I got the S4 but would like to root my device and put Liquidsmooth on, iv looked over and over for a download link but have no idea what i am actually meant to be downloading and do lol!

I followed this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1074205 to root my galaxy S...and then I realized that it wasn't for galaxy S!lol
Now I can't turn on my mobile. How do I undo this?

Ok...I managed to figure it out.
I initiated the phone in download mod and used odin to root with the right kernel version!

I own a Samsung galaxy ace plus (GT-S7500L) and I have this phone for 2 weeks now. I really like it but I like to put a lot of apps into it and lately it's not working like the first day obviously. This is the first time I have an android phone and I read about Rooting and stuff. I want to know if something goes wrong like unshuffling or something while I do this, Can I recover my phone or something? and can I UNroot it once if I want to sell or something?

I just obtained a Galaxy S4 so I'm pretty excited. I"ll be even more excited once I get rid of the insane bloat Samsung/Sprint loaded on here. Definitely looking to root and find a good mod..

Ive been looking and looking for any fourms on this topic but cant find it. I want to be able to run windows 8 firmware on my rooted galaxy s3 (SCH-530U). I dont want any chessy simulation apps. I would like the actually firmware on my phone and im kinda new to this so if anyone can point me in the right direction that would be great. Also, please let me now if anyones has done this... is it possible? links or a whole how to guide would be great. hope to help myself and anyone that would like to do this to there s3.

The best place to ask about this is in the thread you downloaded the rom from. Make sure you read the opening post or 2 carefully to see if its a known issue. And read the last few pages to see if anyone is talking about the issue or has a fix.
