Can you help me, I have a GPS problem
I have an android 4.04 on my phone and there was no any problem with the navigation for a while. Now, when I activate the GPS, it finds 3-4 satelit and when the position should have been determined, the phone reboot. I tried to use more types of navigation software, only the google maps can determine the position but only by wifi. The phone restart from inside GPS. I have also tried custom rom also but no change.
Can anybody help to solve this issue? Can this be a hardware or software problem?

It probably woun't help, but try rebooting to recovery -> wipe cache, wipe data / factory reset and wipe dalvik cache. If you haven't yet.
And when you make a thread like this, provide info about your phone and ROM you're using.

Hey all,
None of the threads related to my issue helped me very much and the issue is still persistent.
Here's what happened. I flashed a new ROM (from CM11 to Purity). Before I flashed, I wiped System, Dalvik Cache, Cache, and Data. Usually there's no issue when I proceed with this method. I opened up the camera app and it had no front camera option. I tried other third party apps but still no luck.
I've heard that this is a hardware bug... which kind of confuses me since it was working fine while I was on CM11 M5.
If anyone has any experience with this or has dealt with the same issue, please let me know!
Thanks,

Why not try flashing something else?
I would flash the latest firmware to completely reset your device. If the front camera is working then you should be able to start flashing ROMs again.

Also tried that. Still not showing.
Just flashed lollipop and everything works perfect except for Bluetooth. Phone simply says there are no other Bluetooth devices in range, and those devices can't see the nexus. I tried rebooting, factory reset, re-flashing stock lollipop using flash-all batch and even Wug toolkit just to cover all my options but still no work around. Anyone else experience this problem or can think of a way to fix it? Anything would help.
Wipe Cache

I just downloaded the lollipop today on my NX5 and i have a bluetooth SENA smh10 for my helmet and it was working very fine before the update, now its unstable, iv to start the music app first on phone while connecting the bluetooth inorder to be able to control it via the bluetooth device, also for calls, i recieved a call and i opened but no sound was there, i tried to call, same happened, so i had to disconnect the device, make the call and then i connected again..after a while it worked and i made a call... Theres some bug in the bluetooth i guess as my smh was working fine before. Also iv a problem in some wedges not responding like the data on off one. Oh yes..and battery empties SO Fast

So I solved the issue. Re-flashed 5.0 to the device, rebooted, and wiped cache. It still didn't pick up bluetooth as of last night but it worked this morning. Also, for any android wear users (or at least moto 360) the phone wouldn't pick up the watch until I did factory reset on the watch and opened android wear on the phone itself in order to accept terms and conditions.
@TheRoice
thanks, has worked for me :good:
i have a nexus 5 that is completely stock. I used to have it rooted but decided to go back to stock for lollipop. I am running android 5.1. Since I have had lollipop I have zero gps capability. I feel like I have read every thread on the subject and tried every suggestion, but I can never get the gps to lock.
I have tried the. Card stock gps antenna fix, didn't work.
I tried factory reset
I tried device only
I have used gps test and fix
I have used gps status and toolbox
I tried safe mode
I tried mapquest
Bottom line my gps doesn't work at all, it used to, but not anymore. Any ideas on what to do?
Same thing here and I also tried most of what you describe --- 5.1 (LMY47D), clean install (no OTA).
Select high accuracy
What does GPS status show? Flat lines for all satellites? What is the setting you're using for downloading the assistance data?
I used GPS Test and GPS Status -- here are two screenshots: i.imgur.com/o2B5QCk.png
Meanwhile I flashed LMY47I and re-installed everything from scratch. It still feels sluggish but now I can get at least a GPS fix after a couple seconds. Hope it stays this way.

The only solution seems to be this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QBpNtWvY454 (confirmed here)
I also tried several tricks and nothing works.
What is the easiest way to do a complete wipe and flash to the latest version of android to see if that will fix it?

The above hardware trick worked for me though (and optimizing the gps.conf file for my region/country).

Until 'Extra Suggestion.....' I didn't try Leo AGPS Injector BTW.
I just wanted to update everyone...I wiped the phone clean and flashed the phone to the latest stock. GPS issues remained, so I rooted it and tried the GPS.config tip and it didn't help either. Then I downloaded FasterGPS and used it (basically does the same thing the GPS trick linked above does) and now it works again. It takes about a minute for it to lock so it isn't super fast to lock, but it works and I have not heard the GPS signal lost since I did FasterGPS.
Thanks for all the advice and suggestions.
Hello,
Since some days, I have an issue on my OPO. I can phone or send SMS but the DATA does not work. I need to reboot my phone to get mobile data back.
The issue is effective on default ROM or custom ROMs.
I think the issue appears when I'm moving and changing of antenna.
To tell before any questions:
- My APN are OK, checked and rechecked.
- Test by modifying Mobile Network options -> NOK, GMS come back but no data.
- Plane mode on/off, NOK, GMS come back but no data.
- on/off on the radio in the .#.#4636... menu, GMS come back but no data.
- It is not an issue of my sim card, tryed with a new one, samething.
- wipe cache and dalvik, NOK, always same issue.
The only thing which is working is to reboot my phone.
Any help please ?
up please !
Did you try flashing different modems ??
Nope not yet but it was working and suddenly it stops ...

I had the same issue when using baseband DI.3.0.c6-00241. The issue also just appeared out of no where. I upgraded to baseband 4.0.1.c7-00013 and the issue went away.
Thanks. I'll test this version.
Hello,
Unfortunately, the change did not solve the problem.
I suspect that this happens in roaming (Operator Free Mobile FR)

The problem appeared after upgrade to nougat. I tried factory reset, it was ok for the first hours and now, the problem returned.
Anyone facing the same problems?
Phone not rooted, running on official rom and problems occurs even in safe mode....

Hi
How did you upgrade?
OTA , flashing??
If OTA did you upgrade al your apps , maybe one of them is making trouble
If flashing , how? and also did you upgrade your apps
Hey, thanks for the answer. It was OTA. I suppose all apps are up to date since I restored to factory settings and re-installed them.
The problem is still there even in safe mode...

Hi
yeah is odd , i would think it has to be app related .....
When you get the error ..after you introduce the password? what about if you ask your phone to forget your old connection , it allows you to connect to the new one then?
I would try to wipe dalvik and cache from recovery and /or reflash stock rom again..maybe something went wrong at least the modem

I tried to wipe the cache with no success. I am on a trip right now, and I cannot wipe the dalvik for the moment.
I figured out a walkthrough though using a third party app called "WIFI manager". I even managed to install a certificate and use it for a connection to an "eduroam" network...
