird problem. Whenever there is any incoming call, most of the time my phone freezes and i can't even see who is calling. Even when the phone unfreezes, i don't find any missed call in the call list. Also, most of the time my cpu utilization is always high(>70%). I am using the stock deodexed NoZ rom. Please help me fix this problem. Thanks in advance

Dude... It is a conflict with the Viper audio engine. Possibly because you have high bass or volume levels. Try using another sound engine or just use a stable configuration

Audio engines shouldn't mess with GSM/CDMA calls.
I think your problem is something else.
I flashed this and lost audio. Nothing can create a sound, Apollo, Play Music and even pressing the volume buttons.

Long shot with CM10, since audio works with dirty fixes and flashing Acid over it messes everything up.
RIL is a known headache with CM9/10. I'm currently running a RUU to fix any corrupt radio files that may have slipped in.
I remembered I cannot RUU because I'm a HBOOT 1.02 S-OFF tester. I will try CM9 instead.

Restore your backup.
Failed with CM9 too.
Sad, because once you hear your music with Acid, you get addicted to it.

I will wait for 5.0 and try it. If it doesn't work, then I'll push forward and ask Team Acid for help.
I'm downloading 5.0rc2 right now, hopefully it will work.
Awesome News! Ac!d Audio RC3 works without any call voice corruption issues!
You may ask where to download. Sadly, beta testers are prohibited to post beta download links or give ETAs.

[Q] Headphones audio boost

I tried Ac!d sound mod, cm's dsp manager and volume+ in order to boost the headphones' volume (I wanna play music from the phone on my amplifier) and none of them gave a boost. Did anyone succeeded in this or it's just nonsense ?

I used to use an app on my Galaxy Y called 'Speaker Boost', it seemed to work for me. I noticed an improvement in headphone and speaker volumes.
The app icon in the store is a volume dial with a 'B' on it.

Regarding the sound, I found an app on the playstore that bumps up the volume a lot. Check it out : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=mobi.omegacentauri.Earpiece
It works. Just turn it on, click on " Audio trough earpiece" and see how much the volume is raised .

I think, he thought this:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.vipercn.viper4android4x&hl=pl or this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2191223 - for sound.
Generally, if you can, you should install CM10 - no problems with sound, or camera(rotated view in front camera)(with camera zoom fx)
Or, you can try to install AC!D Engine for sound (CM10 has it, and music sounds like a dream), but for now, I'm searching for how to install it in JLo(it is possible, look in my thread).

[Q][Xperia E] What audio engine do you use?

Hi! I have heard of ACID, Viper, and other sound engines. I'm just wondering what audio engine are you using on your Xperia E or are you using the stock xLoud. And which would you suggest as the best fit for Xperia E?
I'm using viper's right now. thanks...

I use PureAudio by Jeeko. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=41786745&postcount=1
Although I'm not a fan of anything associated with Beats, I like this engine. It really gives a nice, richer sound, because the audio renders a lot faster. This is not a placebo, and I promise you will find a great improvement, especially in songs with a lot of vocal.
I had it on my CM10, and then I had to reflash it. I listened some music without this engine, and you really miss it. My example is Demons by Imagine Dragons. It starts with a nice vocal, and somehow the voice of Dan Reynolds sounds better with this audio. Hard to explain, you have to experience it yourself.
Note: I'm talking headphones/earbuds here. The sound of the speaker won't be much better.
Hope I informed you well, and have a nice day!

hello buddy here is a little trick that u can enjoy good quality of sound on both speaker and headphones. Tried and tested and hundred percent working in stock rom of XE. for me viper is the best just u have to be rooted. install the app viper4android and install the drivers from the app itself. Now using root browser remove sound enhancements and and music fx but dont remove the libs.
reboot.
et voila!
u have now viper but also fully functional xloud on ur XE.
:highfive:
I use v4a, and will always keep using it. I prefer it because I like the Dynamic Bass System. It'll literally create that BOOM-BOOM effect if u know what I mean (earpods/earbuds/headphones)
